    Pita sandwich, falafel salad, fries
    Lizzie P.

This was our first time in brassica after many recommendations from friends, we'll definitely be back! The staff were friendly talking us through the options and the food was so fresh and tasty. The vibe inside was also much nicer than tradition fast casual. We loved the falafel and can't wait to try the chicken and other sauces!

We came in at 9:30 and for the most part people were very nice about it. There was one shaggy haired guy who kept making comments under his breath which a tad bit uncomfortable but everyone else was super nice. I got a hummus plate on accident (it's literally a plate of hummus with toppings) and I don't even usually like hummus like that but this was phenomenal. I added all the toppings possible and also chicken. All the toppings are fresh and flavorful. My favorite was the cucumbers and radish which had the perfect amount of vinegar sharpness and crunch to balance out the meal. I do think one pita isn't enough for the amount of hummus so I took it home and had it with fresh cucumber slices and it was divine. I also tried the chicken pita sandwich which was yummy but I think next time I would get a salad plate. I also tried the fries which were fried nicely and seasoned wonderfully. Would highly recommend!

Loved it! The food was so good that I forgot to take a photo before finishing my meal. Everything was incredibly fresh, quick, and reasonably priced. The staff member who helped my family was also especially kind and attentive, and I appreciated how patient she was when walking us through all the food options. Overall, the food was a huge crowd pleaser and not a single dish was left unfinished. The tahini chocolate chip cookies were an unexpected surprise - they're perfectly warm and gooey with a nutty, rich flavor. I'm still dreaming about them. Even my parents, who rarely care for sweets, raved about them as well. Overall this is a great fast casual restaurant with delicious, healthy, and satisfying food. Brassica, please open a location in NJ!

Love Brassica! It's a Mediterranean version of Chipotle and always hits the spot. My favorite toppings are their falafel, pickled cakes, eggplant and cauliflower. Love their sauce options as well. It's always quick and easy to order, even if there's a long line it tends to move fast. Highly recommend for a flavorful and delicious meal!

Brassica is our go to in the area for a quick healthy meal. The food is fresh and the service is very quick. Many people must feel the same way because there is a line very often. We generally get take out, but this time we decided to dine in. The dining room was clean and even though I had to wait for my salad it was not long. The staff definitely keep the line moving. It is crazy to see them making the bread. They are ver efficient. Speaking of bread. I could eat the bread every day. It is a circle of goodness and even better when it is warm.

Pro Tip: Try Brassarita (minty pink lemonade + top shelf spirits)! I visited Brassica over the weekend, and it was honestly a great experience from start to finish. Let's just be honest that initially I was on my way to McDonalds but was lured in by the glowing Brassica sign. The space is clean and inviting, with a modern vibe that's both casual and upscale. It's dim lit and could very well compete with a nice restaurant. It's much more posh than Van Aken location (more spacious too)! There's colorful artwork on the walls that adds a nice local touch, and the staff was friendly. They were also friendly with guests behind me that were there for the first time. I ordered a bowl and loaded it with all kinds of toppings that were generously served. The line moved very quickly and efficiently. Both the bowl and the pita were delightful, super fresh. I was surprised because I was there on a Sunday night around 8 PM. I'd expect for the food quality to be declining but it was not. Let me reiterate, the house-made pita was fresh and warm! Order it! This Brassica offers drinks, wine, and even margaritas. I haven't seen margarita at other Brassicas. I was floored when they asked to chill the wine for the couple dining in. I wouldn't expect it at Brassica. I liked the vibe so much that I also dined in. The restaurant is very spacious and comfy. It's definitely the kind of spot where you can grab a quick, satisfying meal without sacrificing quality. I'd highly recommend it for later evening Sunday food cravings.

This was not my first time at Brassica, but it had been a while. My first time was unremarkable. This, however was far more enjoyable than my first time around. The order process was slightly overwhelming, even for some on who had been there, but the staff made every effort to explain things simply and help us order. The food was outstanding! The diverse flavors, textures and colors made the meal enjoyable to nearly all of my senses! The dining area was well lit, until about 7:30p when the lights dimmed, making it feel a bit like a wine bar. The decor lacked direction, but felt like an attempt at elevating the space in order to justify pricing. Takeaway: give me this food in a chipotle sized que and pass the decor saving on to the customer. (Will get better pics next time!)

In town from Las Vegas and I was totally blown away away. The falafel bowl was amazing.

I'm in town from LAs Vegas and I was totally blown away. The food prices were great and one of the best meals I have had since being in town. The service was great everyone was polite and knowledgeable. The restaurant had an amazing g vibe with music in the back. The restroom were very clean which is always a sign of a great place.

Brassica is a fast casual restaurant that is assembly - style restaurant with middle eastern/ mediterranean food. You can get a sandwich, salad (comes with some type of grain), or hummus bowl. Then you can choose between adding hummus or baba ganoush. Then add a crunchy topping - pita chips or crispy onions. Next add your star of the show which is brisket, chicken, falafel, or pickled vegetables. Then you can add from your choice of pickled veggies - beets, cabbage, cukes, and radishes. Next choose your sauce - they have for option. I suggest the special sauce. You can also add feta cheese. Lastly, roasted veggies - eggplant, cauliflower + jalapeños, and carrots. I always go for a salad or bowl. I typically get the chicken but my most recent visit I got the brisket salad at friend's suggestion. I added baba ganoush - they have some of the best baba. I added pita chips for a nice crunch to my salad. Then beets, cukes + radishes, their special sauce, feta. It was so delicious and flavorful - definitely hit the spot! Don't forget a tahini chocolate chip cookie and a minty pink lemonade. The service is always quick and the staff is always friendly. I'm so happy they opened this location because it's so close to me!

Brassica is always a go-to casual but healthy choice. I feel great after eating there each time and keep bringing my friends to try it! Their hummus and special sauce is a must-try when you go there!!

Had dinner with my boyfriend here tonight, we both enjoyed our meals. I had a falafel sandwich with fresh veggies and lemon tahini sauce and he had a brisket sandwich. We shared a serving of fresh fries that were right out of the fryer. The staff here is super nice and friendly, explained the whole process as it was our first time eating there. We will definitely be back.

(The photo shows half an order of lamacun, half was already in a belly!)…read more We are regular visitors to the area, and Omar's is new to us. My, my, is it delicious! The area we live in is very large and has many cuisines, and we love the variety and competition for excellence. We consider ourselves lovers of delicious food from all corners of the world. I lived in the Middle East for a while, and maybe this changes my view on food as well. This was our second visit this trip. Our first visit was with a group of 10, many dishes were tried by all but me (no gluten, garlic, onion, more - all the good stuff). Our group liked this spot a lot. On the last day of Ramadan at sundown, we waited a bit, but they managed to squeeze in a group of mourning family. All agreed that it was excellent. Tonight, just two of us. One grew up making homemade lamacun at home, and in the pic, it's already half demolished. Big thumbs up there. My dinner partner had lamb shish kabob with rice pilaf and the cabbage salad that comes with it. "Deee-licious!" they said. (Yum, didn't ask so I didn't realize could have it as it has no garlic or onions but I will happily share in the leftovers!) I had Omar's Special which is beef with spices and typically garlic. Absolutely delicious and not overcooked one bit. The garlic was not added at my request. I had fries since pilaf has tiny delicious fried pasta in it. It also comes with a cabbage salad, which I gave to my dinner partner. I also ordered the Shepard's Salad, without onion. Sized to share. Yes, please, and thank you. My dining partners opinion of the slaw is that it is great. Finely shredded cabbage with carrot and a nicely flavored dressing with herbs and caraway as we recall. If we lived anywhere near Ohio, we would definitely be back at Omar's more frequently. As it is, we will be back every time we are in town. Highly recommended. Dietary restrictions: I unfortunately have a LOT of dietary restrictions, which include many signature flavors here. Both visits they have been very open about ingredients and willing to modify anything possible. That's not always the case, and I so appreciate it when a place will be open and accommodating. I'd love an addition of a way to eat rice pilaf for those of us that can't digest gluten, and they seemed amenable to considering it as a new dish. This review is also available on Google.

We came in as a party of 7, took over a large round table and were waited on quickly with carafes of coffee and never ending eater. We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast menu, bar offerings, and lunch options. Unfortunately we were too busy talking to take pictures of our meals, but they were each fantastic. If you are looking for omelets and perfectly crisp hash browns, Claudette's has them! The bill was moderately priced for seven meals and beverages to go around. It's a large space with booths and tables. It can fit a decent amount of people. They sat us quickly and the server was very prompt with drinks. She brought waters and carafes of coffee. I wasn't in the mood for the Bfast and they gave me the lunch menu. I got a bowl of soup and half a corned beef sandwich. Soup was chicken noodle. It was hot to the table which was great. But it was kinda bland. Definitely homemade. Just not a lot of flavor. The half a corned beef sandwich was hot. I asked for no cheese and got cheese anyway. Not bad but I didn't want it. It was also hot and I wanted cold. So I guess I should have been clear but the server never asked me either. It was OK but not what I wanted. Everyone else got various breakfast foods and a few other lunch items. These were wrong too. We got a sandwich that was suppose to be a tuna melt that was just a tuna sandwich not a tuna melt. We got a breakfast sandwich with the wrong cheese. Lots of mistakes that could be prevented to make the experience better. Overall the feeling of the group was just meh. Some were OK and some said their food was just bland. Prices weren't bad about average. Server was nice but not sure she wasn't part of all the mistakes or the kitchen just made things their way. Wouldn't go back. Lots of other better choices around. Loved spending time the girls. And they let us sit and BS for awhile with no pressure. That was nice. But overall food wise just not great.
