We had a fabulous experience here, largely bc of Francesca, who was so kind and warm the entire visit and sent us personalized notes the next day. My favorites were the 2021 Coombsville ($95), Cabernet franc, 2018 Coombsville Cab ($155) and the 2023 Rose of Pinot Noir ($48), so we purchased a bottle of each and they shipped cross country to NYC within a week. We did our private tasting in the cave which came with a great cheese plate for pairings. And highly recommend saving room and time to grab a bite to eat at their restaurant on the property - it was delicious! We failed to make a reservation but Francesca was kindly able to squeeze us in. Overall, had a great time here! It was probably our favorite of the entire weekend (unfortunately had a couple disappointing visits).

Just a sit down area not allocated to anything.

Would not Let us sit down unless we had The 65.00 tasting. We had the uncorked pass. They gave us three tastings. All Others gave us 5. Seven was our server. Never been so demeaned. This does not Take away from The cabernet being very good. He blamed his decision on the higher ups. Then he proceeded to tell me he likes the finer things in life which insulted me. Such a first world problem I told him then he was scattered.

Last Saturday 7/31, my wife and I visited your beautiful winery and experienced your wonderful '17 Cab. Compliments.   Unfortunately, while sitting on the lounge chairs by the fountain enjoying our wine and charcuterie, a Hispanic female staff member wearing a green top rudely commanded "You need to clear out." We were shocked! Before we even had a chance to pick up our belongings, she again barked "You need to move now!"   No one told us that the area was "off-limits" and, in fact, the wonderful staff at the café brought our wine and cheese platter directly to us. This spoiled what would have been a 5-star experience for us and an outing for my staff.   A beautiful winery, sadly spoiled by one staff member.

We went in as a group of 8 and had their wine and food pairing. The location is beautiful. They have scenic outdoor seating. The land scalping and decor is excellent. We started off with a Chardonnay and their hand pulled mozzarella. The mozzarella is delicious. Best I've ever had. Next we has the House-made pappardelle pasta and 2016 Cabernet. Pasta was tender and wine was juicy and very fruit forward. Then we had lamb chops with their 2018 Cabernet. I liked this paring better than the 2016. The richest of the lamb and Cabernet worked well. We ended the meal with the butterscotch panda cotta. It was smothered in a caramel rum sauce. I dreamt about that dessert for the next couple of days. It was sooooo good. This is a great location and definitely recommend a visit.

We were wine tasting at HALL winery (a must if you're in St Helena) and the couple next to us recommended we come here. This play is hidden within a winery and is very classy. The ambiance is modern/industrial and very dark, we came around 4 PM so there weren't that many people there. All our food was great! We ordered all appetizers The roasted Brussel sprouts salad came with an egg and was very flavorful. The calamari and fish and chips were also delicious as well, but not anything out of the park. I also appreciated the complimentary bread. Would come here again for dinner sometime!

Found this place by watching Check Please Bay Area. I highly recommend it. The food was fantastic as well as the service. They have great indoor or outdoor seating. Wonderful for brunch with the girls or a special occasion. Definitely plan to go back!

Absolutely beautiful building. All of the furniture was mid-century modern and pristine. We made tasting reservations online for our group in advance and were seated at a large table that was perfect for our party size. The woman who handled our tasting sounded like an owner in the way she spoke of the wineries history and future, and she did a great job explaining each wine to us. She answered all of our questions with ease and I really enjoyed the tasting overall. We tasted 4 wines for $40 +tax, which was the most expensive tasting we had all day. I wish we had gotten a few more tastings, but the wines were good and the pours were larger because she was not using a tasting stopper. There was food available at the bakery or at a sit down restaurant. Upon leaving the winery we went to the bakery and all of the tarts and cookies were delicious, some even warm. Decorations for a wedding were being setup outside and it was truly picture perfect. I can only imagine how beautiful it would look when it was all finished!

We could not fault this place! What a special experience. We were visiting from Australia and had done a few experiences in Napa and found some of them to be a bit repetative. We booked at Brasswood hoping for something different and WOW did it deliver. We booked the Sensory Wine and Food Pairing lunch. It seemed a little pricey but we were glad we signed up depsite our reservations about the cost. It started with our wonderful host Jordanna and got better all the time. The tour was short and sweet but great and meant we spent the majority of time in the spectacular sensory room. The food was perfect and Jordanna waited on us like royalty while still allowing us to have a very private lunch. They were also very happy for us to use the facilities and linger for another glass of wine after our experince concluded. This winery has a very different story to many others and i really hope it does well. We will definitely be back.

Super cute!

Definitely a must when in Napa. The customer service is great. The vibe is super cool!! The people know their wine. The restaurant has pretty amazing food too.

We drove passed Brasswood while out for a Sunday drive yesterday and gave them a quick ring to see had they any bookings free for two people - thankfully they did and we quickly turned around and made our way there. On arrival we were met by Jonathon - who is an absolute pleasure to deal with. He had our table all set up and told us about the winery, the bakery, the kitchen and most importantly the wine. All staff were wearing masks and plenty of signs are posted about wearing your mask and practising social distancing. Jonathon was so knowledgable and didn't mind us asking so many questions. You can tell he really enjoys his job. When we were leaving Jonathon gave us a mini tour of the estate and a handwritten note of some recommendations for wineries and restaurants in the area as we mentioned we had just moved to the area. This place is an absolute gem!

Library tasting room was gorgeous!!!!!

We did a cellar tasting and it was absolutely amazing. Our guide brought us through the caves and showed an immense knowledge of the process and production of the wines. We had a beautiful tasting of their Cabernet Sauvignon wines through the years. Highly recommend going from most recent to oldest (we did 2018, 2017,2016,and 2015). Our guide recommended to perform the tasting that way and I am happy we did. It was a lovely tasting and my fiancé and I learned a lot. The setting was intimate and every and all of our questions were answered. We ended up purchasing few bottles and we are very excited to enjoy them as they age. Highly recommend the experience. I was excited to try a "younger" vineyard and it completely blew away my expectations. Highly recommend.

Review #400! We have…read morevisited V Sattui several times over the years, and it was on our itinerary for our current Napa trip, primarily because we wanted to get lunch at their food market. V Sattui is rather unique among the region's wineries, for several reasons: they have a food market, they allow purchased bottles to be consumed on site, they allow picnicking, and they serve as a wedding venue. This is not easy to achieve in Napa's ridiculously restrictive permitting landscape. So first, let's talk about the food market, which is one of the main attractions of this place. The cheese shop alone is worth going out of your way for. Almost every type of cheese you can hope to find. Sorry to my idealistic vegan aspirations, but I don't think I'll be giving up cheese anytime soon. They have a deli with sandwiches, pastas and various side dishes, olives, fruits, etc. Come on an empty stomach and be ready to eat well. When we first arrived at the winery, we were welcomed in by the very nice host, who explained the tasting menu options, if we were interested in a tasting. About 13 wines to choose from, and you get to pick any 5, $45 per tasting. Love the flexibility. Lots of white and rose options, as opposed to many wineries which just pile on the reds. I like a good red, don't get me wrong, usually with a big dinner, but on a hot summer day, I want lighter, refreshing wines. So we were sold, and signed up for an indoor tasting before lunch. During the couple of years we've been away from Napa, the winery has completely rebuilt their tasting room and store, for both structural and cosmetic reasons. It looks fantastic now, featuring a very attractive, modern circular tasting bar. Would have taken pics, but I try to avoid posting pictures of strangers on the internet, and the tasting room was filled with people. We grabbed a seat at the bar, and were greeted by our tasting guide, Lucas. Lucas was amazing. Personable, hospitable, and engaging. He made us feel welcome, got to know us, and ensured we had a great time throughout, even though he was serving multiple other customers at the same time. I could never do his job. I selected all white and rose wines, and RB went with mostly red. My favorites were the off-dry Riesling, and the Sauvignon Blanc. RB's Preston Vineyards cab was also very good, but again, I would need a hearty meal to consume this with. Lucas also treated us to a couple of complimentary pours, and the Madeira was an especially nice treat. We finished up our tasting, bid au revoir to Lucas, and made our way to the deli for lunch. We were hungry and decided to keep it simple with the essentials - cheese (of course), sweet baguette, and grapes. So many enticing cheeses to choose from, but you can't go wrong with French Brie and medium cheddar, so that's what we opted for. As for the beverage selection, RB's and my wine palates do not always align, but we can usually agree on bubbles, so that's what we did. Armed with a bottle of Brut cuvée and the aforementioned goodies, we made our way out to the picnic area. It's lovely out there. Many picnic tables, in the shade or in the sun, or you can picnic on the grass. We found a shaded table in the breeze overlooking Route 29, and settled in for our leisurely lunch. Terrific experience start to finish, even better than I remember from the past. Make sure you make V Sattui part of your Napa itinerary.

His knowledge, personality, and genuine customer service are second to none. I usually never spend over $100 on a bottle of wine, but Bart's recommendations and the way he made us feel valued had me wanting to spend even more. He never pressured us--he simply listened to what we liked and guided us to wines we absolutely loved. Exceptional service like Bart's is what keeps people coming back. If you're visiting V. Sattui, do yourself a favor and ask for Bart. He truly is one of the best things about the winery, and he turned a great visit into an amazing one. More than 5 starts, I would give it a 20

It is a 5-course luncheon with wine pairings hosted in their private enoteca overlooking the vines, complete with a personal attendant and private chef to curate the experience. The food was delicious, the wine selection was superb--including their Howell Mountain Cabernets (Cold Springs, Croquet, and Cima)--and the private room was the perfect intimate space. It was such a relief to have a private area where I didn't have to worry about disturbing other guests while having an infant in tow! However, I'm giving this experience 4 stars instead of 5 because it felt surprisingly generic for a winery that typically excels at personalization. In advance of our reservation, I was sent a questionnaire requesting our music preferences and celebration details, but neither were acknowledged during the visit. Why ask for that information if it isn't going to be used? It felt like a missed opportunity to make the experience truly magical. Overall, it was a good experience with top-tier food and wine, but I expected a bit more of that "Clif Family magic" when it came to the details.

I was hoping and praying that when my friends who are members of PEJU planned this wine tasting treat, that my stomach and head would be fine and to my surprise, my palate, tongue, stomach and heart were pleased with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Fifty/Fifty, and more, including reserve reds Todd served and educated us about!
