This is the first review I have ever had to do because of service. We went to Braums on N. Maize tonight around 830. When we got there, there were about 4 people ahead of us. There were plenty of employees so I figured it would be quick. Aboit 10-15 minutes later, we were placing our order. I had noticed there were 3 and sometimes 4 employees working drive thru orders only. There was only one employee working the front counter. She was a trainee and was having a tough time but was doing great. When we went to check out there was an issue with the register. The trainee asked for help and was told to go to another register. At this time' I was aggravated so I asked.for a manager. The Asst Manager had been working the drive thru register the whole time, never once paying attention to the now 8 plus people in line waiting to be served by the trainee, who was still doing a great job. We asked the manager why the trainee was the only one working the front and every other employee working the drive thru. He told us they had to get the drive thru out faster for response times. I asked about all the people in line inside the store and he again said they had to have faster drive thru response times. I told him we would not be coming back to this location as he had a "I don't care" attitude. He did not seem to care what I had said. We have never had any issues like that at a Braums before. It seems to me the Asst Manager needs a little more training in customer service and how to utilize his employees to take care all customers. I know the business has cameras so it should be very simple for management to watch exactly what I'm referring to. read more

Ordered Hamburgers around 5:00. They were over cooked and dry. Tasted like they had been on a grill all afternoon. I complained to one of the girls working and her response was "Thank You, Sorry have a good evening " read more

Very good service my friend didn't even get his cone that he he asked instead he got a cup, also their SPECIAL dipping sauce tastes like ketchup mixed with Mayo and ranch. And their catch-up is like the Dairy Queen ice cream it doesn't fall out of the container when you tip it upside down read more

Writing bad reviews is not like me at all but this location is bad!!! I waited in line for 20 lines inside with only 2 people in front of me. All the employees were walking around us in line like we weren't even there. After 20 minutes, I finally got helped and ordered a scoop of ice cream and went and tried to order a cheeseburger. The guy helping me was looking directly at me but didn't even seem to be listening, he never rang up my cheeseburger. I asked if he got my order and he just shook his head no. After finally getting my simple order in, a cheeseburger with onions and ranch on the side, he never said a word then I swiped my card and said the food was to-go. They called my number and the food was not in a to-go bag, so I just asked for a bag to put my food in and a lady just looked at me like I was annoying the h*ll out of her. I decided not to say anything but my entire order was wrong and left the place so frustrated. They even put a soda lid on my ice cream and didn't put it on all the way and ice cream was everywhere. My past two visits have been wonderful! The older woman working as the cashier in the grocery area was super sweet and offered me a bag for my leftovers! Make sure someone is constantly in the lobby cleaning!! The soda station had a lot of build up and tables had crumbs. Otherwise the food was great and there was a short wait for my order to be taken and the food to be served! read more

I've given this establishment too many opportunities. Worst customer service. Forgot half of my drive thru order and i didn't realize until i got home. But when i called i was given attitude from the assistant manager, and when my wife picked the food up he didn't apologize or offer anything. My last 3-4 trips to this location have ended with terrible customer service. Will not be returning. Would rather spend more on gas to a different location. read more

Each time I order (literally 8-10 times in the past few months) The person who takes my order cuts me off as I'm talking by saying "and then what" before I get a chance to even finish my item. Tonight was one of the worst experiences I've ever encountered at any Braum's I have ever been to! My family and I visited this location because it's fairly new and the other two locations that are close by are typically busy and pretty slow. We were just wanting a quick ice cream after some yard work and thought braums sounded good. We showed up to the store and went inside to order. We had three people in front of us and it took about 20 mins and we could tell that the girl working the ice cream cooler was fairly new and was struggling to get orders filled. There were four other employees running around appearing to be doing drive-thru orders. The girl running the cooler would ask questions to her co-workers and they would act annoyed that she was asking and nobody would help her get anything done. The line behind us started to get pretty long and the anxiety of the new girl was obviously getting to her as she was trying to do her best to get things done. When we finally had all of our stuff that we ordered the computer she was working on had froze up. This made her anxiety skyrocket as she tried to get somebody to help. She would tell her co-workers that the computer froze up and they ignored her plea for help. We finally asked for a manager and the girl got on her headset to ask for them to come talk to us. When he came over to the register we asked why he would have a trainee on the cooler by herself, clearly notice she was struggling, and not do anything about it? He said to our faces that the drive-thru takes precedence and walked away. The guy didn't offer anything like an apology which would have sufficed as we were not looking for anything free, we just want better customer service. This is absolutely ridiculous that we even had to get a manager involved on something like this. The blatant disregard to customers looking you in the face and the manager pops something like that off to a paying customer is unacceptable! We will not be visiting this place ever again! We will go down the street and pay just a little bit more for not only better ice cream, but specifically and for sure better service! read more

Terrible service; me and my acquaintance stood in line for 7 minutes while the workers were cleaning the glass and machines and not giving any attention to us. When they did help us they were rude and demeaning and ruined my wonderful ice cream experience I know Braums can provide. I saw no managers (from what I could tell) and if this particular girl was a manager she did a very poor job and shouldn't be working in food service. read more
