I..love..Borderlands Brewing This is the Sam Hughes lication. It's not overly large but not too tiny either. Parking lot is tiny and only able to take six cars but street parking is nearby. There is and inside seating area but outside is where it's at. One large TV and some covered spots. Been here a few times and always enjoyed it. There is WiFi but it's tricky getting the password. You have to ask the bartender and even they have to look it up. There are some non-alcoholic Jarittos sodas there too. Beers are about $8/pint. Just a laid back vibe to this place. Always enjoyed it here.

Sat in front of the big window looking over the patio and enjoying a refreshing flight of beers. The food looked amazing so I'll have to try it next time.

Nice little brewery. Not a huge selection on tap But my porter is very good. They have a food menu. Looks good. A couple of tweaks and you could have a couple of vegetarian style selections. May have to try them out. They offer an athletic brewing company hazy ipa for those who prefer NA like my hubby.

'Just checking out local breweries while escaping the August heat.... Borderlands Brewing is a gem! 'Amazing waitstaff; super friendly! 'Spouse and I shared the Ribeye tacos; outstanding(!) as was the SALSA and chips. He had the hazy IPA "good flavor, not too hoppy", and I a refreshing margarita. 'Comfortable, laid-back interior and afternoon vibe. Stop in; you won't be disappointed!

I really love this location! They have a dog friendly patio and plenty of seating inside for the colder months. As well as heaters on the patio to keep you and your furry friends warm. I had the tacos dorados for dinner and it was delicious. Perfectly crispy and the salsa was amazing! Kendra is always very friendly and welcoming!

Stopped in here for dinner with a friend while we were in town, this place has a lot of charm with space to sit inside or outside. I got a prickly pear marg and a house smash burger, everything was delicious, the fries were even good!!! Service was friendly and fast!

Great casual atmosphere with about half a dozen different rooms to mingle/assemble in, plus the outdoor front patio - all with TV/sports screens airing. The big secret is from 12n-1p, M-F tacos are all 1/2 price! That's like getting your drought for free. My friend and I got one of every taco basically (6 total). Friendly service, delicious tacos, and not crowded during lunch. Parking will get tight sometimes though, especially with Tumerico next door!

Really awesome place. They have two locations. They both have great outdoor spaces and both and pet friendly. We really enjoyed the one downtown. Their food truck has amazing food, great tacos, burgers and fries. They offer beer, mixed drinks, and seltzers. The host different events so def check their site for their upcoming events!

    Great beer selection!!

Love the atmosphere. Hot outside but so cool inside. Loved the beer selection and the couch. The bartender CJ was very friendly and informative. Had the carne asada tacos and absolutely loved that hot sauce! Will highly recommend this place.

Service is pretty attentive, beer and alcohol offerings are extensive. Very nice buildout and you can't get any closer to Lambeau. Food could use a little makeover. Well, less deep fried food perhaps.

Excellent Beers, Food and Outdoor Patio After visiting the Downtown Taproom, I had to try the new taproom in the Sam Hughes neighborhood. While they do offer some food, I just wanted to try some beers. We sat outside in a nice patio area, but as the desert air cooled off, we retreated inside to a cozy space with comfy couches, chairs and tables. I had to start with the German Chocolate Cake Porter that is just that - that famous, tasty cake in liquid form at 7.3% ABV. Absolutely delicious! I then had the Noche Dulce Vanilla Porter also at 7.3% ABV. Great vanilla aroma and flavor. I got in my dark beer fix and visited someplace new - a perfect evening!

Their new location is great! Parking is quite limited so don't be afraid to park in the nearby neighborhood. They're dog friendly on the patio with turf on the ground and water bowls. Inside has a few rooms with lots of seating options and the decor is cool. Drinks and food are quick, staff were on it when I visited on a Friday night. Always good beers!

I come here to work remotely sometimes. I like that the location is smaller but the same relaxed vibes of the other Borderlands downtown. However, I do not like the food here!! It's overpriced for how much you receive and the quality. I ordered buffalo wings and fries for about $20. The 6 wings were tiny. The fries they provided tasted okay but were 80% of the plate. They have good beer options here but no local cider option to try. I appreciate that it's not super crowded indoors during the day so I'll continue to come here to work occasionally but I'll eat across the street at Flora first.

A number of my favorite foods are only on the Happy Hour (3 to 6) menu including Mac & Cheese, Nachos and a perfectly crisped Cheese Crisp like nothing in town. It's even better when you get it straight from the source. What I love: An expanded selection of small-batch beers you won't find anywhere else. There were like 3 IPAs I'd never heard of before. They even had a lager made with pickles! (not my thing, but it has fans). You can also tell right away this spot is great for large groups, and the patio is like 50 feet long--probably amazing in better weather What I like: You can't go wrong with the food, either. I'm a big fan of the southwestern egg rolls (a better rendition of them than a certain chain restaurant). The sandwiches are decent. Nothing really sticks out as a signature item, and nothing is made with a particular beer pairing in mind, but I'll forgive them--it's solid food. When it cools down a bit, I'll certainly return here to try more lesser-known beers and a snack. The location is a little out of the way, but you won't regret going a couple miles outside of downtown for this.

I came for an event and immediately realized this is the kind of spot where every visit probably reveals something you missed the last time. The space is wildly eclectic in a way that feels intentional, not chaotic. You look up, you look around, you look again. There's a whole back area you wouldn't even know exists unless you wander, complete with its own seating and energy. Turns out they host yoga back there, plus a rotating lineup of events that actually feel community-driven instead of forced. Then there's the food situation. A Thai street food truck parked on site serving absolute flavor bombs. I had a curry tofu Thai taco--something I've never seen, let alone eaten--and it brought legit spice and depth. One of those "wait, why is this so good?" moments. Inside, the details keep stacking. A vending machine filled with mini purses, bath salts, and handmade artisan goods? Unhinged (affectionately). Swag everywhere. Walls that give you something new to look at every few seconds. And if that wasn't enough, they partner with Anello, which happens to be my favorite pizza in the city--so yes, that alone earns points. What really sealed it for me was how inclusive the menu is. A full non-alcoholic selection, vegan cookies and non-vegan options, so no one feels like an afterthought. Service was solid, friendly, and matched the laid-back but intentional vibe of the place. Honestly, I'm shocked it took me this long to make it to Crooked Tooth--but now that I have, I get it. This isn't just a brewery. It's a choose-your-own-adventure kind of space, and I'm already looking forward to the next chapter.
