Bravo Pizza is usually our Go-to Pizza for pizza night... we love the cheese and toppings they offer. Particularly the chorizo with jalapenos... and with our large family, we have to go with one or two Bravo Grandes. Except the last time we ordered, it wasn't so Grande. Hubby called in and let them know that our pizza seemed smaller than usual. The person who answered confirmed how many slices we had and said see, you got a Grande. I asked if something had changed with the pizza because I wasn't questioning the AMOUNT of slices, I was questioning the SIZE of them. We were told that nothing had changed. And that was that. I also took off one star since it took forever to get our pizza. The delivery driver was super nice but nonetheless it was 30 minutes later than they quoted and we had guests waiting on the pizza. read more

Ordered a personal pizza for the past two weeks. Pizza crust is crisp and the ingredients are high quality. Haven't had the calzone yet but friends got it and said it was very good. Looked delicious and held its shape and had a great crisp sound when cutting into it. Owner and staff are very kind, hard working people. Highly recommend this place. Bravos pizza did me dirty. I go in to pick it up my pizza and pay. But before I can pay some guy ordered the same pizza in front of me and they decided to give him my order. I obviously walked out and ordered pizza elsewhere. That is no way to treat a customer. How many other customers did they do this to? I recommend not to eat here. Had a gathering of 8 for dinner. Called in the order and they suggested the square large pizza. Large enough to feed us all and made into several sections with different toppings. Worked out well as everyone selected the type of pizza they wanted. All were good as was the service read more

Bravo pizza has been my favorite in Lompoc for years, not only because of their outstanding pizza, but also because of the owners generosity in his support of local sports teams. He would supply pizza for the Cabrillo girls tennis team when they won, etc. Last night we ordered two pizzas and were totally underwhelmed by the change. The pizzas were awful.Then I remembered that Bravo recently sold, the prior owner having retired. This morning I called Bravo, not in hopes of getting a free pizza, but to let them know that it isn't working. Instead of taking my criticism as a chance to improve, the "manager" went on the defensive. He argued that he had worked with the prior owner and was doing it right. Never mind the fact that the pizzas sucked. Without apology, he said it must have been a fluke (or some other wording like that) We will probably give them another chance, maybe it was a fluke. but there are pizzas on every corner....I JUST DIDN'T LIKE THE ARGUMENTATIVE ATTITUDE. I am so sad to see the former owner move on although I wish him all the best. read more

Amazing pizza! Great staff. And MAN do they take some abuse. I just listened to a lady chew the young guy out because her pizza wasn't ready when she got here and the kid handled it like a champ. Bravo pizza definitely has a ton of locals addicted to their specialty pizzas and especialy their baton bread sticks; one of my favorite things to get there even if i'm not ordering a pizza just to snack on with a friend or two. This pizzeria is my favorite place around to get pizza. I have had their vegetarian giant pizza and is well worth it for the price and quality of Bravo's pizza. Their pizza restaurant is very much a family pizzeria ; the great people that work there are extremely welcoming sometimes staying and even having dinner or lunch with you. The restaurant area is a little small but every time my friends and I eat there we leave with a full belly, a smile, and a full heart. I almost never want pizza, but when I do, I NEED it. When my husband suggested it the other day, I found this place on yelp so we gave it a shot. GOOD CALL! He almost ordered a second personal pizza just so he could continue tasting all the amazing flavor! Mine was delish as well. This never happens, but I actually made us go again the next day! I never eat pizza two days in a row!! The free breadsticks are really good. They're not just pizza dough cut with a slicer, they're actually rolled. So good. I also appreciate that there are cups and a pitcher of water in the refrigerator of the dining room, so you can keep your own water glass full without having to ask or wait :) I've always gone to Mi Amorè across the street, but this pizza is way better. I'll only go back there for the salad bar from now on! I highly recommend this little owner/operator pizza joint above all other pizza places in the area. read more

Good Lord this is excellent pizza. I've eaten at Bravo for over 15 years and it still taste amazing, how does that happen? I'll try and spell this out for you. It takes me about 2 minutes to eat an average slice of pizza. But if I grab a slice of Bravo pizza, I think it takes me around 20 seconds. Why? Because you don't want to tease your mouth and taste buds by depriving it of the magical goodness of the sauce, cheese, and crust they make here. I don't know the secret, but it's magic in my mind. Oh I should say the restaurant has a very nondescript entrance but do not let that make you think twice! You're here for great pizza, not to fool yourself into thinking you're in Europe. read more

Was up in Lompoc for the weekend visiting my uncle and great uncle. And if there is one thing the Chuba's do well it's eat! Before we left town yesterday we ordered pizza from this place. It was delicious! We got the meat lovers. I have to say before I continue that I have never been a fan of meat lovers pizza's because I'm generally not a fan of sausage(or at least not the sweet licorice kind that is a staple on pizza). This pizza did have sausage on it but the taste was overwhelmed by the other delicious toppings. This was a huge pizza for a small price and I kinda know why, it isn't great...just ok. They gave us free breadsticks with our order but it didn't make up for the bland sauce and cheap cheese. Ordered the Grande Pizza, way to much dough, and very undercooked crust. To much cheese and way overpowering. Not enough other toppings despite asking for loaded toppings. You can see in the picture that where you think we ordered cheese, it's actually suppose to be double pepperoni. First time trying this place, probably our last. I've been coming to this pizza place since I moved to Lompoc in 1992 and I have to say this is the absolute best pizza place there is in town! Quality ingredients, great staff and the new owner Matt is a really great guy! I'm glad to see that he purchased the business and what he's doing with it! Spent $60+ on 2 personal pizzas, 1 small and 1 medium plus 5 sides of ranch for delivery. Driver didn't have the ranch. Got an email to review them from toasttab.com and gave a thumbs down because order was incomplete. Was able to tick a box to have them contact me and they never did. I should have relied on Walter T's review back in August and not ordered from here which I won't do again. Let me preface my critical review by first sharing that I grew up in NJ outside NYC and I absolutely love NY style pizza. I measure all pizzas against my idea of a thin crust pizza. I've had Bravo pizza twice now and while it is better than most all chain pizza, I found the crust flavourless and the content of the pizza below average (again for non chain pizza). The bread sticks were solid but not amazing. As far as pizza in town, I think Giant Manhattan is far superior which I give a 4 start rating (3 1/2 then a bump up vs a bump down for not being in a major city). Again, I'm just a bit confused by the 4 1/2 star rating. I could see 3 1/2 it even four as a locals favorite; but it's just a bit too bland to have this following. read more

I rarely give 5 stars, if at all. Was in town visiting family. Perhaps it was the company, the moment, the extreme craving for good pizza, but dayum - this place was just about perfect. The biggest problem is that there's no real 'restaurant', and if we'd eaten the pizza there we would have raved about their food right to their faces. First of all, the service was quite awesome. The woman at the counter gave us a few suggestions on one of our pizzas. We ordered 3 mediums because we all had different ideas of what we wanted. We did take away. At home, opening the boxes was exciting. The cheese was done just about perfectly. Truth be told, we sort of 'doctor' the pizza ourselves, doing some extra fresh garlic & butter to dip the bread sticks, extra crusts, and of course to put on top (hey, we like garlic). The pizzas didn't need that at all, but oh my, was so awesome. Back to the pizzas: The red sauce is awesome! And they put enough on the pizza you can taste it. nom nom nom The girls had hawaiian (pineapple & ham), I ordered a custom job, and my brother was debating between a white sauce (alfredo) or pesto - the woman at the counter suggested a mixture of both. All three pizzas were incredible and completely different. And the bread sticks - yeah, I'm not a bread stick guy. It seems like with some pizza establishments it's a silly way to add to their menu. Not at Bravo - they were actually pretty dang awesome (okay, and also dipped in our fresh butter & garlic...nom nom nom). I guess I could also take a half star off for not having roasted garlic on their menu, but truly I didn't miss it. Really. Seriously. This is one of my fave restaurants in the area and now is on 'the list' of must visit places when I'm town to visit family. I believe the family will be regulars there. :) read more

We ordered the Medium Chicken Alfredo pizza ($16) which has chicken and mushrooms with Alfredo sauce. We added bacon and had the mushrooms only on one half since I didnt really prefer them but my friend did. We also split a personal salad ($2) and had an order of butons ($1.50- 1/2 dozen garlic bread sticks). We ordered it to-go, took like 10 mins, not a long wait at all. They also had a white board that had trivia questions and if you were able to answer all 3- you would get a free order of bread sticks. Overall everything was extremely delicious and the staff was very helpful/friendly with offering suggestions. The outside wasn't very decorative or flashy so if you weren't aware that this place was there, you prob wouldn't think about stopping there. Will def return! read more
