By that time it was 12:00 noon. She replied, "Well, if you wanted them at a certain time, you should have told us. Then we could have made sure you got them when you needed them!" 1) If someone says your order will be ready at a certain time, why should I have to say what time I need it by? Way to switch things up and blame the CUSTOMER for your mistake! If they got 2 big orders right before mine, shouldn't she have adjusted the pick up time accordingly? 2) I left her a $5.00 tip. She easily could have taken that $5.00 and used it to buy me a soda. Instead she told me she "couldn't do that." I ended up waiting 35 minutes for pizzas that should have been ready in 15-20, according to them. Having worked at a pizza place in my younger days, I know how long it takes to cook a pizza in a commercial oven. It takes 5-10 minutes, depending on the size and type of crust. The worst part is this girl didn't apologize for the wait and refused to offer anything in compensation. At the end she stated, "Again, I'm sorry for the short wait" (yes, she said "short", not "long" or "extended") and I just responded, "It wasn't short. It was twice as long as you told me over the phone!" Fatte's, please do better in training ypur employees. There is no excuse for this type of "customer service." You have lost a good customer due to an employee's inability to want to make things right.
