Such a cool vibe! Delicious coffee and the breakfast bagel was exactly what I was craving.

What a hidden gem! I've driven past this place so many times and didn't know what i was missing! I came during lunch time but they still had their breakfast special available. There are so many food options here and all of it looks amazing! Lots of homemade treats too! I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast sandwich with a side of fruit. The loaded potato salad was also amazing! I got a cookie to go and it was delicious! There were literally so many choices that I had a hard time narrowing it down. I'll definitely be back to try other options. Also, shout out to the fabulous staff who were patient with me while i took my time deciding what i wanted. read more

Dulce de leche latte was delicious! You can definitely taste the dulce de leche. The horchata latte was a little bit grainy, obviously from the horchata. Blueberry muffin was very good. Not pictured: Cali bacon breakfast bagel. Pretty standard for a bagel sandwich. The staff were very friendly. They have a selection of goods for sale as well. Jams, some clothes, ect. This is not your typical Mexican food. Menu items are fresh and well-made. Some are vegan. And their house-made sweets and Aguas frescas are soooo good. Service is fast and top notch. read more

Godawful food, I'm sad to report, because they tried to do something good. The cherry lemonade tasted like Cherry Kool-Aid - zero real fruit flavor, tons of sugar, no tang. The shrimp + chorizo quesadilla seemed like it would be interesting - pineapple black bean salsa! chipotle crema! But the tortillas were worse than in a grocery store, the chorizo was bad, the shrimp was rubbery, and the sauce tasted like French dressing - no more, no less. The Capulin salad dressing was inedible, and the salad was served unmixed in a flat plastic clamshell that made mixing impossible. I hate to give them one star, but that's the accurate rating for here. Really nice workers - who cannot cook. Outside seating - unshaded, and directly facing the sun. Earnest attempt to combine ingredients in ways that they were doing in Cali 20 years ago - without any clue how to put them together. read more

I have found another place I have been sleepin on in Lompoc. I am upset that I have not tried this place before. Their veggie torta and tajin tuna were out of this world. I washed my torta down with a bottled Coke and some flavored chips. I also quickly decided that their bacon macaroni salad was the best I have ever had, and I will return for more. I cannot wait to try more food on their menu. The shop itself is adorable, and the provisions were fun to look at. There were a lot of cute gifts. The staff was super friendly, and the food came out reasonably quickly. Located right across the way, just a short walking distance from the wine ghetto, this would be a fantastic place to soak up all the alcohol from your wine tasting. Inside is a Hispanic cultural setting, lots of parking space, if you sit outside it's very meditating, The best part is the food! Everyone is friendly and welcoming and the inside of the shop at the Santa Rita Hills Wine Center is cute with lots of great gift ideas. Everything that we've ordered has been delicious, including the breakfast specials, baked goods, Cole slaw and the my favorite-chia seed pudding with granola and fruit. The seating is in the patio with a view of the hills and your order is brought to you quickly. One of my favorite places to eat in Lompoc. read more

A good reason to visit the cool facility known as Santa Rita Hills Wine Center (across from the Lompoc Wine Ghetto). This eatery is located in a new, hip building of tasting rooms and wine making facilities. Go for coffee and stay for the food - baked goods and thoughtful savory dishes too. I had the pastrami pizza - delicious flatbread topped with pickles and cheesy goodness. My Luv got the short rib barbacoa salad (on the menu as a sandwich) tender and flavorful meat and so satisfying. This place is what small businesses are about and I'm happy to support them. Friendly service. Owner Kelly has a clear passion for what she does. Ample seating (outside only), great vibe. Great spot! We just discovered this place today and had a great experience. The food was fresh, the place was comfortable and service was extremely pleasant and food was delivered to our table quickly and with a smile. The broccoli salad was on-point, the cinnamon roll bread pudding was perfect, our 12-year-old devoured her turkey sandwich, and my vegetarian wife was happy with her veggie torte. One of, if not the best, breakfast/coffee/pandulche shop in the county. Not to mention great customer service and quick food ordering if you call in your order. The vaquero sandwhich and breakfast burrito with barbacoa are two of the best breakfasts. The shop has other little trinkets and snacks inside. You won't be disappointed! read more

I went in for the lunch special. It was chicken tinga with black beans, cheese, and a garlic aoli. I ordered an extra side of the aoli. It was delicious, even the side of rice. I was nice and shared half with my husband. He liked it, too. The shredded chicken was very flavorful. I will be ordering this again. read more

Capulin is a very unique and delicious new eatery here in Lompoc. Their location is ideal too, right in the middle of several tasting rooms to include Zotivich & Transcendence! The owners are also amazing, Kelly is so nice and makes each customer feel like they are the only ones there. Now let's talk about the food - everything we've tasted has been phenomenal! The Concha Breakfast Sandwich is amazing, it's sweet and savory all in one bite. The Mexican Mocha is unmatched. They add orange peels which takes it to the next level. My favorite dish is the Braised Rib Sandwich! That thing bursts with flavor and is simply delicious. Do yourself a favor and buy one! They've only been open about a month, I suspect they will be around for quite some time. I am excited to see what they do next. read more

Cute little deli type restaurant, they are right in between a couple of wine tasting rooms and they have a few little tables. We went there for a work, lunch meeting, and everyone loved their food.Its one of the few places in Lompoc that have More of a fresh/whole Food style, food and salads. I love that they have so many options for lunch or picnic type items if you are wine tasting in the area. I love their huge variety of little salads in their deli and they also have some great lunch salad. They also have Chia pudding, which is a rare thing to find it seems pretty lightly sweetened. I think they might use agave. I usually always get in Arnold Palmer. The cool thing about this place is they also have agua Fresca so I'll usually get my Arnold Palmer with one of their agua frescas just because it tastes so good! read more

Agree with other reviewers. High quality, upscale options for a reasonable price here. This is the best place we've found in Lompoc as far as restaurants to suit our palates. Plus, if you are coming to Lompoc to view a Vandenberg rocket launch, the visibility here is perfect. read more

Fantastic! It's pronounced Cap-u-leen just in case you are wondering (like i was)! We enjoyed a nice, quiet, comfortable environment and super friendly service. It is not your typical "breakfast" or "coffee" shop. They have a creative menu and continue to offer new selections. The white mocha and Mexi mocha were flavorful and satisfying. We enjoyed the Pan Dulce Breakfast Sandwich and the special that day which was an open faced ham and egg sandwich (it had a name that I can't remember, maybe the owner will comment and help me out). Both items were delicious and filling. I will definitely be returning to try every item on their menu and recommending this place to others. There are not many spots like this on the coast to enjoy. I'm so glad someone recommended Capulin! read more

I love this restaurant! The food is terrific and the service is friendly and efficient. Each time I go there I am surprised by the number of new items for sale in the shop. the atmosphere is nice as well. There are small tables and a few chairs available to eat on the porch and wineries next door to augment your meal, if they are open. Even if the weather is not good for eating outside, it's worth going and bringing your order home to eat. I repeat the food is excellent! read more
