Left: horchata latte, right: dulce de leche latte, blueberry muffin

Dulce de leche latte was delicious! You can definitely taste the dulce de leche. The horchata latte was a little bit grainy, obviously from the horchata. Blueberry muffin was very good. Not pictured: Cali bacon breakfast bagel. Pretty standard for a bagel sandwich. The staff were very friendly. They have a selection of goods for sale as well. Jams, some clothes, ect. Overall super cute place!

Godawful food, I'm sad to report, because they tried to do something good. The cherry lemonade tasted like Cherry Kool-Aid - zero real fruit flavor, tons of sugar, no tang. The shrimp + chorizo quesadilla seemed like it would be interesting - pineapple black bean salsa! chipotle crema! But the tortillas were worse than in a grocery store, the chorizo was bad, the shrimp was rubbery, and the sauce tasted like French dressing - no more, no less. The Capulin salad dressing was inedible, and the salad was served unmixed in a flat plastic clamshell that made mixing impossible. I hate to give them one star, but that's the accurate rating for here. Really nice workers - who cannot cook. Outside seating - unshaded, and directly facing the sun. Earnest attempt to combine ingredients in ways that they were doing in Cali 20 years ago - without any clue how to put them together.

I have found another place I have been sleepin on in Lompoc. I am upset that I have not tried this place before. Their veggie torta and tajin tuna were out of this world. I washed my torta down with a bottled Coke and some flavored chips. I also quickly decided that their bacon macaroni salad was the best I have ever had, and I will return for more. I cannot wait to try more food on their menu. The shop itself is adorable, and the provisions were fun to look at. There were a lot of cute gifts. The staff was super friendly, and the food came out reasonably quickly. Located right across the way, just a short walking distance from the wine ghetto, this would be a fantastic place to soak up all the alcohol from your wine tasting. Please, give this place a try!

Cool quirky spot in a neat location in Lompoc! Kind of like a Mexican version of a Bobs Well Bread and Bakery. Out of the ordinary food offerings that are absolutely delicious! Variety of items on the menu for Breakfast and Lunch, as well as gourmet coffee and other hot and cold drinks. Fast friendly service from the owners. The burrito is HUGE. A+

Just picked up a Roasted Veggie Torta (first timer) and it is SO GOOD!! Vegetarian foods can, in my opinion, be tricky to prepare in order to taste good but not this place. It's fire

Delicious breakfast, friendly service, country store ambiance. We both ordered the avocado toast special and agua Fresca of the day. Perfect pairing! Great for lunch also in between great wine tasting rooms. This local is a one stop get it all done!

Lunch Special, Quesadilla chorizo w/ shrimp.

The customer service was super friendly, I was greeted immediately once I walked in. Inside is a Hispanic cultural setting, lots of parking space, if you sit outside it's very meditating, The best part is the food! Super delicious and definitely hits home, I'm so full and I still have left overs. I Will be coming back again.

    Concha Breakfast Sandwich

Capulin is a very unique and delicious new eatery here in Lompoc. Their location is ideal too, right in the middle of several tasting rooms to include Zotivich & Transcendence! The owners are also amazing, Kelly is so nice and makes each customer feel like they are the only ones there. Now let's talk about the food - everything we've tasted has been phenomenal! The Concha Breakfast Sandwich is amazing, it's sweet and savory all in one bite. The Mexican Mocha is unmatched. They add orange peels which takes it to the next level. My favorite dish is the Braised Rib Sandwich! That thing bursts with flavor and is simply delicious. Do yourself a favor and buy one! They've only been open about a month, I suspect they will be around for quite some time. I am excited to see what they do next.

    The lunch special chicken tinga.

I went in for the lunch special. It was chicken tinga with black beans, cheese, and a garlic aoli. I ordered an extra side of the aoli. It was delicious, even the side of rice. I was nice and shared half with my husband. He liked it, too. The shredded chicken was very flavorful. I will be ordering this again.

The check-in process was a breeze; we simply shared our party size and dining preferences. Before we knew it, we were seated in about 15 to 20 minutes. Now, let me tell you about the atmosphere. Inside, it was quite lively and a bit loud, so we opted for a charming outdoor seating area that felt much more relaxed. I couldn't help but notice how the staff, dressed in traditional Danish attire, radiated warmth and friendliness while being impressively efficient. For my meal, I went with a Danish pancake accompanied by Danish-style sausage--absolutely divine! I also swapped my eggs for hashbrowns, and wow, these have to be the best hashbrowns I've had in years. My child chose a waffle topped with fluffy whipped cream and a glass of orange juice, which she raved about, claiming it tasted like fresh-squeezed goodness. The portions were more than generous, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. All in all, it was a delightful brunch experience that I'd gladly recommend!

I usually order the Kay's Orcutt Original with eggs, home fries (or hash browns), and a choice of meat, so I've had the same breakfast enough times to notice the changes over the years. My biggest gripe is the inconsistency. The eggs don't seem to be the same quality they used to be, but the biggest disappointment has been the potatoes. Their home fries used to be the best I've ever had. They were one of the main reasons I kept coming back. Now, it feels like you never know what you're going to get. More often than not they're undercooked, leaving the potatoes hard in the middle. On the rare occasion I mention it, the replacement usually comes back overcooked instead. It's frustrating because all I'm hoping for is the perfectly cooked home fries they used to be known for. I can't quite put my finger on everything that's changed, but the overall quality just doesn't feel as consistent as it once was. The food is still pretty good, and that's why I continue to support them, but I definitely find myself coming less often than I used to. This place used to knock it out of the park almost every visit. I genuinely hope they can get back to that level because I'd love to see one of my longtime favorite breakfast spots thrive again.

Sunday mornings are meant to be leisurely but this time we were in a rush. We had actually slept in until 7am, normally up by 5am without alarms. Before the server could get us our iced teas our food was ready. It's super cute inside...can't wait to come back and enjoy the sit down restaurant. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Large alcoholic choice of drinks... really wanted that spicy Mary but since we were in a rush stuck with iced tea. The only 1 minute drive back to the gun range in Santa Maria was grueling smelling that gravy... We were both were thrilled at the large portions. It was amazing! I love gravy and could have used a little bit more but honestly I think it was fine for a normal person plus remember we go to go order so I suspect it soaked up a little on the drive. The staff threw in pepper and Tapatio which the hubs loves. I had Yellow Bird Blue Agave Sriracha in my travel trailer and used a little on it. OMG! It was so good! The potatoes had a nice crunch on them. That gravy was amazing. The biscuit was great, had a bite and saved the rest for later. The hubs managed to eat his whole plate and was stuffed! I might have eaten 1/4 of mine saving it for later. We will for sure be back!
