My fiance and I needed tile installed in our small kitchen. We had just gotten our hardwood floors…read moredone and were concerned about having the height match just right. We had been given a referral to someone from our hardwood floor guy, but that person never panned out. He kept scheduling appointments with us to do an estimate and kept cancelling. So that guy gave our contact information to another guy, and that's when I was contacted by Alfredo, the owner of J.A. Santos Flooring. I have to admit, I was skeptical at first when he called because I didn't know him, he was given my information not the other way around. But my fiance and I were immediately put at ease once we met Alfredo. He clearly knew what he was talking about and was polite, professional, and able to answer all of our questions in a way that made sense. He even helped us to decide on a smaller tile (12"x12" rather than 18"x18") because of the size of our kitchen. Seeing it now, I am SO grateful he made this suggestion. He emailed an estimate promptly the next morning, which was a Monday. He was extremely responsive by phone and email, which I appreciate. After we ironed out all of the details and came to an agreement on the price, which I found to be very reasonable, he told me he was ready to start the next morning! We purchased the tile and grout ourselves from Home Depot and left it in our back yard for him. He and another guy came the next morning and by the time I got home from work they had nearly all the tile laid out! Not to mention they had moved our washer, dryer, refrigerator, and stove safely and had totally protected our new hardwood floors. By the time I returned home from work on Wednesday, the entire job was completely finished and all of our appliances were moved back into place. It looks absolutely beautiful. And the magic is in the details. Everything is perfect; I have yet to find even the tiniest flaw. He went above and beyond. For example, the hardwood floor was cut just a little bit unevenly so when the tile was laid out next to it, there was a small gap. Alfredo matched the color of our hardwood floor and filled in the gap so that you would never know it was there. I tried to show my fiance and he had to look at it for like a full minute up close before he could even tell that it wasn't our hardwood floor! And I didn't ask Alfredo to this. He saw that it needed to be done, and he did it. He also went out and purchased new baseboards, painted and installed them flawlessly. Not to mention, the tile and hardwood floor is completely flush, the exact same height!! Can I say again - everything is perfect! Alfredo has since followed up with me a couple of times just to check in to see how things are going. In my experience, this type of customer care is very rare. I would 100% recommend Alfredo to anyone looking to get floor work done!! I could not be happier with the quality of work and the service he provided. I'm so happy he found us!

Run while you can and avoid the same costly mistake of flushing thousands of dollars down the toilet. It is a shame too, as they were nice and tried, but ultimately the poor quality of flooring installed, coupled with their lack of response and ownership has forced me to write a critical review so that others don't suffer the same fate.

Our vinyl floor planks started peeling/lifting at the joints in certain areas of the house after 6…read moremonths. He replaced them. 6 months later they started peeling again. He blamed them on house movement. Said he would contact the mfg. Never heard from him again after multiple attempts to contact him. I suspect it was due to the thin planks we chose which was lower cost. But we would have happily paid more for reliability. He should have provided better guidance. See attached for example of the degradation. We've been using packaging tape to keep it down and prevent any foot injury. It eventually degrades and we have to deal also with the sticky residue. Ugggh! Also per the plumber we hired recently, Greg's crew also did not reinstall the toilets correctly for the upstairs bathroom. They should have used a double wax ring. This caused a leak in our garage ceiling. Double uggh and yuck. He's a nice guy and all, but I would not recommend him.
