We selected the bronze finish and it looks wonderful as part of the style of the house. We also did a picture window for the middle window of a set of one of the bay windows. We tried another well known window installer but they were more expensive and they did not offer the bronze finish. The windows are functioning very well.

While I was at it I decided to have them professionally cleaned via ultrasonic method recommended by the manufacturer. I had no first hand recommendations but called 5 companies I found on the Internet, including Yelp. Two of the companies could not fit me in to their schedule for 3-7 weeks and I left messages for the others. The owner of Bright 'N Clean called me back right away and said he was in the neighborhood and would stop by THAT DAY to give me a price quote. Upon inspection he told me he would take the blinds back to his shop, have them cleaned and reinstalled with new hardware in 1-2 days. The process was quick, the price competitive and the blinds were beautifully cleaned. I highly recommend Bright 'N Clean and would use them again.

When the person came for installation, the top lock seemed to stick somewhat badly, making it difficult to turn and lock/unlock, whereas the original lock had aligned quite well. He asked me for some WD-40, which I fortunately had, and applied that and insisted it'd be fine within a day or so. After several days...it still wasn't. I had paid cash per request and was a bit nervous, but was ultimately able to get them back out to adjust the lock so that it closed properly a few days later. The repair/reinstallation didn't take much time, and left me wondering a bit why it couldn't have been done properly the first time, but hey, ultimately they fixed it and it works fine now, so really no harm.

This is not normal wear and tear -- it is clearly a defect caused by cheap materials and poor workmanship. I contacted Rosa immediately, multiple times, asking for help and a solution. I was completely ignored. No support, no inspection, no replacement, no accountability. Customer service was non-existent. Today, 2 out of the 4 doors are completely destroyed, despite being used in a normal indoor environment. Doors should last decades, not fail after a few weeks. This company sells low-quality products and then disappears when problems arise. Very unprofessional, very disappointing, and a waste of money. I strongly advise against buying anything from them.

So after 2 summers of using store bought, clunky, ugly, self-adjusting screens and STILL having assorted critters sneaking in I decided to have my own made. They provide 2 pricing options - 1. They come to you to measure then deliver and install for an additional service fee 2. Or, you can call, provide your own measurements and pick up when ready. I chose the latter because it was significantly cheaper ($200)! PLEASE NOTE- measurement process is tricky if you don't know where to measure, plus no refunds if you measured wrong! Luckily, I borrowed my neighbor's screens to bring in and measure against. Even if you choose option 1, LWP gave me the best quote over 4 other companies I called. For 4 double-hung style window screens, I was quoted between $600-$1000 compared to LWP's quote of $450 for an in-home visit. Nancy and Marisol are so patient and helpful with explaining the process. I cannot sing their praises enough. The quality of the doors themselves and the installers they sent are top notch. The installers were most professional in their work and did not rush the job at all. The cleaned and swept everything before they left. It's a challenge to live in a tiny Manhattan studio and working and moving around that space can be difficult. There is not a mark on the walls or woodwork anywhere.
