My husband called Topline to replace gutter pipe and fix part of our roof. The workers were professional, on time and cleaned up nicely. Price was reasonable and done as promised. We found a small leak and consulted with Topline again and they sent someone in the next day to look at it. Six years ago, Topline installed beautiful windows in my house. I was and am extremely happy with the results. However, due to the way my own contractor installed my windowsills, a handle on a casement snaped, recently, When I called Topline someone was in my house within the hour and the handle was replaced free of charge. So, when my neighbors and I needed to fix the combined roof of our semi-detached houses Topline was the only choice. It was the best experience I've ever had with construction. From the beginning estimate to the last clean-up Topline exceeded all expectations. Jimmy was efficient and honest in his assessment of the roof's condition. He laid out our choices without pressure, including a very easy patch possibility. We decided to replace the whole roof and were very glad we did. The price was extremely reasonable for the very high quality of work and the professionalism of the work crew. They were prompt hard working and respectful. They used tarps so effectively that there was very minimum debris. And the final cleaning was superb. The outside looks better than it did when they started. As for the roof it's gorgeous! Great company. Nothing more to say. They put in my front windows ten years ago and theyre still in wonderful condition. I recently had them put in a front door, and storm door. Again, they did a wonderful job. The craftsmanship is seem less, and high quality work. You get what you pay for and with home construction i do not like to be cheap. I used them to side my carriage house. It was complicated only because the carriage house bordered to condo property which required very exact proof of insurance. TopLine was very professional and patient as we got the two condo boards satisfied. We had 5 windows installed a year and a half ago, and I wish I could say I am thrilled, but not really. I'll start with the ordering/installation. Three windows went off without a hitch; two were somewhat problematic. We have a very large living room window that opens to a fire escape. Tom special-ordered this window for us, which we appreciated. But when it got here, his team installed it and then let us know that the screen would be unremovable. As it's a fire escape window, that was not acceptable. His team told us the choice was either no screen, or a screen that does not open. Since that was not what we ordered, we had to call the owner; he kind of gave us a hard time but finally agreed to order a different model. The other problem window was the bathroom. Our old window had a clear top and an obscured bottom. When they installed the new window, both pieces were obscured. Since we had asked to have as close to the old window as possible, we assumed the top would be clear. Again, we kind of had to argue with Tom, but to his credit, he resolved it by ordering a clear top window. As for long-term usage, four of the windows are great. They open and close easliy and are aligned. However, the living room window, which felt awfully tight when we they installed it, is now very difficult to move up and down (to be fair, this may be due to its large size or building settling). Finally, the screens: the netting tears easily. On the plus side, we do like the 4 windows that work well (they are easy to open and close and easy to clean) and the price was much more reasonable than the estimate we got from Home Depot. We appreciated that Tom replaced the two windows that were problematic upon installation, but it would have been great if communication were clearer from the start: 1) screen will not open; 2) upper bathroom window will not be clear. Next time we'll ask more questions and get more specifics upon ordering. read more

Went with this company without doing too much research. After paying a deposit and getting a written invoice, they ordered the wrong windows. Tom did not want to finish the job correctly. Only after a huge argument, and me having to prove what windows we ordered with documentation, they finally came back a month later. Before starting the job I also checked with Tom if, after the windows are replaced, more work will need to be done around the frames. He said absolutely not. When they finished, they left 1-2inch gaps between the siding and the new frames, which he said was going to cost extra to close these gaps to keep the rain out. If I have to have extra work done, I will hire someone who is not a liar. Overall, I found them to not care about the customer, be dishonest and not very competent. If you want to avoid a sloppy job and a headache, this is not a company you want to get involved with. read more

We are return customers. Recently we hired Topline for new roofing. We have used Topline on a few other occasions to install two small windows and a storm door. One very important thing to me is that my mom feels comfortable with whomever I hire. Each time, Tom has come to provide an estimate. He has always been kind to my mom which means the world to me. Our final cost has never exceeded the estimate he provided. I wanted a Bay Window and was debating whether I would go with a big place like Home Depot or Lowes. I got a card in the mail from Topline and they offer a free estimate, so I called them. They sent a rep within an hour. They sent Tom to my home and he sat down and spoke to myself and my husband. As he answered our questions I felt, wow, this is this guys business and he knows his stuff. He made us feel confident in his experience. To be fair I also spoke with someone from one of the large stores and the sales rep was not able to answer our questions nor could they give us a price unless we paid to have someone come to our home, which I did, and still was not quoted a price. We decided to go with Topline. We did not regret out decision. My father came to see the window(he's worked in home repair) and he said these guys did a great job!
