I got an hour massage, but honestly I was done after 5 minutes. Three different times he completely walked away mid massage to go talk to her, he was yelling (furiously) something to her as she was on the phone. Do these people not care about customers and keeping business? I should have walked away 5 minutes in. The massage itself was almost done by a non professional. I am curious if this man is even licensed. He lazily brushed his hands against me, and there was zero technique. Here is an even bigger kicker. When I got to paying, I really did not want to tip - but I figured I will tip $5 since not tipping feels wrong; but they didn't even deserve a penny - even for the massage itself, forget the tipping. When I gave this man $35 cash, he started mumbling something and pointing to credit card machine. I figured he wants me to pay I'm card and tip on cash so I said ok. After he used my card for now $31 ($1 fee I guess for cards) I gave him the $5, only to have him start yelling and write down $15 on a piece of paper!!!! Yes this man was demanding I tip him $15 for his crappy unprofessional job!!!! I told him that tipping is my choice and frankly he doesn't even deserve $1 and walked out. Unbefuckenlievable. Does it really cost that much to fix a broken booking system? Also, if Trung (who appeared old enough to be retired) is being assigned physically demanding reflexology sessions because it's cheaper or more convenient for the business, that's not a great look either. If this is an ongoing issue, it honestly makes booking here feel unreliable no matter how good your therapists are. ------------------------- Previous review: Why have an online booking system that lets clients choose a provider if the assigned therapist isn't actually guaranteed? I specifically booked a one-hour foot reflexology session with Jackson, but was assigned to Trung instead upon arrival. Trung was kind, but he appeared much older and didn't have the strength I was expecting for a reflexology session, so the experience wasn't what I booked for. I still tipped because I felt bad that he was working at his age. We waited till our room set up was cleaned and ready. They put us in a draped area next to the reception area and you can hear traffic outside, people coming in and out of the shop. Hard to relax even with the soothing music The two ladies that did our massages seemed good but then my masseuse took my legs and pushed all the way back hard and my knee tweaked. I didn't think much of it- but I play pickleball daily and now my knee is killing me so I need to take time off I did like the back massage especially with the hot stones- but to me there are plenty of other places in West LA that are very good so I won't be back- especially because of my knee pain
