The good was great, the beer selection was solid, and the fact that they have a pet area and a playground are big Ws.

I'm surprised I hadn't left a review yet. Great local brewery. Lots of varieties. Steady favorites available all the time, fun seasonal to look forward to, plus some interesting one-offs. Trivia tonight was a blast. Most days there is either music or an event. Basic bar menu that rotates. I think they're finished having the food truck rotation, instead having a dedicated cook/chef on staff. If it's your first time or the first time in a while, go for a flight to check out some variety. They also have cider, mimosas, wine, and seltzers on tap. No white claw here... all craft made! Great outdoor space, plus darts inside.

We took a walk after lunch and came to visit BVB. I've had their beers before but this is my first time to the brewery. I got a flight, my fiancé got the cherrie lime seltzer. The seltzer was refreshing and not overly sweet. We sampled the watermelon jalapeño seltzer too (I like it), but she preferred the cherrie lime and I got the beer. The texas two step Pilsner was really flavorful. If you've not had it, like me, give it a try. And of course you can't go wrong with Momma Tried, their flagship beer. I'm sorry to say I don't remember the gentleman helping us at the bar, but he's genuinely friendly and we had some fun conversation with him. If you're in Brenham, and it's not a Monday or Tuesday (I think they're closed to the public then but double check), go check it out!

Service is good, very clean and nice cold beer. Very good ambiance and fresh food. I will stop by every time I'm driving near by.

Enjoyed a fun evening of trivia while having plenty of delicious snacks and drinks. The trivia is free, played with your phone. The food truck was fast and tasty. There's a nice playscape in the back, and cornhole in the side yard. Misters around the outdoor picnic tables.

Nice service and good selection of beer. Our favorite was a coffee flavored ale. You can get flights or pints and on certain days listening to some music. They do have some pretzels and charcuterie boards for purchase. They did have games, but all were broken or missing all the pieces. Maybe get new ones and do a sign out system...?

Fun, lively, local brewery taproom with a cool tap line, a biergarten, and live music is a hopping and happening place to be in Brenham on a a Friday night! (Not sorry for the beer brewing pun - ha!) We stopped in for a case of beers to take back to Dallas, but if we were not having to drive a few more hours to our destination we'd have grabbed a bench and stayed a while!! They know what they are going here at BVB, and it shows in the beer. They have a wide variety of styles - something for everyone! 5 have a beer and make y out r self at home with your newest friends stars

GREAT find while out enjoying Brenham! The selection of drinks in general is amazing! Bloody Mary's, beer, wine, etc! Our favorites are the Brown Eyed Girl and 7 Spanish Angels. Went on a Saturday and found great live country music and a nice, shaded area outside that is pet friendly! LOVE this place!

Really enjoyed the seating and atmosphere at BVBC. It's a great spot for the family to bring kiddos or doggy and enjoy an afternoon. The day we were there there was a crawfish food truck and it was VERY good. It is my understanding that there is a food truck option most days, as well as snacks served in-house. I've heard good things about the pretzel, but haven't tried it. My biggest disappointment was in the beer. My husband and I each had a flight and had difficulty finding a beer we both liked. Many of the beers tasted skunky. We did each find one we liked and had a few together outside on a gorgeous day.

We are admittedly beer snobs from Colorado where there's a brewery on every corner. When we travel we like to check out local breweries and we were in Brenham for a wedding. We popped into Brazos Valley Brewery to check it out. Very cool atmosphere, great beers and yummy food! We were very impressed and the service was great. A good variety of beers on tap and even some seltzer's. I did a flight and tried a few beers. The Hazy IPA was quite good- that's a tough beer to get right. The pretzel was the biggest we've ever seen and so delicious. Great spot!

If you're all about the IPAs and porter style beer, you're gonna enjoy BVBC. I've dropped in a few times when in the area, and the best time to visit is on a cooler day since it's mainly outdoors / patio. They offer flights / tastings, patio games, it's dog friendly, kiddos allowed.

Pretty good! I yelp this place on my way to Austin and I enjoyed it. The beer ranges from ipa to blondes to a Belgium so you can't go wrong. Plenty of parking and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This place is also dog friendly so a good family friendly chill spot...

Cute little brewing co. Indoor and outdoor seating. The beer selection is good, has a lil somethin for everyone. They also offer their beers canned to-go. We'll def be back when we're out that way again.

You order right at the bar (which is kinda fun because you get to peek at all the drink options). Inside is a little tight, not gonna lie but they've got a solid outdoor setup with plenty of seating. Looks like they even have fire pits, which I'm sure hits different when you've got time to hang and sip a few. Even though it was busy, service moved pretty quick and everyone was still friendly, which I always appreciate. And the food? So good. The tuna nachos came out looking all colorful and pretty, but the flavor combo is what really stole the show. Definitely a spot I'd swing back to next time I'm in Round Top.

It was hot out and stores were staring to close, so we came here for some drinks and food to escape the heat. Of the several times that we've been to Round Top, we had never been to Round Top Brewing and were pleasantly surprised...by everything. The spot is cute and cozy--nothing fancy and plenty of charm that isn't too forced. We ordered food and drinks at the bar and then sat in their indoor patio area (no A/C but tolerable circulation with the fans). They make their own beer, and we both enjoyed the kolsch that we stuck with for the evening. As far as food, we shared a giant pretzel and our daughter got a plain pizza. The pizza is that cardboardesque version, but it was edible. The pretzel was decent, but definitely a frozen-to-oven situation. What we *do* want to shout out is the mustard it came with. It was SO good. We asked if it was homemade, and it allegedly was: so spicy and nasal-clearing and tasty. The mustard alone is what is pushing up from 3 stars to four! Bottom line: nothing crazy special, but a good place with friendly folks working and decent food and drink. Prices are consistent with the area, and it's certainly better than Mandito's and it beats the chaos of Royer's. We won't be back, but we're glad we tried it.

We told the guy at the counter it was our first time, and he asked us what type of beer we usually like. He even let us try a sample before we made our choice, which was super helpful. It's built inside a historic garage, and you can still see the brewing equipment from the taproom, which gives the place a cool industrial feel. Plenty of indoor seating, a nice patio, and it just feels like somewhere you could hang out for a few hours. I ordered the SMASH Burger and made it a double. That was my mistake. The burger itself was excellent, hot, fresh, juicy, and cooked just right, but my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach. The single would have been the perfect size for me. No complaints about the food at all. The beer was delicious too. They had a wide variety of lagers, IPAs, sours, and even a barrel-aged stout, so there was something for just about everyone. I appreciate breweries that don't make everything an IPA. Overall, I was really impressed. What started as an unplanned stop because of a billboard turned into one of the highlights of the drive.
