    Picanha lomo saltado
    Anmol R.

I have been to the Brazuca food truck countless times. I love Brazilian BBQ so I had to try this spot and I have been hooked since the first time. I usually get the picanha lomo saltado. Their picanha is always juicy and tender with the right amount of fat. The fries are well cooked and i love the addition of the tangy biquinho peppers. This time I also got the quesadilla which was bomb. It's surprisingly not heavy and the Catupiry (Brazilian cheese spread) is so cheesy and yummy, a bit like cream cheese. Highly recommend this spot!

I lived in this neighborhood for a while and only tried it today. The Picanha steak + rice was very tasty. The meat was flavorful and not dry. There was a type of tiny tomato that they put in it that was tangy. I love it and will come back.

Bowlzuca with garlic chicken Taco combo (veggies + picanha)

Brazuca Grill is my obvious answer to lunch when I'm in the Dogpatch neighborhood on a weekday. - Bowlzuca: So much variety in a single bowl! From beans to an egg (fried to your preference) to your protein of choice, you won't get bored eating this. The garlic chicken was soft, tender, and flavorful and the accompanying salsa really brought it all together. - Taco combo: $4 extra for yucca fries, but don't underestimate them! They're sizable, delicious, and gone too soon. I think the veggie taco comes with some kind of black bean mix, but the steak taco was my standout, especially when dipped in the cream sauce. The food truck is located on 22nd and Indiana, which is near Woods Yard Park, a great place to peacefully enjoy your lunch!

    Brazilian fried rice

I got the fried rice and I wasn't expecting the food to be as delicious as it was to be honest. The meat was super tender and juicy and the salsa on top really balanced out the heaviness of the fried rice and cheese. The flavors went so well together and I devoured my food wishing that I had more just because it tasted so good. I ordered beforehand and it only took 15 minutes to be prepared and be ready for me to pick up and the food was still warm. I will definitely be coming back here to try the other items on the menu.

A Brazilian food truck that has some fusion options like tacos, burritos, quesadillas and fried rice. They also have bowls which seem more traditionally Brazilian. I really liked the chef's specialty of Brazilian Fried Rice, which I never had before. Picanha Bowlzuca: Reminded me a little of lomo saltado, except without the fries. Big cuts of tasty sirloin with red onions and tomato chunks in a nice sauce. Also, there were some not-that-spicy little pickled peppers too. Really great taste. Not a huge portion though, so you'll probably end just eating rice, beans and fried egg in your last few bites. Brazilian Fried Rice: Basically everything thrown into fried rice then wrapped in a melted cheese shell. The crispy browned cheese was a big differentiator compared to normal fried rice. Lots of different meats and a bunch of black beans. And some nice sauces on top. Think I liked this mishmash here more than the bowlzuca, which had everything separated.

Wowww... soooo yummy. I thought this meal was good. I ordered tacos! I think the mixture and combination of flavors make for a memorable meal. Will definitely be ordering again. The truck sits right next to my apartment building and I smell the food each time I walk past with my dog. I finally ordered and wasn't disappointed. I think I'd need to try it a few more times. Although it was delicious, I feel as though I may have a few other favorites in the city. But that won't stop me from ordering again sometime.

Brazilian Fried Rice (cheese bun was an add on)

Brazuca's truck caught our eye during the craft fair at Pier 70 this weekend. We got the quesadilla, a cheese bun, and the Brazilian fried rice. The quesadilla was perfectly cooked and flavorful. There was nothing that was especially Brazilian about this quesadilla but we didn't really mind since it was so good - it was something you'd expect at a top notch Mexican place. The fried rice (pictured) was being marketed as an especially Brazilian dish - it was $17 and has good portion size. We couldn't finish it one sitting and took it home. In terms of flavor, we appreciated the fried cheese on top of the rice but the mixture of meat (beef, pork, AND chicken) was a bit too overwhelming for us. Maybe we should have just asked for one meat and not the default mix. Overall a good experience and the staff on the truck were very friendly!

Pulled pork burger with an egg $13.00. I'll do w/o the egg next time.

Be expecting loads of awesome flavors from anything off their menu. The food is always cooked to your likings and never UNDERCOOKED! Most people that are not hip to well seasoned food will always talk down about any restaurant they encounter. But you won't have to worry about that here. My coworkers and I have never gotten sick or had any loose bowls after stuffing our faces with anything off the menu from their truck. The customer service is tip too. They treat all and new customers as family. The line to wait is just minutes and we'll worth it. The bad part is that you'll want to keep coming back for more. HANG OVER??? This family knows the cure to that issue. The pulled pork is to die for!!!

Before you've even had any meat, they've got the biggest salad bar you've ever seen with more options than you can imagine. It's a feat in itself to try not to fill yourself up with just sides. They start you off with hot, fresh pao de queijo at your table, they had a chef off to the side making incredible feijoada, and I had a plate full of charcuterie, sauteed vegetables, and fruit...and I hadn't even turned my medallion over to green to start the meat coming! So I was already a happy camper, and then the skewers and the swords came and took me to hog heaven. All the meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. And they really kept it coming. Had to cut them off before my plate overflowed. Each time I thought I had enough, they came out with something new that I HAD to try. I thought I would finish with the rare rib-eye (my favorite), but of course I had to have one more, so I ended on the rack of lamb, which was to die for. Our server, Eder, was charming and wonderful. He really took care of us and made us feel right at home. He told us stories of his trips back home to Brazil which really added to the experience. He told us all about feijoada and how it's made, and was so kind and generous to my two daughters...It's that kind of personal touch that's lacking at restaurants these days. It felt warm and classic, like how service used to be. Many thanks, Eder! An upscale, Vegas-style AYCE experience, right in the heart of SF with fantastic service. What could be better? Everyone was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel taken care of throughout the entire meal. It wasn't just dinner, it felt like an experience. We scheduled the delivery for 9:20 a.m., but by 8:40 a.m. the app showed it had already been delivered. The problem? There was no food at our hotel room. I tried contacting the delivery driver by text, but never received a response. It was incredibly frustrating, especially after leaving a generous tip. We later found out the driver had left the food at the hotel but never told the front desk which room it was for, even though they had all of the delivery information. As a result, our food just sat there until we eventually had to go down and get it ourselves. In the end, I paid for a delivery service that I never actually received. Instead of enjoying the convenience we paid for, we had to track down our own order. Based on this experience, I would not recommend paying for delivery. If you're ordering from this restaurant, save your money and pick it up yourself. I paid for a service, but I did not receive what I paid for. Then to make it worse the breakfast sandwich was just OK. Nothing to write home to mom about. To say the least we will not be ordering her again and would not recommend this restaurant.

I thought the stew would be a soup, but it was a steamed piece of yucca, which was not bad. I learned what it was after ordering it. Also, yucca flour is literal flour that is in a small ramekin that you would sprinkle on all your other food items. I am pointing this out to anyone who is a first-timer at a Brazilian restaurant. I experienced, got schooled, and passing the knowledge to you. As the previous reviewer said, the pot of chili in oil on the table is fire, so eat in moderation. It has fantastic flavor but is very, very spicy. All the dishes were unique and tasty except for the beef kabob, which was overcooked steak on a stick.

Matt had been talking about Brazilian steakhouse every time he saw something that reminded him remotely of Fogo de Chao, so I figured this opportunity might be of interest to him. Come to find out that the day after I make the reservation he asks if I'd be willing to go a Brazilian steakhouse for the long weekend, so I got to surprise him with the fact that I already had a reservation. I'm not the biggest fan of Fogo de Chao based on my prior experiences there. I do believe that I have been to a Show de Carnes location before and had another great experience, but also Show de Carnes's Memorial Day promotion was slightly better than Fogo's and I much preferred that their location was outside of the city even if on the other side of the bridge. I did have to call the morning of to delay our reservation slightly, but it was taken care of for us without hassle. We even got seated closer to the original reservation time when we ended up running early. There isn't much space to wait in the front lobby area especially on a packed night, but everything looks very upscale from the wine bottles on the wall to the crystals above the self-serve side buffet. As far as mandatory meats, I have a couple of personal rules when it comes to Brazilian steakhouse, including go light on the sides and only go for the beef. Picanha is my favorite, extra rare too, so I made myself a whole pincanha meat salad while probably giving the guy cutting the meat a good scare. The grilled pineapple is also a must, followed by the cheese and honey. Matt got a lot more variety but it takes a while for the guys to come around with meat that has already been sliced up some so I can get to the parts that I like. We got a papaya cream and passion fruit mousse for dessert, which we probably really didn't need but enjoyed thoroughly as we are both dessert people. As it was a busy night, it was not too easy to flag a server down. I saw picanhas skip our table left and right so I'm not sure there's an established route for them to bring the meat around. The staff did seem to work together with great teamwork, and someone always stopped by to make sure we had more water and our choice of sides. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone that is a protein or all you can eat fan. The regular price per person is definitely steep in my humble opinion, but if you can catch a promo it'll be a great time. Also, don't choose between still or sparkling, ask for tap. I will not be getting got again next time.

Hidden gem shoulda come here sooner ... -* note: very small patio can fit a few groups * they cater * they serve big steak here * they serve big salads * parking not easy

Inside, there is only enough room to place your order - the few tables they have are outside in their garden area. I got the peanut butter acai bowl. They also have an assortment of Brazilian pastries that all looked amazing so we got an assortment of savory pastries to try. They brought those out nice and toasted and they were delicious and cheesy on the inside. My acai bowl hit the spot - beautifully arranged with a great ratio of fresh fruit, granola, and chilled creamy acai with the flavor of peanut butter mixed in - it made for a sweet, yet healthy lunch. Would definitely come back.

My party of 3 dined here on a Saturday for a little girls night and snagged a reservation on short notice (just a day prior). Honestly, the experience was underwhelming. We ordered a pao de queijo to start with two entrees to share. The pao de queijo, coming with just three measly balls, was dense, dry, and far from worth the hefty $8 price tag. The pao de queijo at Fogo De Chao is far superior which is not saying much, but at the very least, the famed Brazilian BBQ restaurant chain offers their bread gratis. The two entrees we ordered were the seafood stew and half rotisserie chicken. I'll admit the chicken was wonderfully cooked with every morsel succulent and juicy. But, the bed of rice was a tad too overcooked and the scant vegetables left the cohesive whole disappointing. Again, the seafood stew was underwhelming and the pilaf-esque rice seemed to make up the bulk of the "stew." I'm not sure if I'd dub seafood atop an oz or two of gravy as stew but perhaps stew is a subjective term.

We were there on a Friday afternoon and our bartender Jaques took great care of us making us feel welcomed. We ordered the pao de quiejo, which had a crispy crust and cheese gooey center as well as the beef kibbeh as our appetizers. Both hit the spot just right with our drinks. Will love to come back for a full dinner service as their menu was really fun and even included vegan items.
