Can't do justice to the multitude of meats you'll be able to try here so I'll review the lesser known items on their menu! Highly recommend trying at least one slice from each meat so you know what to get seconds for. Personally, I found the Picanha to be one of my favorites! 4/5 - Cheese and Honey - Best to eat this fast as once the cheese cools it can harden and not be as soft as that first bite you take. You can ask for more honey on top if they circle back around. One of the best side dishes! 5/5 - Key Lime Pie - Soft and sweet! You'll enjoy choosing this as a dessert to top off your dinner experience. It might not look like a big slice, but you'll still find it quite filling! 5/5 - Cheesecake Brulee - Same with the key lime pie. The strawberry sauce was not too sweet or strong. Looks very aesthetic and also comes with great flavor. 5/5 - Caramelized Pineapple Old Fashioned - The strongest tasting cocktail that we tried. Still tastes like the classic old fashioned you've had but definitely one to sip while you chat at dinner. Highly recommend this drink! 5/5 - Premium Caipirinha (Traditional) - A great lime-flavored cocktail that is also fun to drink at lunch or dinner. If you like Cachaca, I recommend trying this out! It's not a cocktail you typically get at other bars. 5/5 - Yellowbird - Fruity flavor profiles complement the Blanco well and the design of the drink matches its name. If you like passion fruit and pineapple, you won't be disappointed.

Another great dinner at Fogo. There's a SF Restaurant week dinner promotion for $59. It is the same as "The Best of Fogo" deal $59. They now have an "All Day Happy Hour" menu with $10 cocktails and $6 beers. Separately, there's a "The Trilogy Collection", three bottles of house wine deal for $99. Their house wine is pretty good. Our favorite meat was the picanha, prime sirloin. Well, all the meats were pretty good. Love Fogo! Great job everyone. Special thanks to our waiters that never stopped refilling our water and wine. The extra sauces they gave us like chimichurri were all terrific. Such a beautiful restaurant.

Dropped in with my brother on a Tuesday for their $18 lunch buffet after seeing it advertised on social media and now I have added it to my rotation of best lunch deals in the city. It includes high-end items like aged cheeses, smoked salmon, charcuterie, and fresh hearts of palm that go far beyond a standard salad bar. All of the side dishes from the yucca fries to the caramelized bananas, and garlic mashed potatoes were delicious and quickly disappeared off their plates. Service was amazing with our drinks quickly refilled and our used plates cleared promptly without us having to ask. I'm offically hooked and will be back again soon for more!

What an amazing experience! Good: - I came here with a gift card from Costco, super worth it! - The salad buffet was amazing! So many options and it's unlimited - The single churrasco is more than enough, and the staff keep coming by to give you more slices of picanha and lamb picanha - Loved the fruit options, papaya cantaloupe, you name it - Love the cheesy bread as always, it definitely fills you up quickly! - The waiters brought us mashed potatoes and banana and other appetizers that were all so tasty. - Feels upscale and fancy for a date - Portion sizes are perfect, you won't be hungry after this Bad: - Can be pricey, but we got a good deal with Costco Overall this was a unique experience that I will be back for more for!

Came in for a late lunch and I was surprised by how limited the selection of food was. The salad bar was the same and great but I come here for the table side service. They bring out large portions of side dishes without asking if you even want them which some of them I didn't which I hate wasting food so I didn't love that. I ordered a lemonade that was excellent and didn't know that I'd be charged for a refill when the server asked if I wanted another one. Usually drinks like lemonade have refills included and it would have been nice to be informed about that before another one came. The food was high quality but the limitations were surprising. The pineapple that comes at places like this is one of my favorite parts of Brazilian BBQ and I was shocked it wasn't part of the experience. The lunch price wasn't much better than the dinner. If I come back I'd wait out for the dinner with the broader selection.

Went to Fogo de Chão for the $59 all-you-can-eat deal and honestly for the price I can't complain. My favorites were the picanha and the grilled pineapple. The meal also came with sides like fried bananas and mashed potatoes, which were just okay in my opinion. One small complaint is that we felt a little rushed at times. But the servers themselves were very nice overall, so we still had a good experience.

I visited this establishment for a weekday dinner in one of the private rooms, however the main dining area did not seem too busy at the time. The servers were polite and attentive throughout my dining experience. In addition to the usual meat carving and buffet style salad bar, a nice touch was having the seafood appetizer with lobster, crab, shrimp, and mussels. The meat service was as expected but I did notice the meats each felt a bit dry. I am a frequent diner at Espetus so I was a bit shocked at how dry each cut of meat was. For dessert, we decided to each order a different dessert and share so we got to try a little bit of each. We got the cheesecake brûlée, crème brûlée, chocolate molten cake, chocolate brigadeiro, and key lime pie; each of them were great and saved the meal for me. I would go back if I was in the area and would like to share the desserts again, but I think I would prefer to go to Espetus if I was craving Brazilian bbq.

I had high expectations for Fogo de Chão given its premium price point, but unfortunately, the experience did not fully meet them. While the quality of the food was good overall, the variety of meats served to our table felt somewhat limited. We were offered the same cuts repeatedly, and some items, such as the chicken hearts, were only brought out after we specifically requested them. One of the standout cuts of the evening was served around 9:00 PM, by which time we were already quite full and unable to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. Additionally, the chocolate molten cake was underwhelming and did not live up to expectations. I've had more satisfying experiences at other Brazilian steakhouses, especially considering the cost. While the meal was enjoyable in some respects, I expected a more consistent and memorable dining experience.

The restaurant was beautiful. Crowded dining area. I felt like I was bumping into servers others diners too. Our Server was Mia. She was sweet and helpful. We were a group of 14. Excited to Dine at this restaurant. We wanted the Brazilian experience. Which would include 5 different meat cuts. The meat cut that was brought out the most was a sirloin cut. Most of our meal was the same meat cut. It was very very rare. We asked several times if we could have a meat more medium. That didn't happen. So we ate mostly the salad bar. Salad bar was excellent. However there were fruit flies in the restaurant. That was a bit annoying while eating. By the time different meat cuts were offered we were full. So it definitely wasn't experience we were looking for. There's always room for improvement.

The concept of unlimited meat is amazing if you're a carnivore and many of the cuts were excellent. That said, some of the seasonings were inconsistent, which was a bit of a letdown given the reputation. The gentleman serving the meat was excellent and explained everything, but the front desk staff weren't very welcoming. Convenient location and great for meat lovers, but service can be hit or miss.

this place is too good. I mean, for AYCE price, very much worth it because there are expensive and unique foods all around as well as the experience of having the meats cut in front of you to your liking. whether you got a vegetarian or a meat lover's dish, everything was delicious and the presentation was elegant. staff was so welcoming from when you walk through the doors to wait for a table and even when you are seated to see which meats you want on your plate. conversations eased into the service smoothly where it did not feel forced or rushed. really enjoyed getting to speak to each staff member who came around our table to serve food, re-up on beverages, and ask how everything is going. dim lighting, so hard to capture a nice photo. super duper tight with the tables, so you can hear the conversations of other parties and you consistently bump into staff members when you scoot your chair out to get up. bathroom was soooo clean, omg. took time to really admire the decorations going on with the mirrors and stalls. I was just in awe everywhere that I was walking, which is especially difficult when everyone keeps humping into one another I took a bunch of selfies bc I felt pretty n cute, hehes and lols

The quality is always on point (you get what you pay for) and the process is easy to preorder. The main thing to plan for is the long wait in line to pick up your preorder. In prior years, I've usually picked up on Christmas Eve and the wait can exceed 90 mins to 2 hours depending on when you arrive - this is the case even when you doorbust at opening time. We walked into a traditional, old-school space with a strong sense of occasion, from the elegant dining room to the tableside presentation that makes the experience feel special from the moment we sat down. The room has a timeless quality, with dark wood, white tablecloths, and a warm, refined atmosphere that works well for celebrations, date nights, or any time you want a memorable meal rather than a quick dinner. The highlight is, of course, the prime rib, which is served from large silver roasting carts brought directly to the table. The meat is carved fresh to order, and guests can choose different cuts depending on appetite. We ordered the King Henry VIII cut, a generous portion that more than lived up to its name. The prime rib is known for being tender, juicy, and flavorful, and ours delivered on that reputation, with a rich beef flavor that paired especially well with classic accompaniments like creamed spinach, creamed corn, and Yorkshire pudding. The meal feels very traditional, leaning into the comfort and nostalgia of a classic American steakhouse, and the pacing of the courses lets you settle into the experience without feeling rushed. The sides are a major part of the experience too. The spinning salad bowl prepared tableside adds to the old-school charm, with the dressing mixed in front of you and the cold, crisp greens providing a refreshing contrast to the rich main course. The baked potato and other sides help round out the generous portions, and the Yorkshire pudding, light and airy, soaks up the au jus beautifully. The restaurant also has a strong cocktail program, with martinis being a popular choice to complete the classic steakhouse vibe. Service is another standout, with attentive staff who help guide the experience from start to finish. Our server was knowledgeable about the cuts and preparation, and the team moved with the kind of polished efficiency that comes from years of practice. Reservations can be difficult to secure, and the popularity means planning ahead is usually necessary, but the full experience, from the atmosphere to the tableside carving, is what makes House of Prime Rib feel like a San Francisco institution. House of Prime Rib delivers a timeless steakhouse experience with excellent prime rib, generous portions, and a memorable presentation. It is less about chasing trends and more about enjoying a tradition that has remained popular for decades, offering a meal that feels both celebratory and deeply satisfying.

My partner's Bird of Paradise bamboozled us with its clarified coconut milk - so wild to drink something CLEAR that tasted so much like a piña colada! Our other two party members had NA drinks that were also nuanced and delicious. I will very eagerly come back whenever I have the opportunity!

Came with a group , we all enjoyed our meal, appetizers were mostly cold items (shell fish)…read more Someone was hoping for calamari or something cooked. Presentation on all meals were nice. Steaks were cooked perfectly service was good. Wasnt blown away by the meal but was very good. Would recommend

The menu reads like a greatest hits of comfort food - steak, burger, truffle fries, mac & cheese…read more But there's a recurring theme here: a shocking fear of salt. Filet Mignon is Medium Rare Perfection... Beautiful pink center, warm red ring, crust that had a nice sear. The Bordelaise sauce was rich, slightly sweet, and had that deep red-wine reduction thing going on. But the steak itself had zero salt. The sauce tried its best, but a steak shouldn't need to be drowned to have flavor. M&L Burger. Juicy, But Also... Juicy? That's It. But again: no seasoning. The beef itself was bland. There was a bacon jam or sauce on it that added some smokiness, but when I took a bite without it (just to test), I was met with... nothing. Just wet, unseasoned meat. Parmesan Truffle Fries were legit, crispy, hot, tossed in enough parmesan and truffle. The portion was huge (feeds 2-3 easily). Black Truffle Mac & Cheese. First few bites? Creamy, luxurious, black truffle shavings. But by the fourth or fifth forkful, it got heavy. Missing acid. A little hit of something sour like lemon, would have saved it. Also, the pasta was overcooked. Peaches & Crème Tart was Aggressively sour. The peaches were fine, but the yuzu sauce underneath was so overwhelmingly acidic that it felt like a prank. My face scrunched up like I'd bitten into a live battery. The crème was there somewhere, but it got completely bulldozed. One bite was enough. I left the rest. My dentist would approve. If you do go, order the fries, bring your own salt grinder, and skip the tart unless you enjoy punishment. Service was great btw.
