Gotta rep my favorite cafe with their tote bag!
    Victoria W.

Café de Casa has been my favorite cafe in San Francisco for yeaaaaars. Every location, south city and both SF locations, has its own unique flare. The pastries never disappoint. My classic favorites are the coxinha for a savory treat and a enroladinho de queijo for dessert. You can also never go wrong with the Açaí bowl with peanut butter. The presentation of the bowl is always so fancy. Throughout the years I've noticed the same servers. They have always been so kind with big smiles on their faces. It's truly always a joy to visit and order my favorites and see kind people.

First timer but I had seen this café on the maps and wanted to go sometime. I walked in on a Friday around 3 PM and it was semi empty. I ordered a roca de Coco because I'm a huge coconut fan and had seen on the reviews that a lot of people were ordering the doce de leite so I got one too. My bread roll came out very nice and warm and it went well with the coffee I chose. I just think that the coffee is already sweet so I probably should've focused on something either more savory or less sugary. I absolutely loved the Rosca de Coco and I would go back for more. This is a Brazilian café. This establishment is huge in terms of square footage and amount of seating. There are plenty of tables whether that be for 2, 4, 6 or 8 people; definitely a nice place to gather and it's close to Ghirardelli Square and pier 39.

I came here to do some work online and grabbed a coffee, which was delicious. As I was leaving I started feeling hungry so I got an Açaí bowl to go. And it did not make it home lol. This was perfect. I'd come back just for this.

We decided to come in at nice sunny Saturday and enjoyed the experience . I got the drip coffee which was ok (nothing too fancy). They have some other interesting Brazilian-inspired coffee and food items , perhaps we'll give it a try next time

Ok the acai bowls here are soo good!! I love how they're beautifully prepared and delicious. Definitely a go-to spot for acai in the city! Two tweaks that would make it better: - I wish the original bowl came with nut butter, it's always an addition - The acai comes with a sweetened syrup which you cannot remove from the base. I wish this was adjustable to not have added sugars

One of the best places to enjoy Brazilian food in the city is definitely Café de Casa. Since I discovered their flavors and textures, I've been hooked. Whenever I crave an enroladinho de queijo or a pão de queijo, I know I can find the best here. The service is excellent the team truly puts their heart into everything they do. From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave, you feel the good vibes and the warmth that make you leave happy and satisfied. My absolute favorites are the hot chocolate, the enroladinho de queijo, and of course, the feijoada. Thank you, Café de Casa Team, for sharing a little piece of Brazil with us!

GTG: they have scrupulous Brazalian pastries. I got 2 empanadas, one with tiny shrimp and creamy sauce (empanada de camarao) and the other i haven't tried. I got the fried coxiha: fried croquette. Unfortunately I found a hair at the very last bite. Both were very flavorful. The inside looked very inviting. Great location. Take the F to the end of Castro and then take the end back to Ferry. Parking must be on side streets, don't even try on 17th street. You will be stuck with the dead end.

Nice space to work and grab a quick snack and coffee. Lots of space inside and it has cute vibes. The snack was okay, would have liked it heated up a little bit more.

Well, my first visit wasn't what I would have wanted. However I have been back several times to give the place another go. I love that they use so much fresh fruit on top of the acai bowl Nice neighborhood hang out very comfortable place

Iced Dubai latte, rissole, and Coxinha

Really cute spot! I got their iced dubai latte, coxinha, and rissole. They were out of the beef empanada the day I went. The Dubai latte was delicious, rimmed with chocolate had pistachios - so good but definitely pricey. For the pastries, I tried the rissole first which had beef and corn and there was so much filling inside which was amazing. It was good and made me full, but the coxinha was still sitting in front of me so I had to try the coxinha too. The coxinha had shredded chicken and had good flavor but I did like the rissole more. Service was great and the workers are friendly. Overall, a great place and I like how you can come here whether you want a pastry or a full meal.

Came here with a few friends on a Saturday afternoon! The interior is clean, the ambience is great, and the staff is very friendly! We shared an assortment of their Brazilian pastries (both savory and sweet) - everything was delicious, especially the pao de quiejo! They had run out of a couple pastries, so I would recommend coming slightly earlier on the weekend - I will definitely be back to try their acai bowls!

I saw someone at the 24 Bus Stop with a green drink. Thought it was matcha but ...noooo...it's a green juice that's smoothie like! Cafe de Casa is your local Brazilian connection. Pastels or the equivalent Brazilian turnover/empanada and rolls with coconut (Yum)! I got that cold green juice (greens, pineapple & other fruit and coconut milk). Warmed up baked roll with mozzarella and guava jelly. Omg! Like what my granddad made when I was growing up. So fresh! The Café was packed with happy diners in couples and groups. A very lively ambiance! This is wonderful to find!

LIFE CHANGING experience! Had the pleasure of meeting João and was thrilled to get all the best recommendations! I will have to come back and try EVERYTHING one by one but today, I tried their Coxinha and iced Pistachio latte. JUST WOW! Also, their Passionfruit smoothie is so refreshing. Cute atmosphere, clean, great location and above all, the best customer service. Can't wait to come back!

Unfortunately, our visit last Sunday was extremely disappointing. Two of us came for brunch at 1:00 PM. Upon arrival, we were seated at a table directly next to the salad bar. We politely asked if we could move to a quieter table, as the restaurant appeared to be at least half empty. The hostess eventually reseated us, but her attitude made us feel like we were inconveniencing her simply by asking. After being seated, we waited more than 10 minutes before our server came to our table. Once we placed our order and went to the salad bar, our water and bread did not arrive until about 15 minutes later. While that delay was not a major issue, the service only got worse from there. During the entire 1.5-2 hours we spent at the restaurant, our server came to our table only once, and that was to bring mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, the potatoes contained hard, undercooked chunks. We had to ask another server for a replacement, but the second serving was also undercooked. I don't know whether it was because of our table location or some other reason, but we barely saw any of the meat servers. Someone stopped by our table no more than five times throughout the entire meal. It's actually surprising to say that we left Fogo de Chão hungry. At the end of the meal, we waited more than 20 minutes for the check after asking another server for assistance because our own server never returned. When my wife politely followed up, the server simply held up a finger to indicate that she should wait. This visit completely ruined our day. We have always loved dining at Fogo de Chão because it felt like a special experience, but this was one of the worst restaurant experiences we have had in a long time. Between the poor service, undercooked food, lack of attention, and dismissive attitude from staff, we left extremely disappointed.

I think Cafe de Casa also used to make them, but I haven't been in a couple of years. The Brazilian Spot offers açaí bowls, baked goods, and juices on the menu, as well has a small, hot buffet-style section where I think you pay by weight. There's also shelves of imported, Brazilian grocery items on the left wall, which is pretty cool if you're looking for more specialized goods that aren't typically available in your regular grocery store. There's a handful of tables and chairs, but not a lot of seating otherwise. The pão de queijo was still warm in the bag when we picked them up. Their version was too salty and dense for my taste; the pão de queijo of my memories from that spot on Balboa Ave was bouncier and airier than The Brazilian Spot's (they also had fun flavors like guava). If I *really* get a hankering for pão de queijo again, I might come back, but otherwise, the search continues.

The dishes were between $15 - $20, and the kabob plates allowed you to select two sides from 3 selections (yucca flour, yucca stew, and beans). I've had yucca, but not in flour or stew form. I thought the stew would be a soup, but it was a steamed piece of yucca, which was not bad. I learned what it was after ordering it. Also, yucca flour is literal flour that is in a small ramekin that you would sprinkle on all your other food items. I am pointing this out to anyone who is a first-timer at a Brazilian restaurant. I experienced, got schooled, and passing the knowledge to you. As the previous reviewer said, the pot of chili in oil on the table is fire, so eat in moderation. It has fantastic flavor but is very, very spicy. All the dishes were unique and tasty except for the beef kabob, which was overcooked steak on a stick.

Matt had been talking about Brazilian steakhouse every time he saw something that reminded him remotely of Fogo de Chao, so I figured this opportunity might be of interest to him. Come to find out that the day after I make the reservation he asks if I'd be willing to go a Brazilian steakhouse for the long weekend, so I got to surprise him with the fact that I already had a reservation. I'm not the biggest fan of Fogo de Chao based on my prior experiences there. I do believe that I have been to a Show de Carnes location before and had another great experience, but also Show de Carnes's Memorial Day promotion was slightly better than Fogo's and I much preferred that their location was outside of the city even if on the other side of the bridge. I did have to call the morning of to delay our reservation slightly, but it was taken care of for us without hassle. We even got seated closer to the original reservation time when we ended up running early. There isn't much space to wait in the front lobby area especially on a packed night, but everything looks very upscale from the wine bottles on the wall to the crystals above the self-serve side buffet. As far as mandatory meats, I have a couple of personal rules when it comes to Brazilian steakhouse, including go light on the sides and only go for the beef. Picanha is my favorite, extra rare too, so I made myself a whole pincanha meat salad while probably giving the guy cutting the meat a good scare. The grilled pineapple is also a must, followed by the cheese and honey. Matt got a lot more variety but it takes a while for the guys to come around with meat that has already been sliced up some so I can get to the parts that I like. We got a papaya cream and passion fruit mousse for dessert, which we probably really didn't need but enjoyed thoroughly as we are both dessert people. As it was a busy night, it was not too easy to flag a server down. I saw picanhas skip our table left and right so I'm not sure there's an established route for them to bring the meat around. The staff did seem to work together with great teamwork, and someone always stopped by to make sure we had more water and our choice of sides. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone that is a protein or all you can eat fan. The regular price per person is definitely steep in my humble opinion, but if you can catch a promo it'll be a great time. Also, don't choose between still or sparkling, ask for tap. I will not be getting got again next time.

My party of 3 dined here on a Saturday for a little girls night and snagged a reservation on short notice (just a day prior). Honestly, the experience was underwhelming. We ordered a pao de queijo to start with two entrees to share. The pao de queijo, coming with just three measly balls, was dense, dry, and far from worth the hefty $8 price tag. The pao de queijo at Fogo De Chao is far superior which is not saying much, but at the very least, the famed Brazilian BBQ restaurant chain offers their bread gratis. The two entrees we ordered were the seafood stew and half rotisserie chicken. I'll admit the chicken was wonderfully cooked with every morsel succulent and juicy. But, the bed of rice was a tad too overcooked and the scant vegetables left the cohesive whole disappointing. Again, the seafood stew was underwhelming and the pilaf-esque rice seemed to make up the bulk of the "stew." I'm not sure if I'd dub seafood atop an oz or two of gravy as stew but perhaps stew is a subjective term.
