The Guard from luxury lab at 2pm to 2:15pm on memorial day was very rude to us. We don't even know why he shouted at my uncle to move back the table that my uncle was sitting on next to the trash can so he moved it a little further from the trash can. And all of a sudden this guard from luxury lab shouted at my uncle to bring back the table to the center. My uncle did not even got it from the center. He was very rude and did not even say please. And what business does a guard from the luxury lab jewelry shop minding our business?! He was a racist. He probably thought we were Asian toursit who doesn't know how to speak English. Unfortunate for him my uncle is a lawyer and speaks fluent English and Americans. Brea needs to reprimand these kind of behavior. His attention should be at people going in or at that jewelry shop not us. read more

This mall is always crowded, regardless of when I went before the pandemic, regardless of the season or holiday. Despite this, I always felt like this mall was super mediocre. The only reason I'd stop by is for Pink's Hot Dogs especially since the only other ones are in Hollywood or Torrance, Kura if I don't want to do AYCE sushi, & Morphe. Other than that, everything else you'd want you can get at Westfield Santa Anita with a better shopping atmosphere and more dining options. I think my biggest gripe is that there are NO ATMs at this mall, you'd have to drive out to the adjacent banks, like why? That's so inconvenient. Finding the restrooms here are a pain as well. Unless trapped in the area or by someone else's suggestion, I'd rather shop elsewhere. read more

Brea mall has so many stores and a variety of every single item you can think of! The prices for each store are pretty reasonable. Don't be surprised if you lost in there though, this mall is huge. Most of the employees will never know where a single store is located if you ask them, and they'll have the worst attitude about it. One thing that is a bit disappointing here are the attitude of the employees. I walked into their Hollister store the other day and grabbed some clothes to try on in the fitting room. I was waiting in the crowded line to the fitting room and caught one of the workers staring at me (and not in a good way). She was giving me nasty looks, rolling her eyes at me, and decided to push me to get to another spot of the fitting room and gave me a nasty look as if I PUSHED HER! No apology or anything. She looked miserable working there. Overall, the place is okay. Hollister, please train your staff to be more respectful (especially the girl with a short brown wavy hair). Not cool. read more

I've been coming here since the early 90s. The service here is not good. The people were not friendly. Had to call the security guys, and Vince was super helpful. Everyone else was an issue. I found a few things I wanted at some of the stores. The selection was good, prices are ok. Just had an issue out in the parking lot I guess. read more

Located off the 58 Fwy on the Imperial Hey exit. We dropped by this mall on our way home just to go shopping in an indoor air conditioned mall. There's so many stores and restaurants in the mall, you could easily spend the day here and do all your shopping. However this mall was a way bit more crowded than I like. My hubby and I just waited until our kids was done shopping. LOL read more

This was my first time visiting this place! It has quite a few stores, but you'll still need to travel elsewhere for Louis Vuitton or something. Brea Mall has been my go-to place for shopping for many years already. There's an abundant amount of stores, like Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, and Doc Martens, so it's nearly impossible to leave empty-handed. The food court is very spacious with lots of seating, as well as many food options to choose from. However, it does get busy somedays so both the food court and stores become very crowded. This is my home town! Thank you Brea Mall for serving me ever since I was in preschool. I had great memories here during junior high school with my friends. We would come skate or bike here after class and munch on some of the great mall food! My favorite spots are Genghis Khan, Sarku Japan, and the Cinnabon place. The stores here are solid and it is what you expect just for ur local city mall. There is nothing crazy, but the tokyo store is always fire. Always clean and never too super crowded. I am sad to see that several shops have left - likely due to COVID. Food court is decent with several chain restaurants in or around the mall. CPK, Kura, Red Robin are inside the mall while Cheesecake, Red Lobster and Olive Garden are on the outskirts of the mall. With the department stores Nordstroms, Macys and JCPenny, there is plenty of shopping to do along with the many shops inside the mall. read more

This mall is really great, BUT was a disappointed for a big popular mall that there restrooms were very dirty and out of supplies. I understand they cannot be expected to be clean because people are constantly using it but to have no toilet paper no seat covers, very bad. They need to have more frequent cleanings in the restroom !! Yuck. read more

This mall just happened to be a small walking distance from the Embassy Suites in Brea. The inside is extravagant everywhere you walk in the mall. The food court has more diverse options compared to malls back in my hometown. Hopefully when my family and I stay in Brea again, we'll stop by this mall again. :) read more

Now that I live nearby, I actually enjoy shopping at the Brea Mall. Before then, I never had the urge to pass through this area. The mall is well-maintained and isn't too crowded on a regular day. They are conveniently located off the 57 freeway. The interior is open and bright with the sky lights. There are two levels for your shopping enjoyment. They house the two major retail stores: Macy's and Nordstrom. There are many stores to choose from: Ann Taylor, H&M, Guess, Hollister, Sephora, Lululemon, and more. There is also a Tesla showroom. This mall is comfortable and easy to navigate. There are lots of eateries around the mall area. I will be here more often because they have several of my favorite stores. read more

The layout haves 5 department stores along the perimeter (currently 4 as Sears moved out) and stores along the interconnecting paths in a hub and spoke design layout. Restrooms are scarce and when you find them they are filthy, dated and stained with broken doors, too many people, panhandling gypsies - in the corridors inside the mall. You can have whatever you'd like. The Brea Mall easily covers all the basics and then some. I frequented the Brea Mall in college, and always love returning to the area for a quick browse. This mall is filled with the typical fan favorite retail shops, as well as a variety of vendors that you don't see everywhere else: Ring, Lululemon, Lush, and Sugarfina. The mall is surrounded by a ton of great food options, including Red Robbin, California Pizza Kitchen, Cheesecake Factory, and my personal favorite, Lazy Dog. Plus, the indoor food court is jam packed with yummy choices! While parking can be tough around the holidays, it's typically pretty easy to get in and get out on a regular basis. read more

Nice and quiet mall during the weekday. It has both "normal" or regular stores and a high-end side. This was my first visit. I was impressed with the layout and the fountain in the middle of the mall. The Apple Store is a good large size for being in the mall. Larger than South Coast Plaza. The staff are very friendly. Kelley's Kookies is here and that pleasantly surprises me. This is a unique, high end cookie maker. I would return to Brea Mall when in the area. read more

Good, quiet suburbia mall with major department stores, chain restaurants, and [mainly] mid-range, smaller stores. Nothing cool or fancy sticks out regarding clothes or style. (If you're looking for that, head to South Coast Plaza or LA.) Customer service is better at smaller stores, but that's a given. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. I don't think they've gone back to pre-2020 insanity hours, but they're open most of the day, every day. read more

Today was a Sunday therefore time mall opens is 11am vs the 10am normal time. Either way the mall was open for walking around. The Simon employee was super helpful when I inquired about Easter photos. He took the time to show me how to navigate the website and get to the events page. Again,the customer service had by 1 employee made my early arrival a pleasure to be there.No hassle finding a parking spot! This was a huge plus. So again, 11am open on Sundays and I recommend coming a bit early for easy parking. I recommend this mall,as it has so many stores to shop at. read more

Two weeks ago, I went there so my kid could play in the kids' play area. It was a rainy day so I thought it would be perfect to go to that indoor place. However, we could be there only for 10 minutes or so because there were big kids occupied first. According to the sign children must be under 42" and there must be a supervising person. Nonetheless, the big kids who happened to look way taller than 42" were playing in that area and crazily running around in that small space. One toddler got knocked over by a big kid but those big ones never stopped running. My husband asked them not to run since there were many toddlers and babies but they disregarded. So, we wanted to talk to their parents but the parents were not there. So we did not have any choice but to leave. We wanted to speak to the desk but no one was there either. I don't know who runs the place but this place should be watched always so little kids can safely play. The play area are made with type of ceramic material so if a kid falls or gets knocked over, he or she can get injured severely. Luckily, my kid did not get hurt on that day because we noticed the danger and left there quickly! Please let people(parents) aware that the place is for kids under 42" and the parents must supervise their children if they start running excessively. Otherwise, kids can get hurt brutally. read more

I love Brea Mall for nostalgic reasons and because it's the mall of North Orange County that has all of the major stores without feeling snooty. It's a family friendly mall, I feel safe going to and from my car here day or night and it's a major landmark for the north. It's also a popular stop to catch buses to the rest of Orange County. Brea Mall has always been very clean with plenty of parking, the only downside is exiting the 57 freeway to get into the mall around Christmas can be daunting because it can back-up pretty bad both on Imperial Hwy. and State College, but it moves quickly. There are plenty of anchor stores and restaurants surrounding and inside the mall itself. You're guaranteed to find something you like or need here. read more
