I absolutely love this place! I've lived in the area for 3 years and I didn't even know this place existed. It's a cute little country store, with tons of baked goods, a deli, all types of pasta salads, pies annnnnnd PIZZA! We've ordered pizza from here 4 times and every time it was delicious. Best in the area in my opinion. It's similar to a NY style pizza, but the dough they use tastes gourmet. The best thing: they deliver within 5 miles. I am really appreciative that they deliver and don't use door dash or grubhub. Because they themselves deliver, there isn't any extra fees, so we can still give the driver a nice tip without paying a ton. I hope they keep doing it this way. If so, we'll continue to order pizza from here on our pizza nights. Also, everyone is super nice here and accommodating. I can't wait to try more baked goods when I stop by again.

I got a 12" Italian sub (swapped out turkey for pepperoni) with a side of vinegar and oil, and it was very good and fresh. It's basically a deli and a mini mart all in one. You go to the front and order your food. Then you go through the store, wait in the line, grab soda etc, and then check out. We ordered a pepperoni sandwich for the kids, a ham sandwich for my husband and I had turkey. Mine was turkey on rye with cheese and mustard and is just like an NYC deli. While waiting in line, I spoke to a local postal worker, she agreed, best local deli. You should absolutely stop here if you are in town.

Quite unique.! The food was par. Fish and fried shrimp were overcooked to coffee brown. The wings are delicious. The shrimp cocktail was good. The French onion soup was superb. The burgers were big and awesome. The problem was the service. One waitress for 80 people is not enough! We were seated and then she finally got to our table for a drinks order. Beers and waters. All good. Food order goes in. We don't see our waitress again. Takes 30 minutes for the food to come meandering out of the kitchen and delivered by kitchen staff. Still no waitress for more beers. Food was as described earlier. Still no beers. I go to the bar to get more. I am told it will be a few minutes. Still no more beers. Some of our gang go home because they Never Got Service! We were there for 90 minutes and got 2 beers. Then came the tab. $160 for six people not including the tip. Paid in cash! Nice place. Local favorite. I would skip it if not for my friends being local and taking us there. They say that management tries to run the place with one waitress usually. Too Bad! Poor or no service is costing you lots of money.

My son said his fried clams were tender, sweet and not greasy at all. The waitress was super friendly and the atmosphere was happy and celebratory. The drinks are average but they do have specials. A good place!

With the Americade motorcycle rally underway in town, it was tough to find seating but the staff made it work for me and the tour group that I was traveling with. It's a nice, rustic-looking restaurant. The manager made the rounds to say Hello to us and he made sure that we were doing okay. In the interest of speed, I ordered a salad bar and the soup of the day which was Goulash. It was very good. The salad bar had everything I could possibly want in a salad and it was replenished regularly. The tuna Mac salad there was awesome. The salad bar is $15 if you don't get an entree or appetizer. Perhaps a little steep but I think it might be all-you-can-eat. As a petite person, I probably don't eat enough. From the window, I had a great view of the outlet stores that Lake George is also famous for. I had to fight to the urge to go shopping. Perhaps another day! We had a slight mix-up with the check for our table but the staff took care of the issue quickly and it wasn't a surprise because the place was really packed. Nevertheless, I thought service was really good. Thanks, The Log Jam. You had a log jam of customers but somehow you made it work. We'll be back.

I went in tonight, Tuesday, to buy 2 $100 gift cards for Christmas gifts and was told they have been out of gift cards for two weeks and will not have gift cards until January 5th and that I can go online and that I can print a piece of paper with my $100 gift on it...? I explained that this was a Christmas gift and that I would like something other than an 11x13 piece of paper with a dollar amount on it that someone could open as a nice gift. They couldn't help me. (Everyone knows Staples can print such cards in a pinch). I thanked them and said that I would try another local restaurant, the reply was "good luck". Good luck, not apologetic and Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays.....just good luck. How sad that the fabric of society has been reduced to this........ I did go to another restaurant down the street and bought the gift certificates from a very gracious bar tender, who I happily tipped and exchanged Christmas greetings. Looking forward to a nice meal and old school charm elsewhere.

Overall, it's a very nice space that definitely gets loud when it's busy. My advice is to not be in a rush and don't go hangry if you're dining during prime times. We did order cocktails/mocktails, appetizers, main dishes AND dessert. Everything took quite a while (except dessert and coffee arrived quickly). We all enjoyed our entrees and thankfully, each other's company. We were there for about 2 and a half hours from start to finish.
