I absolutely love this place! I've lived in the area for 3 years and I didn't even know this place existed. It's a cute little country store, with tons of baked goods, a deli, all types of pasta salads, pies annnnnnd PIZZA! We've ordered pizza from here 4 times and every time it was delicious. Best in the area in my opinion. It's similar to a NY style pizza, but the dough they use tastes gourmet. The best thing: they deliver within 5 miles. I am really appreciative that they deliver and don't use door dash or grubhub. Because they themselves deliver, there isn't any extra fees, so we can still give the driver a nice tip without paying a ton. I hope they keep doing it this way. If so, we'll continue to order pizza from here on our pizza nights. Also, everyone is super nice here and accommodating. I can't wait to try more baked goods when I stop by again. read more

Beans is my go to for quick, delicious food and sweets! Their breakfast sandwiches are absolutely out of this world and their sandwiches are fresh, huge and delicious! The sides (especially the Buffalo chicken Mac salad) are always incredible and I love that they support other local small businesses (like Rachael's bread!!!) Beans even catered my mother in laws wedding and everything was spot on! the staff has always been wonderful and helpful and the store always has new items and knickknacks to look at while waiting for your order. I confess - I've never been there, but this is the third time someone has brought a Bean's pie(pizza) to a party and I am sold. Delicious chewy crust, fresh flavorful toppings and just the right amount of cheese. Great hot, at room temperature or cold with coffee...my favorite breakfast! read more

Food was good. I got a Reuben sandwich, which was very good. We ordered delivery and I felt that the food came in a reasonable amount of time considering that it was a Saturday night. They did forget a few salads from my family's orders, and in addition my family ordered a margarita pizza but what came was not what would normally be considered a margarita pizza and was more of a white pizza. Those two things caused the three stars, but the food we did get was very good. read more

I liked this place. It's definitely a convenience store but it's on roids or something...they have tons of hot food dishes ready made that you can order to eat in or take away. It reminded me of a smorgasbord except you don't serve yourself. Tons of choices and they also make their own pizzas and wings in house. Additionally they have a sweet pie counter in which you can buy slices or entire pies. I tried the peach and it was awesome...especially for $1.75!! They also have homemade desserts like cheesecake, tiramisu, and cannolis. Interestingly, they have a small grocery and sundry section as well. Nice little gem sorta out in the middle of nowhere that seems to do a very good business. I'll be back for more pie and maybe a couple two tree other things too! read more

I'm shocked to see the bad review here. I call Bean's for lunch 1-3 days a week. I've had them cater parties of mine and been to plenty of parties he's helped cater. He's got a low turnover of friendly faces down there for a reason. The staff is happy and it shows every time I stop in. It doesn't matter what I get. Maybe it's because hey didn't know who I was, maybe it was because I'm a young adult, but my experience here was NOT great. I really wanted to like this place, one of my good friends grew up in the area and brought me and some others here to grab lunch, but we all left feeling very frustrated and a little upset. First, the lady at the counter seemed to be mad at us for looking at the menu even though there was no line and we didn't even take that long to decide. She seemed very annoyed while taking our order. Then we waited for about 25 minutes for a couple of sandwiches, which again is pretty ridiculous considering there were about 8 other people in the whole place, and 4 of them were the people making sandwiches. Then when we went to pay I politely asked a man who was looking at chips if he was in line and he YELLED at me that yes, he indeed was, and then the man standing behind me in line proceeded to say out loud that this is not how the line usually forms and was getting obviously heated about it (not the restaurants fault obviously but when everyone in a store is moody it usually has something to do with the store). Then the woman at the register answered the phone to take an order while I was paying and literally left the register for 2 minutes.....so the whole experience took about 45 minutes for 5 sandwiches. Not worth it. The sandwiches themselves were good but nothing particularly special, I had a tuna melt, one friend got turkey, one got Buffalo chicken. Definitely not worth the 45 minute process in my opinion. I always like to give places the benefit of the doubt, maybe I just came on a really bad day or this was just a chain reaction of bad luck events, but after this experience I don't know that I will be going back. read more

You can get local goodies such as Villa bread and Oscar meats too. Bean's also has delicious pies and cute gifts . I grew up around the corner from Beans and would eat all three meals from Beans somedays. Everytime I am back in the area, Beans is a must stop. I believe this recently moved to 1431 Route 9 in South Glens Falls. This is one of the best places SGF has to offer. Their salads are great. I usually get their potato salad or pasta salad. Their prices are reasonable and they have a huge selection of food. I wish they would open another one closer to my home in Malta. Their staff is extremely friendly and if I could go their everyday I would. I usually have my fiancee pick my dinner up for me on the way home from his job. Not a fan of this place at all. The smoothie I bought (and drank half of) expired ten days ago. Yuck! The peach pie I tried was just okay, and honestly could have been baked longer.
