Best sandwiches in Tampa, no question. All of the ingredients are fresh and delicious. You can't go wrong with anything here. You order at the computer at the counter and food comes out quickly. You can also order online for to go orders. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It's a shared outdoor space Los Chapos Tacos, which is also excellent, so consider ordering from both!

Stopped by to get a quick refresher to start my Friday. Went with the Blood Orange Coconut Ginger refresher which was $3.95 for the X Large. Parking is convenient when it's not busy, small lot so be mindful. This establishment is right beside Los Chapos Taco so you can only imagine how packed this area can get. Love the ambiance of Bread on the Bay, it's very clean and uplifting with all the vibrant colors. You can order your treats via the self order kiosk which makes things quick and super efficient. The Blood Orange Coconut Ginger was super tasty. Outdoor seating is also available with games like connect four available for your entertainment. Stop by and check this establishment out for a tasty treat!!

Delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. We stopped here after our cruise based on the recommendation of a Ybor City transit supervisor. Very happy we did! Great customer service too!

Great sandwiches and coffee at great prices! We were downtown looking for an early lunch and tried Bread on the Bay. Cute place with a few indoor tables and even more seating outside. Lots of sandwiches and flatbreads to choose from at great prices. We ordered 2 Cubans, pan con lechon and a Hawaiian flatbread. To drink we had iced coffees a mocha frappe and lemonade. Everything was delicious. Cubans were really good. Pan con lechon was yummy and kid scarfed down the flatbread. Very fresh and flavorful. Service was great. Very accommodating to changes and customization. Very patient as we figured out what we wanted. Finding parking is a challenge so you may need to park and walk. But it is well worth it.

This place was delicious! I had the Baja chicken wrap and it was incredibly good. The staff is super friendly as well. We ate inside and the place was very clean. Would recommend and would come back!!!

Foodie 2023- Here we Go!!! Bread on the Bay Sandwicheria is a small hidden gem in Ybor City. Inspired by Chef Pablo Monfort who has cooked all around the world, Bread on the Bay will take you to a diverse flavorful menu with only one bite of thier sandwiches. Next time you're in Ybor City go pay them a visit.

Came here for the first time a month or so ago. Best sandwiches I've had in a long time hands-down. We were in a large group and everyone enjoyed their sandwiches. I definitely have to come back and try even more options. Service was quick and attentive. Music was a nice touch in the background. The person at the register took her time and gave us great recommendations. Nothing that we ate was bad. Everything was fantastic and I have even told other people about This Shop.

Met some friends for lunch at this cozy sandwich shop in Ybor City. I ended up getting a breakfast sandwich, but I took pics of their food too (see pics). The staff was super friendly and stay cool under the pressure of a pretty large crowd that seemed to appear right after we got there. All in all, we enjoyed our lunch and had a great time catching up. I will definitely eat here again.

Very cute little spot. The staff was super friendly & everything on the menu looked so good, it was hard to choose. We got a Cuban sandwich and two of the avocado toast and we're not disappointed. I will say, I think the bread choice for the avocado toast could be improved and a little more artisanal, but it was still very tasty. Will definitely be going back to try more menu items.

My husband and I were in town for the weekend. We stumbled across this place for breakfast. Super cute outside area as well as some tables inside. The ladies were super friendly. I had the two different breakfast tacos (without the bacon/chorizo) they were amazing! My husband had the chipotle chicken sandwich- which he said was great. We also both indulged on the lemonade refreshers which were delightful as well. Outside there is a sweet little resident chicken who dined with us. We plan on returning during our stay here.

Great gem tucked away in Ybor. The service at the counter was fantastic! The food was delicious. Got the avocado maple club and the prosciutto caprese. The portions are HUGE. You can tell they use high quality, fresh ingredients. The bread is fresh and flavorful.

Great sandwiches & staff! Everyone here was so nice & helpful. Our sandwich came out quick & was delicious. The focaccia bread was so soft. I'll definitely be back!

Overall I've been going to Potbelly since 2002 starting back in Chicago. See the attached picture and tell me if you think this is acceptable Mac and Cheese? Beyond it being runny, the noddles were not cooked. Don't serve this. I'd rather hear, sir it'll be another 20 minutes before the Mac and Cheese is ready. You think trying to serve this to a 3 year old is acceptable? I had the Italian which was fine so no complaints there. They try to make amends by offering a cookie and gave me a coupon for a free sandwich or salad. Like I said historically no major issues here beyond 1-2 times they forget the bottled water or applesauce for kids combo meal. I think maybe I'll stick to coming here on the weekdays.

Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, I won't be returning. I stopped in around 3:00 p.m. and was happy to see it wasn't busy. I went to the deli counter, waited for someone to serve me, ordered my chicken salad, grabbed a soda and chips, and headed to the open register. As I walked up, the cashier called another customer over ahead of me. I waited while he spent several minutes deciding whether to pay cash or by card because of the 4% card fee. I continued standing there with my three items, to the point that I actually set them down and debated walking out. Then, instead of helping me, the cashier motioned for an entire family to come to the registereven though I had been standing there waiting before they arrived. After that, she waved over another customer, and I had to wait while a mother and her two teenagers decided which desserts they wanted. Again, I stood there patiently. When it was finally my turn, there was no greeting, no "thank you for waiting," nothing. The first thing I was asked was, "Do you have a pickup order?" I said no. She then motioned for my chicken salad container, saying she needed it. I placed it on the scale and set my other items on the counter. The cashier then asked, "Are you okay?" I simply shook my head because, honestly, I wasn't. Instead of recognizing why I was frustrated, she continued talking, making comments, and escalating the interaction rather than simply ringing me up. At that point, I asked, "Do you want to argue? Do you want me to go back and forth with you?" I then asked who the manager was. She pointed to a woman beside her, who identified herself as the owner. I asked if she could ring me up instead. Even then, the cashier continued making comments. It was only after she continued engaging me that my voice became louder in response. Rather than addressing the repeated comments from her employee or asking what had happened, the owner immediately said, "Do not raise your voice at my employee." That response was disappointing. There was no concern for the customer experience, no apology for repeatedly being skipped in line, and no attempt to resolve the situation. There was also no acknowledgment that the interaction had been escalated by the cashier's continued remarks before I ever raised my voice. The irony is that I have spent a significant amount of money catering from Frankie's Deli over the years because my customers love the food. Good food will bring people in once. Great customer service keeps them coming back. Sadly, this experience ended that relationship for me. There are plenty of places with great food, but respect and customer service matter just as much. One final thought: this is Florida not NY. Hospitality goes a long way. The aggressive, dismissive attitude I experienced isn't what I expect when supporting a local business. I won't be back.
