I've been hitting the taco spot attached to this place for about 4 years and always said I wanted to try it. I finally did after a workout because I wanted something semi healthy. I got a chicken wrap. It wasn't that good at all. There are kiosks that you can order at. The menu is simple. There were a couple of lattes that by eye, looked like they may be tasty but I doubt I go back and try it. read more

So I may be a bit old school or biased, but I prefer places where you get to interact with people. Walking in it's 2 kiosks and you order yourself. Nobody acknowledged that we had even entered the building. We ordered and paid and sat down. Food was brought over without a word said, we ate and left. Now the food was great, no complaints there at all, just overall an underwhelming experience. read more

Best sandwiches in Tampa, no question. All of the ingredients are fresh and delicious. You can't go wrong with anything here. You order at the computer at the counter and food comes out quickly. You can also order online for to go orders. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It's a shared outdoor space Los Chapos Tacos, which is also excellent, so consider ordering from both! read more

Stopped by to get a quick refresher to start my Friday. Went with the Blood Orange Coconut Ginger refresher which was $3.95 for the X Large. Parking is convenient when it's not busy, small lot so be mindful. This establishment is right beside Los Chapos Taco so you can only imagine how packed this area can get. Love the ambiance of Bread on the Bay, it's very clean and uplifting with all the vibrant colors. You can order your treats via the self order kiosk which makes things quick and super efficient. Great sandwiches and coffee at great prices! We were downtown looking for an early lunch and tried Bread on the Bay. Cute place with a few indoor tables and even more seating outside. Lots of sandwiches and flatbreads to choose from at great prices. We ordered 2 Cubans, pan con lechon and a Hawaiian flatbread. To drink we had iced coffees a mocha frappe and lemonade. Everything was delicious. Cubans were really good. Pan con lechon was yummy and kid scarfed down the flatbread. Very fresh and flavorful. Service was great. Very accommodating to changes and customization. Very patient as we figured out what we wanted. Finding parking is a challenge so you may need to park and walk. But it is well worth it. read more

Terrible service charged me for all my food to my card and then they said I didn't pay even when I showed proof of the payment. The woman in the front didn't speak English at all either so I couldn't even get an explanation or try to solve the problem. I will recommend to everyone I know to not come here. Very unprofessional and zero help. read more

Came here for the first time a month or so ago. Best sandwiches I've had in a long time hands-down. We were in a large group and everyone enjoyed their sandwiches. I definitely have to come back and try even more options. Service was quick and attentive. Music was a nice touch in the background. Met some friends for lunch at this cozy sandwich shop in Ybor City. I ended up getting a breakfast sandwich, but I took pics of their food too (see pics). The staff was super friendly and stay cool under the pressure of a pretty large crowd that seemed to appear right after we got there. All in all, we enjoyed our lunch and had a great time catching up. I will definitely eat here again. read more

My husband and I were in town for the weekend. We stumbled across this place for breakfast. Super cute outside area as well as some tables inside. The ladies were super friendly. I had the two different breakfast tacos (without the bacon/chorizo) they were amazing! My husband had the chipotle chicken sandwich- which he said was great. We also both indulged on the lemonade refreshers which were delightful as well. Outside there is a sweet little resident chicken who dined with us. I have been here several time in the past. Went on Black Friday. Food was ok. But service was fair. My biggest issue are the filthy napkin holders sitting on the white tables inside. in addition the white tables are scarred and stained. show a lack of upkeep. These little make customer know the management really doesnt care. I'll find a new place to eat. read more

I already assumed this place was going to be good since it's connected to one of my fav taco spots in Tampa. Lots of sandwiches to choose from and great coffee! Ended up trying a wild breakfast sandwich with eggs, bacon, avocado, maple syrup (might have been other ingredients lol) either way it was absolutely delicious. I also got a HOT mocha latte with cinnamon sugar on top, it DID NOT disappoint. Will definitely be back as the service was just as good as the food!! read more

I think I've finally found my favorite Cuban sandwich in tampa! I stumbled upon this place by accident and I couldn't be more excited. The Cuban was pressed and the bread was nicely toasted so it made it easy to bite into and it wasn't dry! That seems to be the problem I encounter the most. I also tried their guava pastry which came warm and was delicious, their pastry dough was also top tier. It's definitely a small hole in the wall place so parking is limited but they had a really cute outdoor area with turf where you can sit and eat along with play some games! Also, the prices here are unbeatable. Definitely a great spot to bring your family or to have a casual dinner with friends. read more

I'm not sure why anyone would come here to a place that it too cheap to make a legit cuban sandwich. Take a trip down the street to the Ybor history museum if you want to learn how a cuban sandwich is made. You forgot the salami. read more

Came for breakfast with my fiancé. We loved their lemonade/limonada - so refreshing! You can really taste the fresh lime & lemon juice. For food, the Prosciutto Caprese sandwich on focaccia... This sandwich is HUGE -stacked with thick slabs of mozzarella, ripe tomato slices & Prosciutto di Parma. Yes, the good stuff. You can taste it. Usually my favorite place to eat in Ybor in the mornings but today my cuban reuben was really lacking. the bread wasn't even toasted and it was missing a lot of stuff that goes on it. The worker today was rather rude and laughed at us. The usual staff is usually super kind and always makes great sandwiches not sure what's going on read more

The food and coffee are absolutely amazing. They have interesting coffee flavors (cookie dough, cinnamon brown sugar) and fun frappe/cold brew options as well, the cinnamon brown sugar was delicious. The maple breakfast sandwich is a great portion and was SO good. The caprese sandwich with prosciutto was massive and comes with a side cookie which was yummy. I went here for bagels and was totally disappointed! Since I wasn't wearing my glasses I thought it was "Bagels" on the Bay, well that's not their fault. I took those lemons and made Lemonade! I asked for recommendations and she said to try a "Cuban." That scared me a bit, since last time I tried a Cuban I ended up with a lovely daughter. She clarified she meant a sandwich, I went with that and it was delicious! My daughter had breakfast and they give you large portions and it too is yummy. One last complaint, they are not on the bay, not even close. Try them, you will love it read more

I'm a big fan of their neighbor Los Chapos tacos and was always intrigued about this attached breakfast/lunch spot next door. I ended up trying it out this past weekend and it was a quick spot to grab coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The iced coffee with brown sugar/cinnamon flavor was excellent and extremely well priced for a large drink The Cuban bread I had with cheese, bacon, and egg was excellent and a massive portion for the price as well. I was truly impressed with this place and their menu is extensive. I'll be back in the future to try out more breakfast/lunch fare. read more

It's cozy and intimate which makes it feel like a great spot for a date night or a nice dinner. We'll definitely be coming back the next time we're in the area!

My boyfriend got the Penne Alla Vodka and added a chicken cutlet (which $15 to add a chicken cutlet is actually insane). The pasta could've used more sauce in both of our opinions. The service was a little on the slower side, which we wouldn't mind as much if the gnats outside weren't eating us alive. They have fans, but the one table we sat at was where the fan didn't reach. So this is definitely a reservation-indoor seating spot for us next time unless they add another outdoor fan. This dampened our experience a bit, especially because we were excited about the outdoor seating.
