We tried to go to this restaurant last week but it closed at 8pm. We managed to get here earlier for dinner this time. The waitress was very nice. We got our food pretty quick. My boyfriend really enjoyed his pastrami sandwich with fries. I got blackened flounder with a side Greek salad and potato salad. The sides were good. The fish was a little bland even with the seasoning. Lemon helped but still bland. The restaurant was clean and a decent size. Not my favorite food, but it was ok. read more

I ordered the oatmeal with fresh blueberries and added honey along with brown sugar. I received very good customer service while placing my to go order. The decor inside is very clean and up to date. Don't judge this book by its cover. Outside might seem dated. Inside the place was clean and well kept. Traditional diner fare at the most reasonable prices, breakfast egg special dishes for the under $10 price. I ordered an omelette,toast and choice of potatoes 12.99. Plate was full and really good. We picked up dinner this evening from Luis Garden Grille Cafe in South Tampa. We ordered chicken stir fry, a salad, spaghetti with marinara and garlic bread. It was the first time we tried this restaurant. We were very disappointed and actually shocked that the cook would permit that garlic bread to be included in a carry out order. It was burnt and tasted extremely burnt. Sadly, it was a very bad first impression! read more

Lgg is a diner with a pretty nice variety of foods. Think Greek and Italian fusion it's good stuff. Today was my first visit and I can see why the reviews are so high. Firstly it was BUSY when I walked in but somehow they got my food to me very quickly given the circumstances bravo! Secondly the food is excellent and of high quality. Everything was perfectly seasoned and there was no skimping on ingredients - beef tip, onion, mushrooms, noodles. The beef tips were tender / juicy and for the price it's a steal. The clam chowder will make you smile it's that good , you can taste the cream and they got the flavor down pat, again very high quality food. The food is very high-quality here! We recently went there for a Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving Eve and it was delicious. The turkey and dressing was very flavorful and moist. The cranberry sauce was homemade and the meal even included homemade pumpkin pie. Also, if you decide to eat a breakfast there and order the wheat bread, it is homemade by Luis and some of the jellies. We love the grape jelly. read more

Super friendly servers and very clean all around. Enjoyed the Roast beef hot open face sandwich "lite meal" which really wasn't at all. It will fill your belly! Accompanied by mashed potatoes, delicious gravy, perfectly cooked fresh veggies and I opted for the quite tasty chicken noodle soup...with nice chunks of chicken. Plus a yummy rice pudding was included for...$12.99! Wowsa. Also, the corned beef with poached eggs and hash browns was excellent the same. And had a very nice fresh fruit side.
