Pot Roast Sandwich on Cuban Bread
    Vince H.

I'm in town visiting for work. Have been here twice, one of the best sandwiches I've had! I love the pot roast sandwich on Cuban pressed bread. The bread is amazing, fries are great, friendly staff. Highly recommended!

I ordered the JC's special which is a HUGE Cuban sandwich, chips and a 32 oz drink. You can't beat it for $12.95. I loved how quick they were in getting my order to me. The only reason I am giving it four stars is because when I get a pressed Cuban, I like my meat to be hot. The meat on my sandwich was still cold, which is most likely because 1. There was a lunch rush and they got me my sandwich pretty quickly, 2. The sandwich is HUGE so it would take awhile for the meat to get warm/hot as well. Otherwise, the flavor was there, the service was fast and friendly, and the ambience in the restaurant was great. It was very clean and not messy by any means. I will definitely be returning! Thank you, J C's!

A spot that could be missed if you don't pay attention. Finally had some time today to stop in and try it out. Ordered the Cuban sandwich with no Mayo. What came was a gigantic sandwich I wasn't prepared for lol. I could only finish half before asking for a to go box. Packed with so much meat and the bread was soooo fresh? I'll def be back.

I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich on Cuban bread with fries and their 'fries sauce'. The order line went through quickly and the food was fresh to order. All the staff members were friendly and had a positive attitude despite the number of people at the restaurant during the rush hour. The food was delicious and the sandwich was bigger than I expected. The restaurant had options other than sandwiches to include meals with your choice of meat with rice and beans . I am subtracting one star because it says there is an option to order prior to pick up and for about 15 minutes either no one would answer the phone or the line was busy ... I did try to call around noon so that could be an explanation for no one answering the phone.

OMG! Thank you lottery. This place is tucked in next to the lottery office and man is the breakfast food here is the bomb. I had the bacon egg and cheese sandwich with home fries. Food came out hot and fresh. Please give this place this place a try.

I had to meet a friend here so I said what the heck let me get something to eat... They have a large selection up on the wall which makes it overwhelming and then the line is moving pretty quick so you feel like your in a rush almost if I should do eeny mini miny mo. I went with their fish burrito because someone suggested it and OMG it was humungous . The burrito was great but next time I'll try one of their specialty sandwiches.

If you work/live by this sandwich shop and are in a hurry for some good food from a clean restaurant, then this is the place for you. When I walked in, I was greeted, but then a little overwhelmed by all the selections above the area you order the food. I asked a few questions about the menu with one of the people making the food behind the counter and they were very patient and did not rush me at all. I just went with the old reliable Cuban sandwich, which was good, but I'll definitely have to come back and try something else.

Hands down the most expensive devil craps I've ever seen. The filing was nice hit the outside was unfortunately soggy not crispy. Philly on a Cuban was a miss with me also even with the extra cheese. Service was great. This place is always packed so maybe I'm just not picking.

My husband loves this place for breakfast or lunch. They also do family style catering which we've utilized before. A must try spot for sure

I tried the Cuban sandwich and it wasn't bad but I just wasn't impressed. Nothing special about it and I just don't see myself returning.

During my first visit, I ordered the Cuban sandwich for which they're known. When you go inside, you can go straight to the register if you're planning to just get a sandwich. The lunch special includes a side--I got the big bowl of yellow rice and black beans. The sandwich was delicious. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. I asked the owner (Frank) about his favorite meal. He told me to return on Thursday to try the pigs' feet. So I did.... and... wow! Pigs' feet = lots of bone, small amounts of very tender meat. I can't say I was a big fan of the pigs' feet, but now I can eliminate "eating pigs' feet" from my bucket list. (Okay, they weren't on my bucket list but I'm adding them to my list of accomplishment nevertheless.) If you eat here, strike up a conversation with Frank. He seems like an awesome guy who is very passionate about this little hole-in-the-wall. He arrives super early every morning to prepare the daily specials. And, yes, they're open for breakfast at 6.30a every weekday morning. I'll try that soon.

I was there with my mom and my five month old daughter in a stroller, which wasn't easy. This was my first time here and the process of ordering and then waiting for your order to be called was stressful. I checked the menu online before going and there was no mention of the slice specials which I couldn't see easily from the line. I also couldn't see the slice bar or flavors available while in line so that wasn't helpful. The fountain for drinks is behind the counter so you can't get yourself a refill. Instead, you have to go through the crowd again to ask an associate to do it for you. Associates were helpful with my questions. No one was wiping tables down between customers. I ordered the Yo Adrian, Bianca slice, cannoli and lobster tail. The Yo Adrian was okay. Too much soft bread, not enough cheese, good amount of onions and some of the meat was chunks rather than shaved. The Bianca slice was primarily burnt on the bottom and didn't seem fresh which is sad considering we were there before noon. The cannoli was good. The lobster roll pastry was great; likely because it was fresh. The ice cream is in boxes, which have had the top cut off and the cardboard was wet and peeling in one of the boxes I saw while waiting in line. I think skipping the ice cream seems like a safe choice. I won't be rushing back but will return at some point to try a breakfast sandwich on a NY bagel and order a whole pie to try so it's fresh.
