We met here for book club brunch. Excellent choice! Parking choices are street, surface lot about a block away and the deck. Something is always available. I was the last one to arrive. The hostess told me where the group was seated and I headed to their location. There is lots of conversation noise, but not so much that you could not hold a conversation. We ordered beverages and got into the discussion of our book. I got a cup of coffee. Their drip coffee is tasty. Our server re-supplied the cream for me and made sure there was enough sweetener. Once we had our beverages, he took our order. I chose the chile relleno breakfast plate. It comes with two eggs, which I had basted, potatoes and two crispy chile rellenos smothered in green chili. I asked for half and half as my heat level and it was perfect. My coffee cup was kept filled as well as my water. My breakfast was quite tasty. The discussion was fun. Such a treat to find this place in our trip to Arvada. All the employees were so friendly, cute atmosphere and deck and the food! Everything was so good, such a selection and all made in house down to their dressings. We had the Rueben which was on perfectly cooked rye bread. Tender corned beef and house made thousand sale. It was busy and is a popular place for sure - but the wait wasn't too long and the menu was all very tempting. The bartender was so pleasant and made awesome drinks - she rocked!! Our only complaint (and the reason for 4 stars) is that our server was not good and was barely around - we spent over 30 minutes just on him to take our order and then to pay. I have always heard about this brunch place and live near here but have never tried it out until today. They have an indoor and outdoor area, the outdoor area is dog friendly! The service was good as our server kept checking up on us consistently. I got the Colorado Benedict which was pretty good overall, I was expecting crispy bacon slices but came out to be bacon bits. The side potatoes were a little disappointing as potatoes are my favorite on dishes. They were not seasoned well and tasted burnt. Even with salt and ketchup I couldn't finish them all. Some family members and I visited Bread Winners for a weekday breakfast after a get together the previous evening. The restaurant is right off the main road of Olde Town and very easy to find. There is street parking available (free for 2 hours) right in front of the entrance and other options within a couple of blocks. We had an easy time finding spots, but bear in mind that evenings and weekends may prove to be a bit more challenging. The lobby and overall interior of the building is very well decorated and feels warm and inviting; two of my sisters also made comments about how cute the interior was and how it would be such a nice spot to stop in for a morning coffee to read a book for a bit or to catch up with a friend. There are a couple of large dining rooms inside as well as a spacious patio. We sat on the patio, which was covered and heated this time of year. The menu is pretty straightforward and full of recognizable, comfort food dishes. Lots of breakfast and brunch options as well as a fairly extensive coffee and drink menu if you're feeling like a mimosa or something. A couple of us got their drip coffee to start, which really hit the spot and was super yummy - exactly what you'd want from really good diner drip coffee. My sister's partner got their hot chai latte, which she loved. It took us only a few minutes to decide on our meals, but I wanted to show some love to our waitress, Dee, who was absolutely amazing! She is extremely sweet, personable, and did an excellent job helping us. We got an array of items, which you can see in the photos, and our meals came out in what felt like no time. Everything looked and smelled wonderful, and the food was obviously hot and fresh. I opted for the chicken sausage and eggs with a side of fruit as I'm not usually one to eat breakfast in the morning, and it tasted great and was the perfect amount of food, save for the toast I didn't finish lol. The fruit comes in a 2oz plastic cup, which I found a bit disappointing, but it tasted fresh. I would have liked a bit more of a variety personally, though it was still good. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their meals as well, but one of my sisters was a bit wary of how runny her eggs were in the huevos rancheros, as she'd ordered them a bit more cooked. Everything was wonderful otherwise. We were in and out in probably just under an hour and will definitely be back again. Breadwinners is in such a great part of town and has such a good vibe, I would highly recommend it if you're in the area. read more

The ambiance was clean, albeit typical cafe style kitsch of the walls. The food was pretty good, but the service was very slow. The green Chile was the highlight. Breakfast burrito was giant. It was mostly ok, although it wasn't heated through. It had cold spots on the ends. The spicy green Chile that topped it was the best part, although it looked as if the dish sat in the window for several minutes before it got to my table. The pancakes were a hit with my kids. They were huge and fluffy. My wife got the biscuits and half gravy/half Chile. She said it was a great combo, although we expected one half of the plate to have each. I have enjoyed both of my meals here, one solo and one with the wife. First of all, the service is excellent and simply can't be ignored in the rating result. Salvador was my last server, and his personality was a perfect amount of energy for a weekend brunch, and he was efficient in his craft. I had the morning scramble on the first trip and the smoked salmon hash this most recent visit. Both were delicious. The salmon hash wins my personal food contest. Wife had the breakfast combo this weekend and loved it. But, kjnow that menu is all over the board, with plenty of traditional AND unique options for all. The place is deceptively spacious, and offers a heated patio, indoor dining, and bar seating. It is also very reasonably priced, with good energy throughout its walls. I would say Breadwinners is a solid brunch option in the greater Denver area. I am partial to eggs benedict, so I am always impressed by a brunch place with multiple varieties of benedicts on the menu. I usually get the classic benedict and Breadwinners benny was on point. Perfectly cooked eggs with runny yolks, plus a hollandaise sauce that was to die for. We also tried the cinnamon roll pancakes. While they were tasty, I think they could have used more of the cinnamon cream topping. As it was, there wasn't too much going on to separate them from regular pancakes. The stuffed French toast is great and let's not forget about the mimosas. They give you an entire bottle of champaign with a juice of your choice and if you don't finish the bottle, you can take it home with you! It's been a while for me. Went back just this Friday and really enjoyed their Shredded Corned Beef. It's mixed in with crunchy diced potatoes. So good! With some sourdough bread as my choice and eggs. I don't know why I ordered scrambled eggs-this was dry. I'm usually an over easy gal and it should've match perfectly with their perfectly toasted sourdough bread. I f***ed up. Nobody to blame but me! It's been warm to hot weather wise and we sat in their covered patio. It was perfect! But inside is definitely cooler. If you don't know what to eat then order this.
