My wife had the BLTA on toasted white bread and loved it. The store itself has an impressive selection of specialty meats and cuts, including lamb, duck, bison, turkey, and plenty of beef options. An in person order was placed for a prime rib as well as for their Outdoor Smoker bundle. A pick up date was arranged and we headed home. The prime rib was for my birthday dinner so my husband left his phone number with them. He received a call later that day asking if the prime rib should be fresh or frozen. They wanted to make sure it did not get frozen if it was being used right away. He advised fresh and commented at what good customer service it was to make the distinction. We went together for pick up. The person who helped us when through the entire smoker bundle to show us the contents and then got the rib roast. Everything was well packaged and arranged. Even though it was the Friday before a religious holiday, and many folks were picking things up, it did not take long for us to get our order, pay and be on our way. I was standing only surprised by this... I'm gonna call it a hidden gem. I was looking for everything to make an Irish breakfast. I wanted to do a full shebang. This is what Google recommended and I was beyond surprised. I was looking for a black-and-white pudding. They have blood sausage and white pudding so I essentially got what I wanted. They also had bangers which were literally banging. And that wasn't something I was looking for. Plus, they've got a bunch of other a coupon for one items. Edwards meats is hands down the best meat shop I have ever been to. Family built/owned/operated since 1962. The owners and staff are just the best people and their product speaks for it's self. The ambiance reminds me of home back in the day when everyone did everything home made at the farm and were glad to share it. I have been going here for years and all of their product is top notch, including seafood. Attached are some steel head trout filets I got from edwards last week that ended up being amongst the best fish I've ever had. This is my favorite shop in Colorado and I cannot recommend them more. Also heard about Edwards from a neighbor , so we decided to check it out- and they did not disappoint. Great selection of meats and even better prices! This place is amazing. They are one of the only places around in the northern metro area that has authentic German bread and Leberwurst. I come here for it every 3 months or so when I have a craving for some food from home. They also smoke and make their own sausages and bacon. The hickory bacon is amazing. Guess what? They also have guanciale! So if you are like me and love trying to make authentic things and want to try making Carbonara then this is the place for you. A decent sized piece can run you 10-15 bucks but it's worth it and you are supporting local. The service here is excellent as well. Everyone is friendly. The ambience is of a butcher.
