Our fist time here. We went for the Sunday brunch. We were sat right away and drinks came out very fast. There was a little bit of a wait on the food however they were pretty busy. Our waitress, Crystal, was so kind in quickly helping us with drinks and also my waffle came out a little too dark for me and she quickly had me a new one out with no problem. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. We will definitely be back. Tip: the bacon was very good but has a sweet taste. If you're not big on sweet bacon then maybe opt for the sausage.

Grilled shrimp, broccoli and onion rings. These are a few of my favorite things.

What a funky, fun spot! The patio was awesome. Our server (also the hostess, it seemed, although one other gal popped her head over to get confirmation on one of the sides we'd asked for) was beyond nice. She genuinely seemed happy to be there, and not just for tips - didn't get her name, but she had GORGEOUS purple hair. Food - YUM! Onion rings were the perfect size so that one bite didn't result in the whole onion slipping out of its fried blankie. Grilled shrimp - also the perfect size!! Not those tiny little grubby ones. Date's ribeye was perfectly cooked! He had fried okra as his side and I despise okra, but it was actually pretty tasty! We agreed that for a menu that sounded like "basic burger bar food" it was really great and worth repeat visits in the future.

Third times a charm? Not at all. I have eaten here through every "reopening", name change, new owner. Nothing I had today was good. I got the Montego Bay Sandwich. Possibly the worst thing I've ever tried. Fake seafood and tiny slimy scallops on unmelted cheese. The burger was basic and again the cheese was just thrown on and not melted (steak and shake is better). The Fish and Chips is made with Tilapia. Not Cod? Just pass on all of it. Every time this place reopens it's worse. The service tho, was excellent. I won't be back.

Went with a friend, she loves the bar and place itself. I thought it was ok, not really any different than your typical bar/restaurant. Will say though that one of their waitresses (sorry, don't know her name) was great! All the staff was great but she made the night interesting. Not sure if it's all the time but they will do karaoke at night time so you can either enjoy the show or be annoyed by the performers (who usually tend to have some drinks in them). I preferred to enjoy. Other than that, foodni s decent, prices are normal and their is a liquor store attached next to the restaurant, or more like the restaurant attached to the liquor store.

Only one table full - I think I spotted a tumbleweed here!

I am so pissed we went there - I can't even spend the time typing this crap in! Basically: Cheap crap food! High prices! Coke machine is over sweet and had zero carbonation! Lazy and unknowledgeable waitstaff! No liquor license! Just stay away - unless you are a couple of food crazed shitbirds - who are gluttons for a waste of time and MONEY!

Let's start on the pickle spears! Yes, SPEARS. I always want spears but don't think I've ever run across a place that has them. Thank you Paola for helping us decide and taking such great care of us. Also thank you Victor for giving us tequila 101; we learned a lot! The food was very tasty and the drinks were delicious. Paolo's spicy Bloody Mary was suuuper good I would recommend. We'll be back for sure.

So happy we decided to eat here! So incredibly friendly, great home cooked food and great atmosphere. Surprised and impressed I definitely will be back. Our service was top notch, even the menu was explained to us. We came in a little late and were still treated like a priority. Thank you, we will be back. Had the salmon, the glaze definitely recommend! Also the Mozz Sticks they are huge!

Any time a new restaurant opens in flowery branch I get really excited because the options are very limited and there isn't a lot of variety. I heard about this place about a month before they opened. Today I ate there and I thought I'd share my thoughts with the yelpisphere. First impression is "I love what they did with the place". I had visited when it was greens and it was very dark and lacked some identity. Hometown grill has an identity. Before getting to that I'll share my thoughts on the environment. The front doors now have windows and they've changed the entire inside to full seating and removed the indoor bar. I think this is smart because it allows for more seats and less of a wait on busy days. The menu is a bit underwhelming BUT I was told by someone it was just a basic menu until they roll out their full menu. Currently has some burgers, Ruben, wings, and few other things including a salad. I should have taken a picture of it. Oh well! The food was good. I'd rate it a 8 our of 10. It's very American style food. It reminds me a lot of friends in Buford. Lot of similarities in my opinion. Hometown may be slightly more expensive. Speaking of price, it's on the high end of the price point they need to stay within. I've attached my bill for your review. We had a party of 4 (2 adults 2 kids). We ordered 5 wings as an app, my wife got 10 wings, I got the Ruben, and both kids got the kids finger with fries. All of us drank water and after tip were over $50. $7 for a kids menu item feels a little high. I never feel like I get my money out of kids menu because they never finish it. I guess we can use it for a second meal (leftovers). The food was prepared well and I really enjoyed the Ruben sandwich. They did a great job with that! We liked the wings and I tasted the chicken fingers that my kids got and they were cooked perfectly. They were moist and flavorful. The fries were really good and all came with healthy portions. The staff was very friendly and was a very young staff. They weren't your typical younger staff. I felt well taken care of and had multiple people come ask about our experience. I believe they care and did a good job of serving our food with a good attitude. They had a lot of staff members there but I imagine they're probably getting everyone up to speed. For it being a new restaurant I didn't feel like they were in the middle of training or having a hard time with the process. The food took a little while to come out but I would say it wasn't bad either. Right when I started thinking it was taking a bit they delivered it out less than 1 minute later. They weren't that busy. I'd be interested to see how fast they turn food around when they are slammed. I'll be back when they roll out a full menu and I hope to update this review over time as I learn more about them. I could easily give them a 5 star for effort and food quality/taste. I'd just say I think the prices are a tad too high and people would more than likely visit more often if it was a little less. Try the Ruben! You won't be disappointed.

Crossroads Bar & Grille in Flowery Branch just nailed two lunch classics better than most places…read moreI've tried--the Cuban and the Reuben are absolute winners. Stopped in at 5900 Spout Springs Rd for a casual lunch and left seriously impressed. These sandwiches aren't just thrown together; they're loaded and executed perfectly. The Cuban (marinated pork loin, smoked ham, Swiss cheese, spicy mustard, and pickles on a toasted hoagie roll) was a flavor bomb. Look at that cross-section--juicy, tender pork layered thick with ham, melty cheese, and that perfect pickle crunch cutting through the mustard kick. The bread toasted up golden and held everything together without getting soggy. Paired it with fries and a side of ketchup, and it felt like something straight out of a great Cuban spot. Huge portions that actually satisfy. The Classic Reuben on toasted marbled rye was equally stacked: thinly sliced corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss, and 1000 Island dressing. The bread had that ideal crisp exterior with a soft bite, and the fillings were generous and well-balanced--no dry bites here. Came with crispy fries and a side of creamy sauce that tied it all together beautifully. Service was friendly and quick, the atmosphere is that perfect relaxed neighborhood vibe (great for watching a game or just catching up), and the prices are fair for the quality and size you get. In a world full of average bar sandwiches, Crossroads delivers the real deal with fresh ingredients and obvious care. Whether you're craving the tangy, savory Reuben or the bright, porky Cuban, both hit the spot hard. I'll definitely be back. If you're in Flowery Branch, do not sleep on these sandwiches. Highly recommend--5 stars.

Not many restaurants manage to combine the charm of a…read morehospital cafeteria with the personal touch of having the waitress complain about the customers directly to them, but this place pulls it off beautifully. Our server seemed to feel we were an inconvenience simply for existing, which added a refreshing level of tension to the meal. It's not every day you get the unique opportunity to listen to your waitress gripe about you while she's still serving your table. Customer engagement at its finest. The food was equally impressive. The shrimp arrived thoughtfully pre-chilled -- perhaps to keep things exciting for the digestive system. Within minutes it gave me a stomach ache, which I assume was the chef's creative interpretation of "interactive dining." My brother ordered the Philly cheesesteak, which had such a powerful effect that he ended up throwing up shortly afterward. It's rare to see food provoke such a strong physical response, so clearly the kitchen knows how to make an impression. Overall, if you've ever wondered what it would be like to combine cafeteria-level cuisine with openly hostile service and a dash of gastrointestinal adventure, this is absolutely the place to go. Truly unforgettable.

I rolled in there hungry enough to eat the bumper off a truck and ordered the meatloaf ciabatta sandwich with hand-cut fries, and sweet mercy... somebody's grandma must be back there running the kitchen because that thing was borderline life-changing. The meatloaf was thick, juicy, and had that "somebody's been perfecting this recipe since 1978" flavor going on. The ciabatta held it together like a champ, and those hand-cut fries? Lord have mercy. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside -- the kind you keep saying "just one more" until suddenly the basket's empty and you're thinking about ordering another. Now here's the real kicker: they've got gluten-free options, which means I can bring my wife this weekend without her looking at the menu like it personally offended her. That alone deserves a round of applause. So if you're anywhere near Buford and your stomach starts talking louder than your good sense, do yourself a favor and stop by.
