You won't be disappointed. When a independent place like breakfast Club 51 has so many 4-5 star reviews, it is a good restaurant. If you don't have a good dining experience, talk to someone. Remember every one has a bad day. Going once, then leave a bad review & " I won't back statement" is bad form, in my opinion. We came in between volunteer events. We got drinks, and Connor answered all our questions about the menu and graciously changed our order from dining in to taking our order to go. The only reason I gave them a 4 is because even though the restaurant didn't appear very busy but Connor told us they had a lot of doordash orders, so it took us about 20 minutes to get our order. My tea was very good, I had to get it to go which they accommodated. I got two meals, one for breakfast and one for dinner. I had the berry waffle with berry compote, eggs, and home fries. The portion was very nice sized. The compote was so good I didn't need syrup. For dinner, I ate the salmon skillet. It was huge it came with a side, and I chose pancakes. They were delicious and fluffy. The skillet was flavorful, and the hollandaise sauce took the skillet to another level. My kid got the chocolate chip pancakes and loved them. They not only had chocolate chips on top, but they were also in the batter. I would definitely go back when we have more time because they have a mimosa flight. read more

The inside has been remodeled to a more open floor plan. The decor has been changed to have a country feel to it. We ordered the Florentine eggs Benedict with hash browns and sourdough toast and the 2 eggs over medium and corn beef hash with skillet potatoes and sourdough toast. The eggs Benedict was good, the hollandaise sauce was tasty and eggs poached properly. The 2 eggs were cooked ok but they came out cold while the skillet potatoes were piping hot. After ordering and waiting 45 minutes for our food (2 orders and a kids pancake), I asked the waiter for an update and was told there were still two tickets in front of us. We were served water almost immediately but weren't able to order coffee for 10 minutes. Coffee wasn't the best and it wasn't hot. The scrambled eggs looked watery and hardly cooked and tasted terribly. The bacon in my scramble had to have been jerky. It tasted like mostly everything was frozen and warmed up. But wanted to support this local business and decided to try it out on a Friday morning. We were promptly greeted and seated. The restaurant wasn't busy, was clean, and I think they kept the furniture from the previous restaurant. They have a huge menu and to my surprise the coffee was good. Okay, this was SUCH a pleasant surprise! We've passed this place a number of times, but it looks like they've recently undergone some rebranding. The entire aesthetic is perfect for Roanoke. We were seated almost immediately, which was a pleasant surprise for a Sunday brunch. We actually both ordered the same thing: the Dallas. The menu is actually really extensive, which was somewhat overwhelming at first. Everything looked delicious! The Dallas came with a crepe topped with bananas and nutella, smoked sausage, eggs, hashbrowns, and toast. The portions and side options were extremely generous. The sausage was good, eggs were cooked over medium as requested, and I loved my hashbrowns. The crepes were definitely a treat. I only wish that there was some Nutella inside the crepe as well, not just on top. That said, it truly was delicious. The coffees we ordered were fine. Our waitress was great and very attentive! Food came out a little slow, but nothing that's unreasonable for peak hours. Parking here is great as it's located in a fairly large strip mall. Tried this place for the first time and lemme tell ya it was awesome. Not only was the food sooooo good. The staff was extremely kind and happy and in turn my 3 year old loved the place and the staff as well. Happy kiddo = happy parents. They said they recently got a new menu and everything looked yummy I got the avocado toast and eggs, my husband got a pancake and eggs meal and my lil one got the Mickey Mouse pancake and he lit up when it came. It's fun and adorable. We will definitely be back it's perfect since I am not a breakfast person it is open til 2:30 and has some non breakfast meals making it perfect for a lil brunch. read more

I honestly was not expecting this place to be that great but I was SO wrong. First off, we were greeted with a beautiful smile and a welcoming hello. Great service throughout the visit and the environment was very welcoming and bright! I have not had food like this in a very long time. The potato's were literally perfect, soft on the inside and just a little bit of crunch to it. The fruit was super fresh and eggs were perfectly cooked. I could go on. The orange juice was not cheap but WORTH EVERY PENNY and I most definitely will be going there again and starting off my meal with their fresh squeezed orange juice! read more

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. We said we wanted a table for 2 but wanted to WAIT at the bar. My name got crossed off and a couple after us was seated. My husband had to ask the hostess if we would be seated. At the bar, no one even approached us or gave us a menu. After we were sat, we were given a drink menu, not even a food menu. After almost 10 minutes, a server approached and asked what we wanted to drink. No hi my name is or sorry for the wait. He said they were out of espresso after my husband attempted to order 2 different coffees. I ordered a cranberry mimosa, which I never received. After an additional 10 minutes, still no menus or a drink, not even a follow up. So we got up and left and will NOT go back. Not a manager in site from what we could see.
