Great place! We stopped by in between our daughter's softball games, and we are so glad we did! Food was excellent. Service was awesome! From the cashier, to the busser, to the owners (saw their picture on their website and recognized them) that were in the kitchen and clearing tables. Great great friendly service, and very very good food, plus the food was pretty too. Even the bathrooms were nice! You can tell they paid attention to every detail. My first time at this new restaurant in the Versmendi neighborhood in New Braunfels. It's a trendy looking counter-service restaurant, with an interesting menu. I tried the breakfast egg roll "shareable", which was a crispy egg roll wrapper, stuffed with scrambled eggs, bacon and green onion. The thing that made it most delicious was the hot cheese dipping sauce - YUM! I was a bit disappointed that they did not have fresh brewed iced tea, but the lady who took my order assured me that the tea in the fountain was good. It really was. In fact their fountain sodas are a unique variety. I don't drink coffee, but they also had some interesting flavored syrups at the self-service coffee station. It's a new place, so was crowded. I had to wait a little while, but I think that's to be expected at a new and unique place. After I got my food, I was checked on several times, and the staff was not only attentive, but friendly. I look forward to trying some of their other menu items on my next visit. read more

Outstanding mom and pop breakfast shop. All of the workers and servers are so warm and welcoming. I walked in at about 10:45 and the place was packed with a line outside the door and people were fussing at me when I went straight to the door to order to go. No way I was going to cut the line. These people are serious about waiting to enjoy some delicious yummy food. I ordered the avocado toast then came back after church for the breakfast egg rolls and the bacon fried rice! Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in NB. The service is unmatched. The owner's truly care about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing everything we tasted melted in our mouths. We tried "breakfast." this morning and had an overall wonderful experience. We met Sarah and Joey, the owners, and called them over to remark on what a great job they had done in this restaurant concept. They were a delight to speak with. The food was fantastic and different but what impressed me even more was the attention to detail in absolutely everything. The silverware had a great weight in your hand, the dishes were not run of the mill restaurant dishes but looked like they could have come from a Crate and Barrel. The open kitchen was spotless and busy but not overly noisy as some open kitchens can be. All in all we WILL come back and you should try it too! read more

We arrived at Breakfast around 9am. It was already packed. We choose to stay and check it out. We were very happy with that decision. The owners were very nice and busy interacting with guests. They were constantly cleaning and getting people in and seated. We ordered the bacon fried rice. DELICIOUS!!!!! My husband ordered the breakfast sandwich. It was very good and plentiful serving. Extremely rude service! Wife owner made my girlfriend very uncomfortable while I was away from the table. She didn't want the food that I had brought along with the food that we both bought from her restaurant. I totally understand that. But confronting my girlfriend with attitude and disgust while I'm away from the table is not how you run a business. She proceeded to hide from civil confrontation. Had a great experience at breakfast. We came in around 8:30 and there were plenty of seats available. The cashiers were super friendly, quick, and knowledgeable on the menu. As we ate, the staff stopped by on multiple occasions to see if we needed anything, and chat about the food. As my fellow millennials know, we are de facto avocado experts, and theirs was the best I've ever had at that price point! What a disappointment!!! Such a terrible experience won't ever return. Waffles arrived soggy and our other meal arrived incomplete-the hash browns were still being cooked we were told. They arrived after eggs and bacon were eaten. Which didn't make a difference as they weren't edible anyway. They are deep fried balls that released grease when cut into. Tried another "hashie" as they are called and some kind goo oozed out that maybe was cheese ? Didn't taste like it one small bite was enough. Not worth a return trip. read more
