A busy breakfast place is probably a good breakfast place. And BoB was just that. FOOD: The menu covers most of the diner breakfast bases, but often with an interesting twist. I had a conventional (but well-made) smothered breakfast burrito. My wife had poppyseed french toast, lightly battered, with lingonberry jam. We also ordered a set of donut holes -- which we really didn't need, but, damn, amazingly crispy and sweet and flavorful. Heck, even the coffee was good, which is often a breaking point for most brunch diners. SERVICE: Despite the wall-to-wall crowds, the service was friendly, attentive, and managed to get to us for coffee refills as needed. Bravo. AMBIANCE: The only place where things break down a bit. The place is no fancier than a normal diner setting (though the vintage photos of Broadway are nice). But there is not a spare square inch in how the tables and chairs are deployed, and the crowd can required no less. The result was things like pushing two deuces together to make a seven-top, and difficulty with folk leaving if they had to put a jacket on after they got up. This is not a quiet, or intimate, or even fully comfortable dining experience ... though the food and service make up for it. NET-NET: Compared to the Breakfast Queen down the street? BQ has more options, BoB has more interesting twists; BQ feels more diner, BoB is chock-a-block crowded; both places have great service. And, honestly, I'd go back to either of them. read more

Once seated, our party of four only had two place settings, so we had to ask for extra silverware and napkins. My *favorite* brunch spot in all of Colorado! This is one of those rare places where no matter what you order, you're going to love it. They also do a great job accommodating a wide range of dietary needs, which makes it an easy choice for any group. Their website even has a waitlist option, which is a lifesaver since there always seems to be a line out the door no matter the day. That said, two-tops usually get in within 10-15 minutes, even when it's packed, since many of the parties are larger groups and families. If you go, the bacon-wrapped figs are a must. Choosing a single "best" dish is nearly impossible, but the jalapeño benny hits every single time. The potato pancake bites are incredible, the three-cheese grits are rich and comforting, and their Monte Cristo is superb. What a great little place. I met my attorney there for breakfast to discuss a few matters. Parking was easy and right in front of the door. The place has a very local feel and is decorated with a lot of Colorado specific stuff. We were seated immediately but I suspect on weekends, you might want to make a reservation or prepare to wait. This place was fairly busy on a Thursday at 9am. Our server, a beautiful young woman named Jordyn was a joy to deal with. She was personable, fast, efficient and out of the way all at the same time. A very unique skill most servers simply don't have. My smothered breakfast burrito was amazing and my attorney loved his Swedish eggs. The bill was extremely reasonable and we met for an hour beyond the completion of our breakfast without so much as a word or pressuring "looks". SECOND of all - Although tiny, the space is pretty mighty in that it can hold a large number of guests in a variety of seating arrangements - including a large community table and outdoor patio. The morning we arrived, it was beyond crowded but we snuggled into a back booth, which was perfect for just the two of us. THIRD (ly) - Staff is ultra-friendly, welcoming and service is lickety-split. In a matter of minutes of sitting down, our server greeted us, took our drink orders and delivered them in record time. She consistently ensured our water and coffees were refilled and engaged in friendly banter - which made for a nice interaction. We even boxed up our leftovers and gave me a to-go coffee for the road. LASTLY - The menu is massive - featuring something for everyone! Specials are notated on the chalk board up front and all sound absolutely mouthwatering! We started with an order of mini donuts which were perfectly fried and delicious with the perfect dipping sauces - a vanilla frosting and strawberry jam! First of all- the cocktails are phenomenal. We tried a few different ones including the Irish Pancake shot, Paloma, Pickle Bloody Mary, and the Italian Screw driver. I don't have anything bad to say about a single one of them. In fact I would like another Irish Pancake shot! My partner and I shared the Blue Crab cake Benedict special with a side of silver dollar pancakes. Now, these were full sized pancakes and they were WONDERFUL. Think quality McDonald hot cakes. The Benedict was also very good, more crab than filler. However, I probably wouldn't get them again. I would do a different Benedict. If I said anything negative it would be that I wanted the hash browns a little more crispy but that's just personal preference. We will be going back. This place was incredible in my opinion. Service was top tier and it felt like a cozy breakfast at your aunts house. I give it a 8.5! read more

I asked the server which she'd recommend between the Carnitas Benedict and the Garden State Benedict. She said for $1 more I could get one of each - great! When they arrived I tried a bite of each. The chopped up pork (Carnitas) was very dry and COLD. Not just not hot or not warm, but it actually was COLD, like it had just been scooped out of a pan sitting in a reach-in fridge. The server stopped by soon after, looked at my plate, and asked if the eggs were overdone. They were a bit, but I said they were OK. I told her about the Carnitas, and she brought me a replacement Garden State Benedict. The english muffins were the toughest I've ever had, with bottoms that were difficult to cut through with a knife, like they had been sitting on a tray in a warming oven for over an hour. They couldn't have been freshly toasted. I didn't mention those to the server, just ate them. The room was pleasant and busy. The hollandaise sauce was good, homemade as claimed, and the hashbrowns were OK. Service was top notch. Those factors cause me to give three rather than fewer stars. Many others seem to love the place. But the big let-down on the food makes it unlikely I will return. read more

Great tap water! Yes, this review is about water. H2O. Englewood water has this weird earthy flavor which I find off-putting and would leave me bringing my own or trying to remember to chug before I came here. I don't know what the deal is with that but BoB seems to have gotten a filter and the water and other drinks taste so much better. Also, the staff is attentive and friendly (thanks Emily!) the food is unique (where else do you get a Truffle scramble?) and the space is bright and cheery. Maybe that was the fig but it was really sweet and would have preferred a more savory option. The fig Brie apple omelette was what really caught my attention and was not disappointed. Yes it's like sweet charcuterie in an egg but altogether it made for a delicious time. Strawberry romanoff pancakes are tart and sweet all at once. The sauce in it was like a tart lemon cream sauce. I'm not sure what makes pancakes romanoff, but google has just told me it's the fancy strawberry sauce on top. Altogether yummy and ate the whole serving. Our server was super nice and casually funny, nothing forced. Would come back. I preferred sitting outside because it was quieter and easier to hear. We were looking for a new spot to try for brunch. I wanted bottomless mimosas this morning. After doing some research & review reading, I decided to try this place. It was around 20 mins from our house, but absolutely worth the little drive. First, we lucked out & found someone backing out of a parking lot that was packed full. The tables are closed together, just FYI for neurodivergent people with anxiety issues, like myself. But I quickly got comfortable bc the energy in the atmosphere was very positive & welcoming. Our server Jasmine was astounding!! Super cheerful & seems to have her timing down to perfection. I ordered the specialty bottomless Mimosas (today it was orange juice, grapefruit juice, peach schnapps & champagne & topped with a gummy shark. She just kept filling me up without even asking, which was so awesome. It was only $14 and some change. Which is what I've spent on one Martini at my 2nd fave brunch spot (this place now taking 1st place). We also ordered the jalapeño bacon wrapped figs. They were perfect!
