Yes! I don't know why in the world it took me so long to try this place but I am glad I did! I went here with my lady for breakfast this morning and was very impressed! The place was PACKED at like 10am in the morning. We waited for about 25 minutes for a booth to open up which wasn't bad at all. Our waitress was really good and prompt as I am a stickler for service! I got the Works Omelet which was basically every ingredient they had all into one Omelet. The Omelet had ham, sausage, bacon, green peppers, onions, jalepeños, mushrooms, jack and cheddar cheese. I also got hashbrowns and toasts. The hashbrowns were a little undercooked but were good and the toast had no butter on it which was my only issue. I also got a short stack (2) blueberry pancakes which were delicious (you have to ask for whipped cream). Everything was very good, and I couldn't have asked for a better breakfast! Breakfast time is unique and it's breakfast menu is extensive. My favorite is the pecan pancakes. The order comes with 3 huge pancakes smothered with pecans inside and out. I end up taking a pancake home because 2 pancakes fill me up. The pancake syrup is very tasty. I have never ordered anything for breakfast that wasn't great. Their food is plentiful and cooked to order. Their prices are also reasonable. If you go for breakfast get there early because the place fills up fast. So this is the perfect definition of a diner, a big diner, but a diner nonetheless. The food is decent and plentiful...and cheap! I have had several different dishes here, from waffles and bacon to omelettes. The best was the "South of the Border" omelette. Sausage, cheese, onions, jalapeños, sour cream, pico de gallo made the omelette pretty tasty! add a side of homefries and you have a meal. Very TERRIBLE service. There was hair in our food. The hostess said our food would be made over and we waited over 20 minutes for the food to be remade, only for someone to tell us they will NOT make the food over and that we would HAVE have to pay for the food with hair in it. The waitress told us that she WILL NOT made the food over because "She felt that if it were her she would not want to eat there." That decision was not up to her and she made the decision for us. When it was time to pay they EXPECTED us to leave a tip. The manager was no where to be found. When we left I called to speak with a manager and people were on the phone impersonating a manager and they preceded to tell me that they DO NOT have corporate because corporate doesn't exist for their company and that they have a box in the front of the store to make a "complaint." My family was the ONLY African American people in there at the time and they just brushed the issue off like it was NO BIG DEAL. I do not recommend this establishment. I moved not too far from Breakfastime and had to check it out. It is very clean and open and the staff is friendly. Portions are huge and prices are very reasonable. I had the bananas foster french toast and added fruit and bacon. They use thick bread for the french toast and the banana topping is rich but not overly sweet. Plus the bananas were not mushy. The small fruit salad was generous and had several kinds of fruit. The bacon was crispy. I tried a bite of my husband's omelet and biscuit. They bake a good biscuit. The omelet was tasty and I enjoyed the fresh pico that came with it. They do serve lunch so I plan to try that in the future but this will be my new go to breakfast place. read more

We enjoyed a great breakfast at Breakfastime. I order the Hungry Man Breakfast Platter. Let me tell you, you better bring a big appetite to handle this meal. It was at least 4 eggs on top of a huge order of home fries with chopped tomatoes and jalepeno. I also got my biscuit topped with their sausage gravy. It was so filling that it caused me to ask for a box for leftovers. My fiancee got the bacon cheeseburger (she's unique) and said it was very tasty & juicy. I love this place! I go almost every weekend and have breakfast at the counter! Shannon is an awesome waitress! Everything on the breakfast menu is wonderful, and the orzo, spinach, tomato, and feta cheese soup is homemade and amazing! They also have some very good looking homemade desserts and baklava! Everyone has been wonderful to me and extremely friendly, even though I have read comments on some websites that some people feel regulars get 'preferred' treatment. I can only give a 4 instead of a 5 because I think some of the lunch menu is not homemade but frozen and not as tasty as the breakfast items. On my first visit,It was 9:45 on a weekday and was told a 30-40 minute wait.My second time was about the same.Finally at a earlier time on my way to have our vehicle serviced I did not have to wait on a table.I was seated and my server brought my coffee and water as I decided on a very full menu.My choice was Hash,eggs hash browns and wheat toast.My meal was good and a plenty as was the service.On my second trip I did have to wait on a table maybe about 10 minutes.On this trip I had country ham,eggs scrambled grits and toast.And again my food and service was fine.On my third trip my wife and I where coming out off Winston-Salem and needed some late breakfast so I was not really sure.It can be crowded even on a weekday.But we maybe waited a few minutes on a table. The waitress was super friendly, but disappeared for a period of time after we ordered our drinks. She was very apologetic and said she was helping with a large party. The menu is fairly large with lots of options. I loved the meal combos they had. It wasn't your typical meat, egg and side. I had Andre's Sample Platter. It had country ham, smoked sausage, and pork tenderloin (fried or grilled), eggs, choice of hash browns, home fries, grits, or gravy. I had the hash browns, as the home fries are cooked on the flat top, and I wanted them fried. The smoked sausage, and country ham were awesome!! The pork tenderloin was in an almost chicken tender batter, but I found it needing some more season in the batter. The tenderloin wasn't bad, but I have had better. The gravy was the same way, a little on the bland side. Some pepper and a shot of hot sauce did it some justice. I don't typically put hot sauce and pepper in my food, but it really needed some. My wife was thrilled with the healthy options. She had egg whites, turkey sausage, and one of the best freshest fruit bowls we have ever seen. My biggest complaint was the signs at the check out. The restaurant has lots of nice decor in thew walls. Then at the register are multiple hand written signs. There was one about seating large groups and small groups and wait times that I thought was a little tacky. I will be back, I want to try the tenderloin grilled next time. read more

My family and I have been customers of Breakfastime on Hwy 150 since it first opened and have always loved the food. I don't know what's happened lately, but the last few months of us ordering our weekend breakfast and picking it up have been a nightmare. The orders are either missing items or we are getting something totally different from what we ordered. We have called in the past and complained, but it's now become an every weekend issue. For example, today the toast we got had burnt edges and was rock hard. The french toast had no powdered sugar and no butter or syrup, and I got a completely different omelet and sandwich from what I ordered. My mom's order was missing a biscuit, but we did get the sausage gravy. There were no napkins or plasticware and the cheese grits on both omelet orders was packed in so full it came spilling out of the containers in the bag and got all over the inside of the bag into our other orders & also spilled out in my car. I ordered a side of Avocado (whole one) and got a tiny sliver of a half, but was charged full price. The omelet I ordered was a California, but what I got was a Vegetarian & the sandwich I ordered was an Avocado BLT, but what I got was some kind of Avocado Chicken Club Sub. It's really hard to check your order at the To-Go counter because of space constraints and all of the other orders that are up there. There's just not the space to take out all of the packed containers and lay them out on the counter to check them all before you leave and so we're discovering all this missing & wrong stuff after we get it home & have the space to go through it. When I've called in the past to complain I was told the orders are checked before they make it to the counter, but for the last 3 months, every order we've placed each weekend has been this bad. We hate to not go back to this place because we've loved it for years now, but this is just unacceptable & the problems aren't being fixed. We love you Breakfastime, but we are gonna have to order our weekend breakfast elsewhere. It's not fun to look forward to a great breakfast and then be so disappointed that you don't even want to eat it. Thank God we aren't picky & are still able to eat the incorrect items, however, we want to pay for and receive what we've ACTUALLY ordered. This level of UN-INSPECTION has just gotten too out of control. read more

I have been there 3 separate occasions and ordered the same thing each time, and each visit came with different results (the second being the worst). The place can, and will, get busy at certain times of the morning. Forget it on a weekday morning, we had almost a 30 minute wait, even with people before us just giving up and walking out. We've been eating at Breakfastime since it opened years ago. They've always been consistently good. The waitresses are always very friendly and make you feel right at home. There is almost always a wait to be seated, but I can't recall a time in which I had to wait more than a few minutes. They have the best pancakes! I'd have to say the times I've ordered a different breakfast or lunch entree, I've been kind of disappointed. They were decent but just didn't quite hit the spot for me. That's just personal preference though. Prices are decent and portions are fairly hearty. Considering that the restaurant is almost always packed it's never overly loud. You can have a conversation without feeling like you have to shout. Breakfastime is easily one of my favorite places in the area for breakfast. read more
