Chicken tenders with a side of Caesar salad
    Jorge C.

I'll start with the beer since it is a brewery. The beer selection was good, all local. I had the Breakside IPA and the Bayside IPA. They were both full of flavor, I was very impressed. I also ordered the chicken tenders with a side of their beer battered sidewinder fries. The tenders were average and I didn't receive my fries, I got a Caesar salad instead. I was ok with it thinking it might be a sign to eat a salad instead. A couple minutes later, my fries showed up. They were really good, probably the best part of the meal. The ambience was kinda loud but not enough to stop you from having a conversation. It's definitely a place to stop by if you're in the area. It wasn't too crowded to the point where I walked in and was able to find seating at the bar. Overall, it was a chill place to be at but nothing really stood out for me.

We came for wiener week. They were busy but we got seated almost immediately at the bar. We ordered nachos, their special pizza hotdog, and the burger with beer combo. Sadly we asked for the blue cheese for the burger to be on the side since I don't like blue cheese, but they put it in the burger. So I can't speak to the burger. My fiancé liked it though! The nachos were good, but missing some sort of sauce since it lacked flavor. Otherwise, this was still a pretty good meal! The beers here are great!

We originally planned to go to the restaurant across the street 'hey Luigi' but were told we needed reservations. It was a lot smaller than we thought. We walked around a few blocks and stopped in at like 3 other places and everywhere was busy, with a wait time. This was Valentine's Day about 18:30. We saw this place and I liked that there was no was sitting outside by the fire. I love having the space to ourselves. The last time my friend and I hung out we had the fire to ourselves so it was nice to have it again. I have anxiety when I'm in public so having the space outside to ourselves was perfect. The girl that was serving us was great, I don't remember her name. The bartender guy was a bit sassy waved me down saying I had to come to him to order. SMH lol. We both did their $15 deal, beer and burger. The burger was tasty, typical bar burger. The dip was ok, the pita bread was good, the beer was delicious. We would go back. It's a cute clean spot. Their bathroom was clean too which was nice.

Yummy food, good beer, I would like to order thru a person instead of a qr code but this way I don't have to tip - We will be back, try the dirty fries!

Came here while in town for a brief stop. Had walked by a day prior and noticed how busy it was. Felt like a beer and some grub so thought to hit em up. Came in on a weekday and quickly greeted and offered any open spot. Lots of great beer and a variety of things on the menu. We ordered the Nachos, pretzel, and some burgers and of course some lovely brews. Beer came quickly and cold and crisp. Pretzel was amazing and dough was on point. Nachos and burgers were all made perfectly. Well worth trip if you re in the area

Went to here for lunch yesterday! Sat on the patio and it was beautiful. Plenty of outdoor seating. Breakside has a nice extensive menu, that will cater towards meat lovers and vegetarians. The usual, but better end, brewery, food. I had the Cobb salad, which was fresh, flavorful, and well done. Breakside also has my favorite beers in Portland. They also have a nice wine list, and cocktails for those that do not like beer. They have a QR code available for ordering. Which makes it nice. Definitely a go to place for lunch, dinner, and drinks.

Once again Breakside Brewery is amazing! I haven't ever been to this location before until recently and the beer is as creative, refreshing and fun as it ever has. We got two different beers on this outing here. We started off with the Shades of Purple Pale Ale. This was a nice one for sure with it's flavors of floral, spicy, brown sugar and cinnamon. It was also an extremely aromatic beer too! But our favorite for this sitting was a fruit beer called I Purple You. Quite literally it's Purple (or pink) and it was a real joy to drink. It had the presence in the flavor profile of Graham Cracker and berries. Light bodied and refreshing which is what we desired on this particular day. Breakside continues to keep their beers interesting and experimental with it's beers and that is always a good thing as far as Steve and I are concerned!

Nice happy hour spot located in downtown Beaverton (directly across the street from where my husband gets his haircut at Dita Barbers). Street parking is easy and the vibe is super chill. I met a friend for happy hour on a Thursday night. We initially ordered beers at the indoor bar and then we migrated outside to one of the large picnic tables under the heated pergola. Service was prompt and helpful. I'm not much of a beer drinker lately so I asked the bartender for a pale ale & he recommended their Rainbows & Unicorns, which I loved. It was light and crisp with a peach/pineapple flavor noted. I'd definitely order it again. My husband joined us and ordered a variety of food from the carts available: fries, onion rings, pizza & taquitos, which were incredible. Overall, good vibes, service and food. Easy & approachable. Great place to gather with friends.

    Open for dine-in yet?

Yes! Slabtown is open for dine-in.

Are dogs allowed on the patio?

Yes, but only on the Patio

Does anybody know if this location has a kids play area? Or anything to entertain kids? Thanks :-).

I do not recall one and would have as we have two little ones that would have been all over that. Great kids menu and they certainly understand the fact that kiddos are ticking time bombs so get their food out quickly concept that eludes many… Read more

I wish we could bring the kids to hang out with us on the patio at least, but Portland permitting is weird AF. I am a big fan of the indoor/outdoor flow for the space, especially on nice weather afternoons like we have had recently. Outdoor seating is limited, so be prepared to sit inside. Interior seating is not the most comfortable, with former church bleachers that are quite bouncy or large and hard game of thrones-like high chairs. The team is super friendly and will send you to the food station or the bar depending on your needs, and, with the good quality Mexican cuisine on service, you'll want a taco or two. The brewery specializes in Hazy/IPAs, to come expecting to enjoy these PNW basics. I swapped between them and non-alcoholic options since hazies are not my favorite but everyone I was with loved them. The restrooms are clean and there are plenty of bike stands to make this a car-free journey.

It's okay I would be tired too. We were sat at the bar stools, which were uncomfy, but fit the vintage vibe so can't really complain. *Bonus points because they have cholula (best hot sauce btw) Spinach omelette: 7/10 it was a hunk of soggy spinach inside egg, not much to say except it was quite mushy. I would try a different omelette next time. I wish the spinach & cheese was mixed in with the egg a little instead of a pile in the center. I found the hashbrown to be quite unseasoned but the texture was nice. toasted sourdough was good, came pre-buttered Mancakes (3 stack): 9/10 These are definitely worth trying, I recommend getting 100% maple syrup or a topping/add in as the fake syrup they give you is flavorless. This stack was shared, but I did get flavor fatigue after a while (one man cake is enough haha). these are so worth the price.. $13 for three big plate pancakes! Overall: would go back for the mancakes (and add a topping!) everything was affordable, huge portions, short wait, fun interior, little cramped inside but what can you expect from a popular small diner
