My standard coffee order is a cappuccino, and this one was meh. It felt like I could've jumped back there and made something similar, and I don't know what I'm doing. The "scone-over" was also very meh, did not find any joy in the texture of the dough, taste of the filling, or otherwise. Service was fine. Environment is a kind of shabby-eclectic. They had a lot of business for some reason, plenty of people sitting there longer to work on a laptop, etc. Overall, uninspiring, didn't take any photos. I'm a CA girl and when I walked into Dragonfly Coffee house I felt like I had walked into a quaint and cozy coffee house in Santa Cruz, CA on the border of being a little mountain town. While I shouldn't compare to another state, I call this out because it was warm, welcoming and all around familiar and cozy! A lot of food (pastry) and coffee options. Wonderful roast with my real cup to sip and just sit while I waited for my friend to arrive. The staff is just as lovely! So why 4 stars? It was crazy busy and it was hard to find a seat that allowed us to have a quiet conversation. The number of People coming in I would say reinforces this is a neighborhood favorite however I drove from the SW side to check this place out and ultimately we left and went somewhere else to enjoy conversation. read more

Came by just for a cup of joe but really loved the interior of the space. It was super cozy and you could definitely see the locals coming in to order their pastries. The pastry case was empty by the time we came so you know they must be good. I got one of the special lattes to go and it was alright but nothing too special I would come back for it alone. It is a great neighborhood coffee and tea house. They are proudly serving a lot of snacks and pastries all with a healthier take on than the regular deli pastries. I feel a bit nostalgic when I step foot into Dragonfly Coffee House because it reminds me of a coffee shop back in college where I spent HOURS stuDYING with my friends. This COZY coffee house makes you feel like you're right at home. I love that there's ample SEATING and PLUGS. It's the perfect place for my husband and I to work at when we need a change of scenery from our usual home office. This spot is a local favorite and is quite popular, so it can get a little NOISY. This may not be a good spot for answering calls/taking meetings. But if you can drown out the noise, it's the perfect place to READ A BOOK and sip on some YUMMY coffee. Also! They have a bookshelf in the back that offers plenty of books that you can borrow during your visit. You can tell a lot about a coffee shop based on how they make the simplest of drinks. Gluten free/ dairy free review: I met a friend at this cute little joint. The vibe is very cozy coffee house and I'm here for it. I had the pistachio latte. It was very smooth, not too sweet. I had them change it to oat milk for a small up charge. I gov wit a 5 out of 5. I had the apple muffin that was gluten-free free. I really liked that. It wasn't too sweet. I love there were apple chunks in it. I gave that a 4 out of 5. It was a hint dry but I enjoyed it all the way. I was happy with the location, the service, the food and drink. Definitely a vibe. It's basically got the aura of your living room but in a coffee shop and definitely has warm, cozy vibes. Good for a rainy day for sure. Coffee wise, it's unique for sure. I tried the Stargazer latte, which is honey, toffee and cinnamon latte. Cinnamon was a bit strong for my liking, but the other flavors were pretty good. I normally get my drinks cold, but since it was a brisker day, I chose for hot latte and it was a good temperature when it came out and despite the toffee and the honey, wasn't too sweet for a latte, which I appreciate. They got a lot of pastries too, and while we didn't try any, I did notice that they sell day old ones for a $1 if you want to give some random things a try. read more

Fun coffee house. This place gives me total Gilmore Girl vibes. The inside is Ute. There are different places to sit. Each time I went I , the place was very busy. They had live music on Friday evening where someone was playing guitar. The homemade apple muffin was so tasty! I asked for it warmed, and it was delicious. There were real apple pieces inside. The coffee itself was ok. I was expecting a bit more since I was in Portland. The staff were ok. I tried different lattes from their speciality menu. All tasted pretty good. I just ordered a cup of drip coffee and my boyfriend had a cardamom latte. They were both very weak. The drip coffee in particular was unpleasant. Whatever roast they are using tastes of tobacco. We were particularly disappointed as the location itself is very cute. read more

I typically save lattes for when I'm treating myself but the "Bees Knees" has become my new guilty pleasure . The "Stargazer" is also top on my list! Definitely my new favorite coffee spot in the city! I have yet to try their pastries but they look amazing as well! The staff are friendly! The friendly barista will answer your questions and give great suggestions if you are on the fence about what to choose. Let me just say the blueberry lemon scone was the best I've ever had!!! Lo and behold: One of the best cappuccinos I've ever had. Not only was it well made but he took the liberty of whipping lavender into the foam, which was near perfect. Great coffee. The staff is always so friendly, regardless of how busy they are. My issue, and the reason I am writing this review is because there are walnuts in the chocolate banana muffin. Why? Walnuts are the worst. Adding walnuts to a delicious muffin is like assigning homework over summer break. You take something wonderful and you ruin it. The store was completely packed, so it was a bit hard walking through to order as the pick-up counter is right next to the cashier as well. It's very cozy inside, especially on a cold fall day, it was nice to huddle inside but again, very cramped. - DRINK - The Stargazer (S - $4.55): This specialty espresso had Honey, Toffee, Macadamia Nut, Cinnamon and steamed milk. All of these ingredients sounded amazing to me so I had to grab it! I opted for Oat Milk substitution - always a plus when shops have multiple alteratives available! - OVERALL - Delicious coffee here! Got the Stargazer Latte to-go awhile back and it's everything you'd want in a tasty cup of latte. I loved how well-balanced the flavors were. You could taste the toffee and macadamia while enjoying the coffee. They got a bunch of other tasty sounding creations too. The inside is super cozy and spacious. There are outdoor seats as well.
