I've heard really good things about the pizza here and finally made it in. It was a nice a hot day but we sat inside to avoid allergies. They had World Cup on the tv and the service was great! Please note you can't be seated until your full party is there so I waited at the bar which is also fun. Every pizza ordered was excellent. We loved the light airy crust with the crispy edges. My friend subbed for gluten free and it was the best she's tasted! I ordered the Green Knight because the sound of lemon ricotta was too irresistible. So good! We all ordered a pizza each and went home with leftovers to enjoy again. The beers were refreshing and I'll have to check out the cocktails next time. Will be back! read more

My favorite beer I've had in Oregon so far. I'm a big fan of hazy IPAs and this place hit the spot. Service was okay. The waiter seemed like they were stretched thin and it took a bit to get served. I didn't know that this location was more of a restaurant. We hadn't planned on eating here, just grabbing a beer before our next stop. Felt a bit awkward not ordering food. On a perfect sunny day, we were looking for a great outdoor patio and this place delivered. Despite the whole city seemingly being out and about, we were fortunate to snag a table, and our order was taken promptly. I had the agua fresca while my husband went with a beer. Both drinks were crisp and refreshing ,perfect for a warm day.We started with the beet salad with burrata and also ordered a pizza. The food was fantastic, and the portions were generous. Service was so great on a wednesday night! Our table shared the caesar salad, which was one of the best I've had! I thought it was perfectly dressed, not too much, the croutons were delicious and I appreciated the black pepper shaker with it! Our pizza had hot honey, pepperoni, peppercini's, and mozzarella cheese. Our waitress was great and replacing our water carafes and asking if the people who ordered drinks wanted refills. She also let us hang out for awhile and chat after she cleared our empty plates. We were really looking forward to trying this spot. We love Detroit pizza. Has anyone been to Emmy squared in Nashville!? Well, we got the Greek pizza. I don't think I've ever had anything like it. On the way home it really smelled good, the tzatziki sauce scent. So, my wife wasn't a fan. She likes Ranch better. I really liked it. The flavors were amazing. It has so much on there, it almost looked like too much, possibly too many roasted garlic, but when is that ever too much?? Everything tasted so good combined together. There even was a little spice, I think pepperoncini. I really want to just try the classic to give it a shot and see what they can do. The crust was great, and crispy. I will say we have had Detroit that is deeper, but theirs was really good. Nice job! The location was really nice inside, and the server was friendly. We did just pick it up to go. I want more. Excellent Detroit Style Pizza and good beers. The atmosphere is very bright which I love in a bar, clean and they have a nice sized TV. We did go for a major sporting event when it wasn't overly busy so it would have been nice if they could turn the sound on but they weren't able to do so. Overall though, service is good and the employees are friendly. My biggest complaint and deterrent from Ruse is the high beer prices. $8.50 is quite high for a craft beer in Portland, especially when they are brewing it themselves. Would go way more frequently and be a 5 star if not for that. read more

Best Portland Sandwich sandwich I've had this week, and I've had 5. This was by far the best. Good and friendly. Here is the description: House-made bread, sliced roast beef, horseradish-blue cheese aioli, arugula, caramelized onion, calabrian chili. Served toasted with Ruse beer infused au jus for dipping.
