Frustrating experience. Made 2026 annual family appointments (3+ years now), and accommodated scheduling changes - our request and then doctor request. Went to purchase glasses elsewhere and one printed prescription was from the PREVIOUS visit, 2025. Called immediately (Friday, minutes before 4pm - Memorial Day weekend - no answer, machine message says not turned on). Called again, someone picks up but bad connection. Called again, no answer, same machine message. One more time, no answer. Now after 4pm, cannot place order at other location. Annoyed but nothing we can do. Saturday, called office, no answer, same machine message. Call OC office, receive 2026 prescription. No call, no email from Corona as of 12pm Tuesday. I'll be looking for a new Optometrist. read more

Very disappointed. I wanted to get better frames and support my local optometrists. Just needed a pair of basic readers. First time I picked up one eye was blurred they were unusable. That's ok mistakes happen. Sent away for correction they came back with the problem reversed to the other eye. I never thought for a minute a basic prescription would be beyond them. I tried the local independent, now it's back to the big box Target/warby. Sounds like ownership is changing after a long time, avoid. read more

It's always nice to give a five star review. I don't give those out easily. To start with my 92-year-old mother and I arrived a few minutes late because well it just takes a while with her . When I arrived, we were greeted then taken right back to the first exam area by Pega. She was so kind and considerate to my mother every step of the way always making sure that she wasn't too rough with her and that my mom understood what she was asking her to do. We went into eye exam area where the Doctor greeted mom and again was very kind to her throughout the entire vision exam. Dr. Bernstein was seeing her for the first time and just was so patient with my mom even at times when she was a bit slow to reply . After the exam, we went out to look at glasses. There was absolutely no high pressure with Tracy or Pega. Mom had eye insurance and there was no charge even when Pega added some new nose pads to her current glasses and adjusted them again and again until they were to my mom's satisfaction. Had a great first experience with this office on 4/7/25. The front desk staff was amazing! They were friendly and informative. They did a wonderful job multitasking, checking people in, performing eye exams, helping clients pick out the right frames, and I'm sure a million other things I couldn't see lol. One tech was out so they were short staffed. They seemed to flow really well even without them. I'm sure it's a well oiled machine when they are fully staffed. Tracy was super friendly upon my arrival. She got me all checked in and made me feel like I've been going there for years! Jesus did my eye exam and he was wonderful. He was quick and efficient and walked me through the process as we went (I haven't had an eye exam for close to 20 years). His personality was warm and just like Tracy, made me feel like I've been going there for years. Dr. Benham was also fantastic! She answered all my questions and made sure to get me into the right lenses. The entire experience was awesome and I would recommend anyone looking for an optometrist that doesn't run you through like a cattle call like so many other medical offices do, come to B&B! Dr. Benham and Dr. Bernstein are truly amazing optometrists!! A few months ago, my dad was doing some wood work (without eye protection) and happened to get something in one of his eyes. The pain was unbearable, and so I called BB optometry the next morning and Dr. Bernstein had us come in first thing as an emergency walk in! He was quick yet efficient and thorough, and gave my dad the quality care he deserved. A few days ago, the same thing happened to my dad, but this time with a tree branch! (Maybe eye goggles wouldn't be a bad idea). I called Dr. Benham and she also had my dad come in as her first patient in the afternoon as a walk in. I had such a great experice Had such great service from beginning to end. I was seen at the Corona office. The thing I like about them is they have 2 locations and if they can't see you at their Corona office they can schedule you at their Yorba Linda office. Had my eye exam and everything went smooth. The doctor answered all my questions. Andrea who is part of the staff was so sweet and kind. She helped me find the pair of frames that best fit me. Although I took a while trying on a lot of glasses cause I'm a little picky abs didn't make me feel rushed and and was there with me. I went here for the first time yesterday. I needed glasses and a new prescription. I found this place by email advertisement and Yelp. My appointment began in a punctual manner. I started off with these fancy machines used to test parts of my eyes. Then after that, I met Dr. Bernstein for my eye exam. I must say, the doctor was professional and real nice. I enjoy doctors with a sense of humor. Anyway, I brought my own frames for my new prescription to be filled. Let's face it prescribed lenses, weather you bring your own frames or not, is expensive. They accept CareCredit, so that's awesome. I felt the price was fair. Everyone was professional and happy, which says a lot about this place. Excellent customer service. No issues. Dr, Lisa Benham is one of the most amazing optometrist I've ever seen. I've been seeing her since 1993 after an automobile accident and a torn optic nerve. Then she moved to corona and we continued seeing her as we live in Victorville California which is usually around a 2 Hour Dr. But we don't mind my entire family, my husband and three children all see her plus both of my parents we all make the commute because she's so wonderful, caring, and appreciative that we do come to her.
