We love the Dr. she's very kind , but when it comes to her staff customers service lacks. My son's frames have been misplaced or not ordered.3 times already . This time they called my husband to pick we go and they ordered the incorrect size frames , that's ok people make mistakes (again). Then they try to blame us trying to say we brought the incorrect glasses ....... My son has been walking around with the same pair since January...... the last pair are OLD and scratched I would never have my son walking around like that. ? I have referred many people over to this DOCTOR because like I said she very nice. And every single person has always mention how rude the staff is especially her "manager " Also if u have Medi-cal unfortunately people get treated differently they are rude, as soon as u tell them u are paying cash or have a good insurance they are nice. read more

I was in urgent need of an optometrist, spare of the moment I ended up here.. first let me just say their management stinks... very unprofessional for a few reasons.. 1) I went in and there was a mutual agreement because I was not eligible for insurance VSP to get contracts vs glasses I was recommended by the management to pay cash, which I did and they were to send me an itemized receipt for my flexible spending... 2) they never called me regarding my itemized statement nor to call me to tell me if my glasses were ready. I finally called them after a couple of months and they had the audacity to tell me they called me and left messages which would be evident on my call log and I would have messages in my inbox. I would've preferred they tell me they forgot then to lie to me. I am huge on honesty... Long story short they ended up biling my insurance which they were not supposed to do now they are double dipping which is also committing fraud.. I'm definitely filing a complaint with my insurance company. Save your time, go to another optometrist read more

I found this place years back, my son scratched my eye while playing. I was in so much pain and called different optometrist. Dr. Vo was able to see me and I was so thankful! Within one day my eye was 100% better! I have since made this our family optometrist and highly recommend her! All the staff is professional and friendly! Dirty and unprofessional and OLD inventory. They LOST my glasses. On top of that the front desk receptionist told me if I really needed them to go to this office in Fontana!!! Their office was a MESS when I went to go pick up my glasses. My toddlers toys are better organized than this. I looked at their inventory and it's same thing they have had for over 4 years! Their glasses some are broken for you to test and see and super dusty. When I left I just said this was very unprofessional. How does someone loose a pair of glasses???!!! Oh and the big lady in front all she did was refund me the money and said oh well. On top of that now I need to contact my insurance because I need to find out if they also billed me because they took my insurance for the examination and didn't give me my prescription. They didn't even give me a refund receipt for glasses. Honestly, I would stay away from this place. Inventory is old. Office is unorganized and unprofessional. read more

Thank you Dr. Kristie and staff for the fantastic service! It's been 20+ years since I've had my last optometry visit and I could see that my vision is slowly getting worse at a distance. I made the call to make an appointment with Dr. Kristie to get an exam done and glasses made. Upon arrival, they are very diligent with cleaning and sanitation. Staff greeted me and handed me paperwork that took no longer than 5 minutes to fill out. After that, I was sat into the chair and the eye exam was over with in 15 minutes. This is an old review and I originally was going to give them a pass but felt compelled to confirm all the one star reviews! Horrible front office service. My initial appointment & check up with the Dr. was fine, but when it came time to pick up my glasses they never called. I had to call them to check if my glasses were ready! The fitting was worse. The glasses did not fit right. I told them my concerns & they got defensive. Don't take it personally - just fix the glasses. Yes, I'm picky & like my glasses to not be so lop-sided sorry! Had to come back for contact lens fitting with the Dr. They said to come in anytime they're open. Guess what? I did and the Dr wasn't there. I don't expect her to spend her waking hours there, but don't tell me to come in anytime only to find the Dr. is not in. Bottom line - Poor communication & service. read more

Normally I don't write updates, but felt I had to after reading the LENGTHY 1 star review.....to be very blunt - the person who wrote it is NUTS. I sat down at my computer this morning and a lens fell out of my computer (specific) glasses. ---the screw was gone --so off to the doctor's office I went. I was greeted by not one, but 2 EXTREMELY pleasant young ladies. I presented them with my glasses. I did NOT purchase the glasses there---but Dr Vo had examined my eyes and wrote not one, two but THREE separate RX's for various and specific needs. The gal at the front desk quickly and efficiently replaced the lens for me THEN asked, "would you like me to replace the nose pads - they look worn" Again--I did NOT purchase the glasses there. She very graciously took care of that also. I walked out of there with practically new glasses - NO CHARGE. ONE star for customer service???? NOT HARDLY - 5 STARS ALL THE WAY! read more

I found this location on google maps because it was the closest to me. I decided to come here with my girlfriend to get her exam. Some lady with glasses by the name of Lina or Dina was very rude. As I was gathering some information for my girlfriend she was very rude and in a rude tone she said to me "I am speaking with her". As a guest that's no type of way to give customer service, even as my girlfriend been an adult and been able to take decisions on herself. She shouldn't have given me attitude in any way. Dr.Kristie Vo was actually very nice and helpful with figuring out what I needed. But it was her assistants, or nurses who where very rude and they made me feel very rushed. It seems like they don't care about their patients needs. They make the environment very uncomfortable and they all kept staring while I was trying on my glasses. I scheduled an eye exam with Dr. Vo last November. Even without insurance, her prices were reasonable and I also received a great deal on a pair of glasses. The examination was thorough and she allowed ample time for my eyes to adjust, especially important because I have astigmatism. In the past, optometrists have rushed me through prescription slides without knowing definitively if the strength was better or worse. Dr. Vo discovered that my previous prescription was too strong. She corrected the error and suggested the proper type of contact lens to wear. Dr. Vo wrote me a prescription, allowing me to comparison shop online, without pressuring me to buy higher priced lenses through her store. read more

Terrible place to have your annual exam, which is the most important aspect of eye care. My Opthalmologist was disappointed and surprised that Dr. Vo, who did my annual exams, failed to inform me of the chronic issues going on with my eye. I remember Dr. Vo just telling me my eyes were dry and she never advised me against using contact lenses. It wasn't about my eye hygiene but just my eyes' tolerance to them in general. Since she sold them to me after every exam, I assumed all was right. I'm so disappointed that she didn't examine my eyes very well. I thought her quick (less than 5-10 minute) visits were so convenient only to realize they were quick because she wasn't thoroughly doing her job. Some of the front desk people are also quite rude. If you want to visit here, I recommend just being aware, asking questions despite whatever, and being an advocate for yourself. read more

The 3 young women at the front desk were patient, polite, professional, and most importantly, they were kind. My glasses are useful and perfect! Thanks! I wrote a review back in 2014 in regards to the horrible service I got at this office. To give an update I went in for a routine eye exam that day leaving with Dr. Vo saying I have a eye infection and needs ABX. She would not prescribe me the medication due to me being pregnant at the time. Which is understandable. To make a long story short, I went for a second opinion before seeing a specialist and it turns out Dr. Vo was wrong and I didn't have an eye infection. All I had was dry eyes due to being pregnant and wearing eye contacts. The horrible customer service I had that day has made me not want to go back. Its been a year so I'm hoping they hired new people with better customer services skills. read more

The whole staff is a pleasure to deal with. This is the only place I have gone since I have moved to the area, because I have been completely satisfied with their service. At my appointment yesterday, I was running late (ok VERY late) and they still took me back for my exam right away. They didn't mind that my energetic toddler was running around the office, and they actually kept her entertained. They even gave her a pair of cute little glasses. Dr. Vo took her time with my exam, and was very patient. She makes you feel comfortable right away, as she is very personable and polite. I am confident that I get the best customer service here. I had an eye exam today @ 5:00pm and Dr. Vo made me feel so comfortable during the exam, she was very helpful and I left with some temporary contact lenses close to my vision till mines arrive. I also have a follow up to make sure they are working out & I have no issues with them. After trying three facilities, I finally found a home, I'm comfortable with, this was the best experience! I have been going to this optometrist for 3 years now. And I have never had one problem, the front staff is always friendly and welcoming. The display cases are always clean and they have current product in stock. I like how they let you try the contacts for a week to see if you like them or not.
