Why can't you just hit me out one of these tables? Oh, we only have three service if you ask me, I think that's the real reason with all the bullshit but anyway never actually got inside chose not to wait because I just felt like I was gonna have a horrible experience going forward and the manager if you really was, the manager should technically be working at Wendy's.

It just so happens that I was in New Orleans a few months ago and partook of same at that time. So this will be a direct comparison to Felix's. Bar has a nice setup with a couple TVs showing live sports, but no sound. I was able to connect my phone to get the sound via the Tunity app. Bartender was knowledgeable and easy going. I started with the gumbo and the oysters were served while I was about halfway through the bowl. The gumbo was pretty good and I would definitely get it again. The oysters were super hot and I actually had to wait a few moments before starting in on them. The chargrilled oysters were very good and if I had not had them in New Orleans I would have been most pleased. Of course, these were not as good as Felix's. But if you are staying at the Hilton, you absolutely need to walk over to Drago's. Check the portrait of Drago in the entryway ( he passed a few years ago).

They do their boudin several ways, in a wrap (eggroll form), hot boiled, and fried boudin balls. The hot boiled way were my favorite, there was a nice mixture of spices, and a little kick. The cracklins were good, definitely fried extra hard if you like it that way. They're much different than Mexican style chicharons with a crispy layer on the outside, and tender on the inside, this is crispy all throughout. They have dine in at the moment, but with a limited menu. Place is spacious and clean. Once you're done eating, head over next door to their seafood market! They carry a variety of specialty meat, seasonings, and ready to cook items from Louisiana! They're still in the process of getting everything in, so the market is about 1/3 full at the moment. Wife fish was cold, others potatoes would not melt butter quite cold. Brought out second corn dogs were split open and burned. I tried to explain maybe their oven was not working properly. The owner came out and asked what are problem was. I tried to explain our five meals were cold. She told us get off the property she owned it and we just wanted a free meal. I live close by and was looking forward to a close restaurant. This is not the place to go sorry!
