This is the 'Pick 2' fried combo where I chose fried catfish and chicken tenders with Cajun fries.
    Yolanda S.

The food is ok. Ive had two dishes so far. The catfish dinner and now the cajun rice. On a scale of 1 to 10 i gave each dish a 4. It was just average. The rice was oily and very salty. I did not taste any 'cajun' seasoning. I tasted nothing but salt. The fried fish i had a few months earlier was oily and salty as well. I wont buy either dish again. Service is never really 'friendly'. The workers never smile. Im use to small town Texas type of friendly with large smiles and boisterous greetings when you enter. So adjusting to the lackluster customer service in Jackson has been hard.

I've dined here on a prior visit to Jackson, me and we decided to visit again during this trip. It was a nice experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and attentive, especially our waitress. We started off with the crab boil which had a nice flavor. The crab was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The crawfish fried rice was another highlight, with tender crawfish complementing the savory rice. The calamari was a delightful surprise, offering a Cajun twist to this classic dish. The Cajun and buffalo wings were a real treat. The balance of heat and seasoning was on point, satisfying both my love for bold flavors and a touch of spice. Lastly, the red beans and rice were the epitome of comfort food done right. Creamy, hearty, and packed with authentic Cajun flavors, it was the perfect side to accompany our meal. Overall, Breaux Bridge Cajun Restaurant met my expectations with its delectable spread of Cajun delights. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this restaurant is for anyone craving an authentic taste of Louisiana.

First seafood boil in Jackson and it far exceeded my expectations. Seafood was fresh, juicy and flavorful - amazing! We also got garlic noodles and fried okra which were both really good too! The service was great and our server was very attentive. 10/10 recommend if you're in Jackson!

OUR ABSOLUTE FAVORITE seafood boil place. this location specifically. great prices, spacious seating & friendly staff. i've been here three times now & it never disappoints. my problem with a lot of seafood boils is that some restaurants over season the boils making it too salty sometimes or overwhelming in flavors. anyways, their boils are amazing & i would recommend to anyone in the area. my first visit i ordered a pound of shrimp with andouille (sausage) & i got the kickin seasoning, with mild spice. everything was perfect. my next visit, i ordered half pound of shrimp & snow crab legs this was even better, not too salty not too spicy but perfect for me. also would recommend the steamed oysters with their house sauce they were delicious. the raw were okay, i've had better but they aren't bad. this will be my go to for a boil from now on :)

I went during lunch time so it was really quiet and laid back. My order was taken and brought out in a decent time. I always get the "special" season mix and hot. I like the proportion, it was hot and fresh and not overly salty.

I called in my order of two bowls of steamed white rice, a half a pound of sausage, and 3 corn on the Cobb. The corn on the Cobb is currently advertised at $3.00 on the website. However the agent informed me that the price has changed and it was now $3.50 and she said this was an incredible amount of anger and attitude. I informed her that the restaurant was suppose to sell at the advertised price but that I would speak to someone about it later and as soon as I said that it sounded like she slammed down the phone. I heard nothing. I ended up calling back and she answered and before I could say anything she said someone else 'would deal with me'. When the other woman came to the phone I started to give my order and I mentioned the advertised price showed $3.00 and she cut me off and said 'no one would be honoring the price on the website'. As I was speaking to her the other female was in the background yelling and insulting me. I could hear her very well. I mentioned to the woman that I could hear her and she cut me off again and told me in so many words she 'didnt have time to address that and for me to continue with the order". I finished my order and she said one of the part owners was inside the restaurant but that the owners 'never spoke with customers' and "he's not going to discount anything for you'. WOW... Talk about being incredibly rude. I like the food here but the way they handled the price being different on the website was just to ignore it and go off on the customer who brought it to their attention.

Why can't you just hit me out one of these tables? Oh, we only have three service if you ask me, I think that's the real reason with all the bullshit but anyway never actually got inside chose not to wait because I just felt like I was gonna have a horrible experience going forward and the manager if you really was, the manager should technically be working at Wendy's.

It just so happens that I was in New Orleans a few months ago and partook of same at that time. So this will be a direct comparison to Felix's. Bar has a nice setup with a couple TVs showing live sports, but no sound. I was able to connect my phone to get the sound via the Tunity app. Bartender was knowledgeable and easy going. I started with the gumbo and the oysters were served while I was about halfway through the bowl. The gumbo was pretty good and I would definitely get it again. The oysters were super hot and I actually had to wait a few moments before starting in on them. The chargrilled oysters were very good and if I had not had them in New Orleans I would have been most pleased. Of course, these were not as good as Felix's. But if you are staying at the Hilton, you absolutely need to walk over to Drago's. Check the portrait of Drago in the entryway ( he passed a few years ago).

Their price hands down is the best around. $2.99lb, you can purchase by the sack or per pound. $4.99lb for boiled, but they offer a deal for 3lbs, 5lbs, and 10lbs. We got ours medium spicy, crawfish was huge!! Nice little kick, but I'll probably get it spicier next time. They do their boudin several ways, in a wrap (eggroll form), hot boiled, and fried boudin balls. The hot boiled way were my favorite, there was a nice mixture of spices, and a little kick. The cracklins were good, definitely fried extra hard if you like it that way. They're much different than Mexican style chicharons with a crispy layer on the outside, and tender on the inside, this is crispy all throughout. They have dine in at the moment, but with a limited menu. Place is spacious and clean. Once you're done eating, head over next door to their seafood market! They carry a variety of specialty meat, seasonings, and ready to cook items from Louisiana! They're still in the process of getting everything in, so the market is about 1/3 full at the moment. I spy with my little eye a hot food bar in the market area, that would be great for anyone on the go that wants a quick snack. Included the menus for yall. What's on the white board is what they're currently offering, and the paper menu is for what's to come.
