Our tour guide was Jamie and we took the "ghost" tour. Other than telling various locations where people had died, there was nothing ghost related in the tour. It was more of a historical tour of Breckenridge, which might have been okay; however, the guide kept getting details confused, correcting herself, and then getting confused again. She did have an iPad with a supposed picture of a ghost that she shared, but even the kids in our group could identify it as a bad photoshop. All in all, we felt it was false advertising regarding the content of the tour and the presentation was not that entertaining. read more

We took the tour... Gail did an excellent job telling stories and historical information of Breckenridge. We have done a lot of tours... But what made this one more fun was that she actually handed out dowsing rods so that we could ask questions to the ghosts that haunted haunted buildings. Be sure to dress warmly on cold nights... We took the "English Tea Tour" in Breckenridge this last week. Our tour guide was Gertrude Engle, the banker's wife AKA Gail. I thought our tour guide Gail/Gertrude looked familiar and when back to the condo I pulled up our 2011 girls trip pictures and there she was. She actually had the same hat on as in my picture from 2011 and to be quite honest had not aged at all. Back in 2013 Gail started her own history tours Breckenridge tours as she wanted to give additional history. We learned so much history of the area and of the time period around 1910 in general. My friend, Barbara, and I were able to escape for a girls' night while in the Breckenridge area. We're so happy we took the Ghost Tour. Gail is a fun guide who is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Breckenridge and its surroundings areas. Definitely a must do to not only learn of some of the local "spirits" around, but also to learn a lot of the history behind Breckenridge. LOVED this tour! The woman had a fun outfit and a cool accent. We met her by the bridge and dredge boat on a brisk summer night - be sure to bring a coat. Her stories were very entertaining, and she gave us little toys to keep our hands busy and our minds wandering - dousing rods to detect energy, EMF meters and laser pointer temperature takers. We wandered through the town, hearing stories about the dark side of the real history of Breckenridge. The price was right and it really was a blast! I highly recommend! Probably more fun if there are no kids in your group as sometimes history isn't pretty. ;) read more

This haunted tour is so fun and different. It's a great way to get a little unique history of Breckenridge, and some interesting personal insight! The walking tour is interesting, with different stops and stories, and the guide is charming, she answered lots of questions from our enthusiastic group. The tarot reading at the end was eerily acurate, we really liked Mr. E. The whole family enjoyed this entire experience. I highly recommend it.
