It was the most breathtaking and adventurous rock crawling we've ever done. Jon was incredibly knowledgeable about the terrain and surroundings, teaching us a lot about the land and its history. He allowed us to immerse ourselves in nature with quiet moments to enjoy the ride and scenery. We drove a raised Jeep along a deserted road, and in the four hours, we didn't see a single person. There were 8 of us on the hour and a half ride stopping about halfway to take pictures. I appreciate that they picked horses to match the riders and their different riding levels. We were picked up in Frisco and didn't have to worry about anything but remembering our swimsuits. Scott was our guide and his enthusiasm was perfect for the adults as well as the kids. The ride down the river included beautiful scenery, hot springs, bald eagles, rock jumps and a lot of history. My six-year-olds had a blast and wanted to stay for more. This will likely be one of the greatest highlights of our trip. Everyone we met was friendly and talkative...not to mention experienced and very knowledgeable.

Cheap condo rentals very close to Keystone. There was basically no snow/ice removal starting a few feet from the front steps. Sleep quality here was mediocre. Even though we were on the far side of the hotel, we could hear workers randomly yelling as they arrived in the morning and the same godawful playlist from the village (I think?) starting at 7 AM sharp every day. I don't think I saw a single member of custodial staff the entire time we stayed here. Seemed to be a bit of a free for all with dumb people drinking from glass bottles in the hot tubs, wet towels strewn about the common areas at 9 AM the next day, and an awful smell permeating from the steam room. Still kind of worth it for the cheap price but feels just like the resort itself, like perpetual college night at Killington in Vermont.

Each of the condos at the Springs are individually owned, so some units have been renovated. My remarks are about unit 8825 which is a 1BR with a sleeper sofa. The bed was a double, not Q or K.
