I ordered several items for delivery. The order was filled in a reasonable amount of time, but the quality was disappointing. Miso soup was very bland and had quite a lot of settled solids; I think they use a powdered miso. There was maybe 1 oz of tofu, just a few seaweed flakes, and no green onion. It was so bland I refused to eat it. The broccoli in my main course was way overcooked, like an olive drab to brownish color and soggy. The sauce was watery and lacked any decent flavorings. The spring roll was 99% lettuce, quite bland, and wrapped in a thin piece of filo dough. . The cucumber salad with seaweed was pretty good. Super small portions for the amount of money they charge. They don't have a sense of costumer service what so ever. After so many years, after running out of options for take out, we decided to give it try to this place that is by our home. We ordered Pad Thai and the Rama special. The Pad Thai was ok but the pieces of chicken in it you could count them with your hand and the Rama special had nothing special, Tofu was dry and vegetables do not to justify the very small portions and high prices. So disappointed that as much as I want to support local restaurants, we just can't support overpriced food and get so little in exchange. Sadly this might have been the first and last time we order from there. read more

I have been flying out of MDW for 5 years and I never once thought to stop in until a couple of coworkers raved about the place and they were right, Bree Thai has great food and I was equally impressed that they offered fried tofu as a choice for protein. It is a very small place and keep in the they only accept CASH! I did not know this prior to going. We ordered the Massaman curry with tofu, pad thai woon sen with 1/2 shrimp and 1/2 tofu and the chicago summer rolls with tofu. Everything was great except for the rolls. They were kind of bland and they had large leaves of romain wrapped in them. Next time, I'll do the fried egg rolls. read more

I have tried this place a few times over the last three years and I wanted so bad for them to have good food because their Customer Service is phenomenal. They are the sweetest people ever. However, I love Thai food and other Asian dishes and I've tried to give this Restaurant a chance, but unfortunately, there is no flavor to their dishes I haven't had everything on the menu. I usually will try the pad Thai and I've tried a couple other things and it was the same each time I had to take it home and actually season the food myself. Bree Thai used to be my go to for great Thai food. Unfortunately I don't know if it was effected by Covid or if they have just changed completely. The chicken satay used to be flavorful and cooked to a nice curry color. The peanut sauce was delicious. Not anymore. Their food quality and taste has suffered greatly. The chicken satay is now grisly odd yellow colored watery (what I hope is chicken) and the peanut sauce is so runny it's like an odd soup in a tiny cup. The "chicken" in the pad se ewe was also too tough to eat and had zero flavor at all. It's really sad to see this once quaint and great place go down the tubes cutting corners. My BFF and I went here on 12/13/15 based on her recommendation. She has had their food for take out but never dined inside the restaurant. We got there around 3 p.m. but were bummed because they didn't open till 4 that day. What did we decide to do? Stick around until they opened and I'm so glad we did. When 4 p.m. came, we were surprised that when we walked in, it was already BUSY BUSY BUSY! People were picking up take out, phone orders were coming in and the heavenly smell my nose experienced when I stepped foot inside this place made me happy, lol! Boy, if they made an air freshner out of that smell, they would sell millions, ha! Thanks to the pics here on Yelp, I wanted to try the Thai Mango drink. Boy was it DELICIOUS. Not too sweet with bits of fresh mango all throughout the drink. Yum. We then ordered with 2 appetizers: the shrimp in a blanket and the edamame. We both love shrimp so was looking forward to trying the wraps. Unfortunately, due to the bacon inside of the wrap, it made it too salty to enjoy for both of us. The edamame I was worried about the saltiness because of all the salt that was poured on top of it (see picture). But it was very good. My suggestion would be just on an inviting tip to stir the salt so it's not just showing on top. Our main dishes came and I can't say enough how FANTASTIC each one was. This place you can't get any fresher than their food. Lots of flavorful and inviting vegetables. The Bree Southern Fried Rice is a MUST TRY. There are fried chicken morsels on top but what makes it even sweeter is that there is also meat mixed in the fried rice - you get to choose. We chose shrimp and they had huge shrimp mixed in the rice. Wonderful flavor the rice had. Cashew Nut, a delicious sweet flavor, very yummy. The Pepper Steak was good also. Kudos to our waitress Lindsey, I really enjoyed her. She was friendly, helpful when it came to us deciding what to order and gave us great customer service. They have been open about 4 years. It's a very small place. I hope with as good as their food and service is that they can soon expand because there is not much room between people coming in to pick up orders and the tables people are dining. I have been dreaming about that wonderful smell I smelled in this restaurant and the taste of their food ever since I went. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. "We don't cater to any of that stuff" was the response from a condescending guy named Frank when asked about gluten and seemed irritated by this simple question. Shrimp pad Thai was not bad but it was definitely not worth the $17+ price. (Egg is also another $2- traditional pad Thai recipe normally comes with egg as a core ingredient). They Also charges extra for sauces as well. Stopped by for a quick lunch before a flight out of town, and was not disappointed! Our group tried a few of the lunch specials (pad see-ew and massaman curry), which were generous portions and delicious. The the vegetables were perfectly cooked, with just a little crunch to them. However, the standout was the Thai southern fried rice! The fried chicken on top and the sweet dipping sauce were so good that we would come back often, despite living ~30 minutes away. The service was great, both our servers were friendly and attentive. Free parking lot outside, which is shared with several other businesses, but we didn't have a problem getting a spot. Some reviews note this is cash only establishment; there was an ATM inside, which had an out of order sign. Our server told us they were currently accepting Visa and MasterCard, though I'm not sure if this is related to the ATM or not. read more

Thai dishes here are pretty good. I tried the green and red curries, both of which have great flavor and a hearty portion. I got one of them with beef and I have to say that the beef is not the most tender. Service here can be quick or slow, depending on what you order. But the people who work here are very nice and helpful. I was not a huge fan of their version of Thai ice tea. It was a little bitter to me. I would highly recommend getting take out here over dining in. They have an open kitchen and the smoke and oil saturates the air and everything inside the restaurant. My eyes were watering all the way home from the chili oil that had stuck onto me after practically bathing in it for an hour. I went today with 5 friends on our way to Midway for a Honor Flight event. All six of us have been to Thailand and so we figured it would be like most American Thai places ... good, but not really close to the real thing. We were wrong. This food was exactly what I remember from Thailand. We could not stop raving about it the rest of the night. I opted for a little extra spice in my dish and was not disappointed. Rude service , my mom was doing Uber eats and dropped the drink by accident and it spilled in the outside of the bag .she went back to tell them and the lady working was rude and got mad because my mom got the table she cleaned wet a little . My mom was being nice and telling her it can be cleaned that is wasn't a big deal .my mom offered to clean it and she said "yes clean it " and then told her to leave her store .
