For an out of town friend needing floral delivery in the greater houston area, I appreciate the white glove service of Breen's. They handled the incorrect hospital room number and typo in my gift message very professionally in response to my voicemail left after hours. I didn't have to beg or convince them to do it, they just updated/verified as needed. Really appreciate the attention and receiving the photo of the gift. Also, I love that the arrangement substantially matches the photo. I am happy to pay the up charge for knowing that my flowers will look as beautiful in the photo vs a crapshoot of quality. Had to finally review this florist. Just got the most amazing surprise Christmas arrangement. The flower arrangements are always beautiful and creative. It's beautiful and unlike any I've ever seen. My friend has been sending me flowers from here since I moved to Houston. My friend only uses this place. Not sure how my friend found them because doesn't live here. I'll try to come back and add some additional pictures of other arrangements that have been delivered to me. The flower arrangements are always unusual, flowers are fresh and last for several weeks. They're nothing like other "internet" type florists that deliver something that looks nothing like the photos on the website or that are delivered without care. Had one florist that delivered a box of flowers from a different friend who lives in another country and those flowers were on dry ice in the box after derecho storm when people were without power and I wasn't even home just throwing the box over the fence because they couldn't reach my house. Only found out about the delivery when my friend called because I'd never mentioned getting the flowers. Ok enough about bad florists. This one isn't it. The flowers are always delivered fresh and their delivery people make sure to hand you the arrangement fresh and it's not in a box. Something to be said about supporting local businesses. I wanted to order some arrangements to spruce up the office and Breen's Florist delivered. I went online, logged in as I discovered I have used them before. Selecting arrangements was easy, I chose 3 options and ordered last night. Today, I received a text with photos of my arrangements. A couple of hours later, they were delivered by a very nice delivery man. My only complaint is they are pricey, the arrangements are small, but beautiful. The smells are divine, I can't wait to see them in full bloom. It helps to use the rewards for having an account and setting reminders, which I took advantage of. I had posted a low rating & Breens called me on the phone to better understand the order. They took another one which they told me to cost of & I told them to cancel it, they did not. I had used this florist in the past to send flowers to my mom on special occasions. So when my father passed away, I sent an inspiration photo to this florist of a longhorn covered in roses on stand. The original quote for this item in roses came back at nearly $10,000. As someone with 30 years of experience in the industry and in Los Angeles where one would expect prices to be higher, I was shocked. Upon inquiry, the florist stated that it was an iron stand so I suggested wood and a lower grade of flowers. The flowers were some sort of daisy mostly painted orange. The arrangement was nice but honestly I wasn't a huge fan of the wispy feel with the daisies. Nevertheless it got the point across and it served as a good focal point for the buffet. All of the vases were included in the cost so imagine my surprise when they wanted the stand back. As an event producer, I understand that forms cost money. Double is industry standard for a purchase. Our purchase price was $3,000 and there is no way this entire arrangement cost anywhere near even $1000. When I brought this to their attention, they doubled down on their request for return. So the form is being returned to add to their inventory. If you order this item, please know that they have the form so it's just a rental and you should only be paying for labor and flowers. And you're welcome. We paid $3,000 for this! for my father's memorial. Highway robbery! Needless to say they lost a customer. read more

this florist delivered me dead flowers for my birthday. I uploaded pictures of the dead flowers on my Google review. They seem to think they can respond by saying they took a photo. My photos do not lie, and the flowers were returned within less than 24 hours. They also say that I received a refund and a replacement arrangement. I never received a replacement arrangement and that statement is false. I am so disappointed in my Valentine's Day flowers I just received from Breen's Florist. This is our first time to order from Breen's and it will be our last. My husband told me he spent twice the money he usually spends because the reviews for Breen's were very good. The roses are very dark red, (not a pretty red, almost black) and some of the outside petals look like they are starting to curl and die already. The roses have no smell at all. The vase is too small and the other few flowers in the vase are dark also. Really depressing arrangement. This arrangement looks like it should be at a funeral and not for Valentine's Day. I really feel bad for my wonderful husband who was so excited to order these. I absolutely love the flowers I've received from Breens! This is the only florist my boyfriend has utilized and they produce beautiful bouquets. He's surprised me with a mix bouquet of lilies and various other flowers and on another occasion he surprised me with a dozen roses, I was shocked at how beautiful they were, and if you have a somewhat green thumb, they tend to last a decent amount of time after purchase. A friend of mine wanted to send me flowers on my birthday and chose Breen's Florist. I was home all day, but for a few hours and happen to miss the delivery person. There was no notice left on my door, no one attempted to call me, and they were not delivered until the next day. They driver didn't even try to leave the flowers with the apartment office staff (I talked to the ladies in the office). A woman called me the next morning to coordinate the delivery and I did receive the flowers, however she was surly and complained the gate didn't open when she punched my apartment number. She could have just dialed the office to let her inside like all other delivery drivers. I put in a work order to have my number reprogrammed into the gate, but the office informed me she just forgot to press "Enter" after keying the apt. no. The flowers lasted 2 days before disintegrating. I also think it's cheap to use dyed pink flowers rather than obtaining naturally pink flowers.
