Cute little cafe. We're not from the area but we can tell everyone there knew each other, classic local breakfast spot. Sat down right away. Wait time wasn't too bad even though our waitress said she was the only one there. We ordered the meat lovers omelet with hash browns and sourdough toast, and a side of bacon, grits, and 1 piece of french toast. Everything was good... pretty standard breakfast but good flavor. Great little stop for a good hearty breakfast. Have no idea how but for some reason drive right past the place at first. Glad we turned around and searched a bit more thoroughly. Great staff. Fast and friendly service. Great menu offering. I ordered the French toast with links which happened to be on special that day. Also enjoyed a nice glass of pulp free orange juice. (The pulp ought to be illegal - just saying.) I wasn't overly thrilled about the portion size but I didn't really leave hungry so there's that. read more

Small town diner, and it appeared that most customers are locals and regulars. I stopped here for the first time, along with two friends. We had intended to eat brunch at a different restaurant but there was a long wait, so we decided to check out Odd Cuples. We were seated at the last available table. Service was prompt and friendly. Between the three of us we ordered two different omelets, pancakes, and a few other items. We didn't care for either of the omelets, they were definitely overcooked, and very thin. Mine was a cheese omelet and it had very little cheese. Pancakes were good. Prices were very reasonable. read more

We were on the way to Orlando and on the way we were looking for a quick place to have coffee and breakfast. We searched near us and decided to have breakfast at Odd Cuples Cafe. It is a cute coffee shop with amazing folks and beautifully decorated cafe with an amazing service. Everyone is ready to help you with the menu as well as the service. The menu has different options along with soups and sandwiches which seemed to be amazing. From the menu I ordered Black Coffee and Bagel with Cream Cheese. The service was good and I got my breakfast quickly. The coffee was amazing, hot and brewed well. Loved my coffee. The bagel was also toasted and hot which i loved eating with the cream cheese. A great little home-town restaurant serving simple meals made right. My son had a hamburger that he enjoyed. Since I don't eat meat, my options were more limited but it hit the spot! A nice little local place with just a few tables but very prompt and courteous service. Food was plentiful and tasty. We did lunch and I had the Country Cuban. Big sandwich with lots of meats. All the food coming out were good size portions and no complaints from anybody. read more

8 people show up to eat and nice customers switch tables to let us sit together. Everyone ordered different foods from fantastic menu with good prices. All delicious and service from I believe was Lisa was top notch. Small, family feeling restaurant with a group feel and not a great place if you want privacy but that what makes it family like. My wife and I heard about this place either through Yelp or Maps. It's a small place that only seats about 60 people. If the place is packed you know it must be a good place. My wife and I both had omelets, home fries and toast. Excellent service and excellent food. I definitely recommend this place. read more

It was my last time at this establishment today!!! There was a problem with my order, so I asked to speak to the manager. She was beyond unprofessional and nasty.......with a paying customer when she's the one who made the mistake?!?!? Well after dealing with her nasty a$$ I asked someone else for the owner and low and behold they responded "she is the owner "!! WTF!!! This is a really nice spot where youll find a ton of locals on the weekend. This place gets packed with grandmas and grandpas and it's really cute. The service was great despite all tables being completely full. The portion size was great too, it was on the smaller size for my chicken wrap for lunch, which matches the great price, so I didn't get too full, which is just what I wanted. read more

Love this mom and pop place! Great place for families with kids of any age, couples, solo diners, everyone! All age groups young to older. Food like home made, fast service and incredibly friendly service. It was our first time there and we felt very welcome. Great size menu with soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, full breakfast and (some nights) dinner. Adorable coffee decorations that had us all chuckling. VERY affordable and we all loved the food- there were 5 of us and we had omelets, blt sandwich and burger with fries. We left a generous tip- staff was so helpful. Stopped by after reading reviews. Glad we did. Had two teas, shared a Rueben sandwich with fried okra and an extra side of fried green tomatoes. It didn't take long for our order to come out. Everything was piping hot. $16.32 was the bill. It was all delicious. The service was right on and very friendly. There were two other couples there and the staff. Everyone knew each other so there was lots of joking around and plenty of laughter. We got in on it towards the end and we all laughed together. Wish this place was close to my home, we would be there often. I made a note on my map, so the next time we are in Bushnel, we will stop in for good home cooking and laughter. read more

Easy to miss so keep your eyes peeled. This place is tucked away in a tiny strip "mall". Old school mom and pop type place. Two of us ordered breakfast and the other ordered mozzarella sticks and fries. All the food was delicious. Staff is attentive. We ordered toast and it didn't arrive, and we had the bill so I was reviewing it to see if toast was listed, one of the staff saw us checking and took care of the missing toast right away. If you're in the area hungry and it's before 3:00 (they close at 3:00 most days) stop in and give 'em a try. read more

I don't usually get biscuits but they were homemade and flaky buttery. Yum yum. Would have given 5 but there was no sign saying wait to be seated and the lady taking a phone order didn't acknowledge us. I said I wasn't sure since we have never been here before as well as the potatoes. We will try again when we are in Inverness. Especially for the biscuits.

The sandwich had plenty of filling and was a good version of this classic. I saw a pink cake that was under a cloche and I asked about the flavor. Our waitress explained that it was the first time they made this recipe for strawberry cake. I got a giant piece and it was dusted with some kind of freeze dried strawberry powder that amped up the flavor. Food quality. I would eat here again if I was in the area. Prices are fair. The bargain was the cake for $4. They have daily specials and they had run out on the day we stopped by. Service was good and the food came out pretty quick. Darrell's is a local chain and they have a few locations. Ambiance is typical diner but they have these TV screens that roll local ads on repeat which is sort of distracting. All kinds of local businesses but really do you want to watch nothing but ads? The receipt has a cash price and a credit card price. The credit price is higher.

Husband had the country fried steak on a bun and liked it. He did wish that it had more mayonnaise or was served without the bun and had white gravy. The onion rings were very good. I had the tuna salad on wheat bread with a side of coleslaw. I only ate some of the bread, because the tuna salad was good without it. The coleslaw was creamy and tasty. The prices were extremely reasonable. There was only a slight up charge for credit cards, and we decided to use our credit card. Service was good. The food was good. When we are back in the area, we might just come here again.

Our waitress was very attentive and made sure that we had what we needed; she even made us to-go drinks for the road! I had the taco salad which was Huge in a big taco shell - you could also have it served as a traditional salad if you prefer. I asked what the protein was and I was told ground beef, but she could see if they could make it as a chicken taco salad instead. I asked her to surprise me, and she brought out one made with chunks of seasoned chicken, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream chopped inions and salsa which was very tasty. My friend had a tuna melt, which is her favorite meal for lunch and a side of onion rings. The sandwich came out nicely toasted with melted cheese and a thick layer of tuna salad. The onion rings were beautifully fried with real onion rings inside a crispy brown coating; she usually shares the onion rings with me but she must have been so hungry and they were so tasty, that she ate them all by herself! We then had to decide from a long list of desserts, including, pies, muffins and cakes. We split a slice of coconut meringue pie, which was quite heavenly! We come through this area quite a bit, so we will definitely return.
