Overall, pretty good experience. I docked one star for lack of entertainment or WiFi, although Breeze said they are in the process of updating all of their airlines to include Wi-Fi. I docked a second star only because the seats would be uncomfortable on a long flight. For me, I was only on a flight for an hour and a half so it wasn't bad. Breeze has three levels, nice, nicer, and nicest. These equate to main cabin, comfort plus, and first class. We chose the nicer seats because they weren't very much more but had a lot more legroom. I just flew on Delta a week ago so it was easy for me to compare the two airlines. Here is what I found... I would choose the headrest on breeze over Delta, hands-down. It adjusts up and down and is more cushioned. I would choose Delta's seats for their cushion over breeze, since breeze are fairly thin. I would choose the width of the seats, and the legroom of breeze over Delta since they were more spacious. I would choose the staff on breeze over Delta because they were more friendly. I Fly Delta a lot but comparing both flights in the past week, I would say breeze was cleaner than Delta, since Delta left trash next to my seat before I got on board. For entertainment, I would choose Delta since they have movie screens as well as Wi-Fi. read more

Had such high hopes for Breeze as Provo Airport is closer to my home than SLC Airport. For a recent Girls' Trip to Vegas I flew Breeze. The outgoing flight was a "breeze". And I thought to myself, this might be my new thing. I chose the Nicer option for my round trip. Legroom was luxurious. On my return flight out of LAS, we were delayed almost an hour. And had we been given the choice, I would have opted NOT TO FLY at that time. Even my Vegas friend remarked she was surprised we made it out when we did. As LAS had grounded all flights until Midnight. That takeoff I experienced was super intense. The plane was being pushed around by the strong winds like it was made of paper. We couldn't land at Provo either due to the strong winds. The Captain and Crew were doing the best they could. But communication to us was spotty. We were up in the air above Provo for a bit with no updates. We were FINALLY told we were diverting to SLC. We landed at SLC at 12:44 AM; after departing LAS around 8:14 PM. It took Breeze another 2 hours to get us off of the plane. When we were finally deplaned at Signature Charter, it was past 2 AM. I got to my home in Saratoga Springs at a little past 4 AM. My trek home had started at 4:30 PM the day before. I don't blame Breeze for the weather. It happens. Especially in the area surrounding Provo. I just felt that communication could have been much better. And the morning I finally got home, Breeze kept texting me offering me a flight from SLC to Provo. ‍ I didn't get the impression that customer support knew the Utah area. Or maybe it was all AI generated customer support. Also had to contact customer support myself when they kept offering the SLC/Provo flight. There was no automated way to update the system that I didn't need to take that flight. Their customer support needs a lot of work I feel. read more

I was really excited to give breeze a try due to the convenience I thought it would offer. Unfortunately, I have not found breeze to be anything but difficult. The flights are cheap-ish, but then you pay for a seat, a carryon, air to breathe on the plane, etc. Anyway, it really ends up being the same price as other airlines and just lacks the great customer experience. I'll add that even Allegiant has significantly better customer service. If you have to change a flight they will refund you 25% of your total. Breeze also does not have any kind of phone number to calm for help with a reservation. They only do texting. Wouldn't recommend flying with breeze. UPDATE: Today was the day of our flight and we were 1 minute late to check our bags before security and they simply wouldn't take them. We then went through security with them and they almost didn't let us on the plane. Everyone was so rude and I get that we should have been earlier but sometimes things happen that you just can't plan for. Not impressed with this airline at all. read more

I travel for work multiple times a month, and have done so for many years. Travel can be complex and unpredictable, but have never missed a flight until I trusted Breeze with my itinerary. Provo is a very small airport. I arrived 40 minutes before departure at an empty airport and asked the agents to help me, but both firmly said I had no options. They had just begun to load the plane. I asked that they contact someone to help me, both said I could make the flight but must leave my checked bags. Again, no customers waiting, no one nearby. I asked multiple times for them to contact someone as boarding had not yet begun. They stared at me, laughed when I asked if they could please help. TSA offered to help scan the checked bags and get me to my door to catch the flight. I got through to my gate and was refused help as they boarded other customers. I stood by the door to my plane with two bags which could fit overhead (it wasn't a full flight, and only an hour long trip). The doors closed, and the Breeze team began to ignore me as time passed. My flight left without me, and was nudged to contact them with text. Again, travel is complex. A good airline is there to help with these human affairs and ensure that their paying clients are helped. Breeze is not this kind of airline. 40 minutes of wasted time. My 5 minute late arrival does not outweigh 40 minutes of intentional non-help from this infuriatingly inept staff who seemed steadfast on not helping or finding a solution. They offered flight credits, but must purchase a flight today as Breeze won't fly to my destination for another two days. A terrible airline designed to take your money and leave you without options should you find yourself in a pinch. Never again. read more

Got hospitalized 2 days before my flight they do not have a actual number for you to call they use "text messages" they would only credit me $85.50 out of a $150 dollar flight making things more stressful will not use this airlines every again now my me and my son are stranded to get to California. read more

I had the privilege of flying Breeze Airways for the first time this week. I am a former flight attendant of 45 years for American Airlines . I found the airline website very user friendly, their planes clean and spacious with charging stations and table for electronics, their departures and arrivals early or on time and most of all their flight attendants friendly, fun, personable and accommodating like the old days of travel. My flight from RSW to BDL was non stop which beat any major airline that did not offer that option. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Hell no! Flew out with breeze and come back to my luggage all BROKEN!! I am so disappointed because this has never happened to me and my luggage was NEW! Made sure to tell the lady I had FRAGILE items in there expecting my luggage to be well taken care of, but no I come back to my luggage broken and my items inside broken as well‍ this shows that they don't care about your belongings and just throw them around.. save yourself the hassle of broken luggage's and items with this company and fly another airline that will take care of your things read more

Quite literally the single worst experience I have ever had with an airline. I gave them a try at a family member's recommendation. I booked a flight, just whatever the base flight was as anything outside of that was outrageously priced for a low quality airline. 2 days after booking, an emergency work meeting that requires me to attend to keep my job popped up, and I spent 3 hours trying to get in contact with ANYONE to see if I can move my flight to the flight that was just a couple hours after my original. Same day, same airport, just a couple hours later with open availability. I am being told that I can get "credits" for 25 percent of my booking, and that I would need to cancel BOTH my departing and returning flights, mind you the returning flight is not even impacted by this, and that I would have to spend even more money to literally repurchase the return flight and hope that the fraction of credits back I receive will cover the departing flight. All because I asked if I can pay to move our departing tickets to a flight a couple hours later, at the same day, and the same airport. After hours of trying to talk to actual humans, there is no human experience with this company. No ability to actually work with people like customers, only as someone they can drain money from. It costs me the exact same to fly with Delta, who has amenities and customer service that actually works with their customers. Absolute waste of money and time. Do not fly with them. read more

This was terrible. A family member of mine was not notified of the policy where checked bags need to be checked 45 minutes before the flight. NO OTHER AIRLINES HAVE THIS POLICY. And anyway, in result, when they arrived at the airport they got through TSA and everything was fine. At the gate, the airline would not let them through with the bag. They refused to check it. Mind you, they got there 50 minutes prior to the flight (that left an hour late). they were then forced to grab any thing they could carry in their hands in the span of 5 minutes and then forced them on the plane. In the end, they had to throw away $60 worth of products and did not get their bag. They now are going to a 7 day conference across the country with the outfit they are wearing, a charger, and a toothbrush. I will never ever be flying through this airline again. I hope they learn to do better because I am beyond pissed. This was stupid and wrong. DO BETTER!!! read more

We've had great experiences flying on Breeze, and I have cancelled and changed flights several times without a penalty. I'm not 100% clear what one reviewer is referencing, but I'm guessing they give him credit instead of a refund. Yes they give Breeze credit if you cancel, but so does every other airline that I travel on unless you pay more for the fully refundable fare. read more

If I could give this airline a negative star, I would. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE IN EVERY WAY. I am handicapped (I have Rheumatoid Arthritis) and they forced me to carry my (paid for) suitcase through TSA-causing me to throw away many of my personal items. THEN on my return flight I had to pay for mine & my daughters carry-on backpacks because their agent just wanted to charge me or force me to leave my bag at the airport. (Mind you, I took it with me there-no problem as it holds all my medications, small Fanny pack purse & diabetes supplies) But all of a sudden on the way HOME, I can't take it unless I pay $50 PER backpack. WHY?? They said it's because it was big. HOW DID MY BACKPACK GET BIGGER ON THE RETURN FLIGHT?! It didn't. I went to a graduation-not a vacation. It was fine on the 1st flight, but the returning flight it wasn't. There was absolutely NO ONE in the airport to talk to so I was forced to pay or miss my flight. NOW, I'm chatting with robots to try and get a refund on my backpack fees. They will NOT call me, have ZERO customer service, and have NO idea how to treat ANYONE with disabilities. SHAME ON YOU BREEZE AIRWAYS! I will tell everyone of my friends, families and anyone who will listen how much you take advantage of your patrons on their return flights, leaving them feel helpless and how your NOT ADA helpful in anyway. read more

We also flew during the server shutdown and they still got our flight out while a ton of other airlines just cancelled their flights. I so badly wanted to love this airline because of how cheap the tickets were and all of the amazing things I've heard about the Provo, Utah airport they fly out of. Unfortunately, they changed my flight 3 times in the last couple of months, I was supposed to fly into California by 8am originally, with this most recent change they now have me landing in Cali by 6pm. This airline doesn't seem reliable at all, the only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 is because their refund process was easy. I refunded all tickets I had purchased, but I really hope they can get this figured out in the future. read more

I'm sorry to see negative reviews since we had a great experience. My flight through another carrier was canceled with no alternatives and the pilot (who was at the gate) and gate agent went way above and beyond to get us on their flight which was the last to leave for our destination for the night. Such wonderful CS. Please give them a try and hopefully you will receive the same attention and care that we did. read more
