I've been going to this salon since I was a little girl, and it's truly become part of my family's life. I've watched my mom, aunt, grandma, and uncle all get taken care of by Johnny and Daisy, and now it's just part of our routine!! this place feels like home. Lynn and Monica are the only two people I will ever trust with my eyebrows. Whether it's waxing, threading, or tweezing, they always get it just right!!! clean, perfectly shaped, never too thin or too thick. I constantly get compliments, and I always tell people, "Go to Lynn or Monica @ Breeze Salon, you won't regret it!" Johnny is amazing with haircuts. He's been trimming and layering my hair for years, I've been getting highlights with him & my blowouts & I'm always left feeling amazing!! he always knows exactly what I want. My mom goes to him to touch up her roots, and my uncle won't let anyone else cut his hair. Their consistency and care are unmatched. The service is top notch, the prices are fair, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I truly can't say enough good things about this place. I've been going to Breeze Salon since sophomore year of high school, and, as other reviews have stated, this is definitely one of the best kept secrets in the area. Every time I've gotten my eyebrows done here, they've always come out extra crisp and sharp, and I always get compliments on them when I'm not wearing makeup. The ladies here are extremely thorough with their work -- they wax your eyebrows, then clean the rest by threading and plucking. *Make sure to communicate with your eyebrow lady that you just want to clean up your brows and NOT have them be too thin though, because mine have come out a little too thin once or twice. read more

Breeze is a well kept secret in Fountain Valley. It may not look glamorous, but the results are well worth the experience. There are no receptionists when you walk in, just have a seat on the couch with the others waiting or have a peek in the back to see if anyone is free. Linh and Monica have been my eyebrow girls for the last ten years of my life. We've gotten to the stage I'm able to walk in and they know exactly what I like without saying a word. I'd say they give comparable results and I don't think one is better than the other. For $10 you can't really ask for much better. So the past reviews all rave about their facial hair removal, but I come here for the stylist. I always ask for Johnny and he always does an amazing job! He can be quite the perfectionist and spend tons of time on you, but that's what you want out of a salon. Someone who is attentive and will make any changes if you are unsatisfied. On my last visit, I came to get my hair colored. My roots have been growing in and I was debating on touching it up or going lighter. I decided on going a little lighter. With Johnny's expertise, I was extremely satisfied with the color. Johnny is probably the only male hair stylist I know that will wash your hair thoroughly and give a nice scalp massage. I almost fell asleep in my chair! Just for color, it was $50 not including tip. This is probably my go-to salon since Westminster/Garden Grove locations can be a hit or miss. Johnny has always been consistent and I've been coming here for years. And yes, the location is pretty ghetto and the decor is completely outdated, but the service is what keeps me coming back. And yes, facial hair removal, mainly eyebrows, is extremely popular here. Just from watching people crowd the place waiting for their eyebrows to be tamed, the process seems painless. No one is walking out with red eyebrows or teary eyes. I suppose I'll have to make an appointment one of these days. read more

I come here for my eyebrow wax & threading with Linh! I've been seeing her for years and had a big gap so I came in with some crazy bushy brows and asked her to keep them full. Some miraculous technique she has, because I walked out of their with EVEN eyebrows!! I have totally jacked up brows that I have to fill in every day, but since I came, I haven't had to bother with them. Just call the Breeze salon number and Linh often answers the phone. She was 30 mins late for our 10am appt but whatever, it was worth the wait. She is in demand, so make sure to call and book instead of walking in. May you love your brows as much as I do! read more

Never judge a book by it's cover. While the salon interior lacks appeal, the girls do a fantastic job in their craft. I have been here on 3 occasions and Kelly is by far the most efficient in her eyebrow artistry. She's quick, does a thorough job, and might i add does not cost an arm-and-a-leg. $10 for a waxing, threading, and tweezing is my kind of place. My only complaint is that they're pretty popular so the wait-time is longer than I would like. read more

Excited to find a wax/thread salon near me that's inexpensive. I went in today without an appointment (Wednesday afternoon around 2pm) and I was helped right away. I was brought to the back in a private room where there was another girl getting waxed too. Quiet music playing and gentle touch was really what did it for me. Not pushy or rushed. I felt comfortable and relaxed. I got my eyebrows, upper lip, and chin for $15. 01/13/14 Edit: Its definitely unnecessary to thread and wax and pluck away. The second time I went I realized that they use the tweezers to pull out long eyebrows instead trimming them, this was causing gaps and leaving my eyebrows thin. Not my my go-to anymore. read more

This is my go-to eyebrow place! Found out from another friend, they revolutionalized my eyebrows (which were a M-E-S-S). I'm sad that I have moved back to the Bay and haven't been able to find an equivalent, but whenever I'm down in SoCal I make my boyfriend take me!! Only $10, they pluck, wax and thread your eyebrows! They truly shape them to your face, I literally come in and lay down to have them work their magic. I contemplated on writing a review because I didn't want this place to get busy, but I truly appreciate their work!! All of the ladies there are helpful and good at their job, you won't go wrong by coming here. read more

A family member had recommended Johnny to me so I made an appointment with him at a time HE suggested. So I got there on time he was finishing up a client when he was done he took another woman before me. I patiently waited 45min still and he never acknowledged me or told me he was running behind. I ended up walking out and made an appointment at Bebes Hair Salon in Anaheim. I literally waited less than 5 min there as it should be if you have an appointment. I've been meaning to write this review for sometime Now. This place is incredible. I've been coming here for over 10 years. I first heard about them through a friend back when I used to work at Circuit City - yea that was a long time ago! And they still hold the spot for number one place to get your eyebrows done in my book. I'm not too familiar with their other services but their eyebrow service is great! I've been to several places all over California and across the country and nobody does it quite like them. Even the worst of the aestheticians here is still better than some of the ones I've experienced elsewhere. For 10 bucks they wax, tweeze and thread your eyebrows, something I haven't seen very often anywhere else. Everyone is very friendly and even after having moved away from the city, they still remember my face. I live across the street from a threading place that charges only 6 bucks in Long Beach but I'd still rather drive out there to Orange County and pay for gas than do it across the street from where I live. Linh, Monica and everyone are super friendly and if you communicate with them what you like they usually do a good job at giving you just that - especially if you're baby like me and basically any pinch hurts haha. The only bad thing I could possibly say is that you need to bring cash, but with a 7-Eleven around the corner and a Bank of America across the street that's hardly an obstacle. I have been recommending all my friends to this place that live nearby. It looks like a hole in the wall but it makes up for it in the friendly staff and great work. My rating is based on the EYEBROW services that this salon provides... Okay, so for $10 you get eyebrow threading, waxing and tweezing and these girls know what they are doing! I am usually weary of places doing my eyebrows in fear they will mess up, but this place has not let me down at all. And for $10, how could you even complain? Be careful when you have a eyebrows or any waxing with Hannah. I went to this salon for many years, but this time it was with the new girl. She is younger than the other 2, and replaced Linh. She burned my skin when waxing my eyebrows without telling me anything. I felt irritated, but just thought maybe normal after waxing. It's simple, clean and surrounded by random stores (mini mart and chicken store). WHO: I went with Linh, because she was highly rated by my fellow yelpers. She is truly sweet, genuine and easy to talk to (understands Vietnamese & English). I loved the fact that she is prompt; I haven't had to wait (since I made an apt). She is quick, yet very thorough. WHAT: Waxes, tweezes, threads eyebrows and upper lip for $12. Takes about 15 minutes. WHEN: Call to make an appointment; saves you time. Walk-Ins welcomed. HOW: Applies warm wax, then after each yank of the cloth (teary jerker indeed), she massages the area w/ her fingers to soothe the skin shock. She does threading to get rid of tiny strands wax/tweeze couldn't take out. At the end of the whole process, she applies powder and lotion. Very minimal REDNESS. Slight break-out (not-noticeable); I'm very sensitive. WHY: So, people won't mistake you for Bert's cousin. CON: She tends to arch the brows a bit too high. My 1st experience, it was very clean and nice, but didn't match my face. 2nd time, I told her I wanted it less arched and she did a better job. Next time, I will tell her to go even less archy. Super bang for your buck!!! Appearance: This place honestly looks so dingy and super out dated. It is a combination of a hair salon and there is a little room in the back where the waxers do their magic. I feel like no one really comes here to get their hair done.. The only hair stylist inside is the first person you see when you enter the salon but he is not really friendly. Do not expect a warm welcome when you come in cause he won't give it to you! Service: Linh helped me out and she was so sweet. I asked her to do my eyebrows, upper lip, and parts of my underarm (I usually pluck all my hair under my arm besides the really fine light hair surrounding the middle of my armpit.. Lol if that makes any sense!) She was so super sweet and listened to all of my requests. The amount of attention she put into my eyebrows was amazing. She waxes, threads, then goes in with tweezers to make sure she got every hair. What other place do you know will do that for $10?? Exactly!! Her customer service makes up for the not so warm welcome (or any no welcome at all) when you first come in. Price: They have this deal where it is $12 for upper lip and eyebrow waxing. Steal!!! I paid a total of $16 and tipped her $6 because she really took her time doing everything. Underarm waxing usually costs $10 here but since I only asked her to do certain parts, she charged me $4. For eyebrows, this place is GOLD. They take their time and my eyebrows have looked awesome every single time. My brows look better than that other place. Still seeing the young girl. She is amazing. I discovered Linh's amazing talents and attention to detail when I was still living in SoCal. I'm back in the Bay Area and just wish she had a business up here also. :( she perfectly shapes your brows via waxing, threading, and plucking. Linh really takes her time and the results are the best I've ever had ( and believe me, I've gone to salons here in NorCal AND SoCal, so I feel like I've experienced it all). She is also very sweet and is is very busy. I've called to make an appointment everytime but I'm never seen until 15-20 min after my scheduled time, which I'm totally fine with. It's worth the wait. I still have yet to find someone to top Linh, but I really don't think that's possible, haha, honest truth! Please everyone, experience Linh's work! She's awesome! read more

I love this place. this is my go to place for eyebrows now. never done anything else in there but wax so this review is all about wax, tweeze and thread. My family owns a nail salon back in where i used to live. so getting everything done for free and perfect was easy. but ever since i moved here to fountain valley, i've been searching for a place to go get my brows done. and after reading all the good reviews on here, i decided to give it a try. boy it was amazing. I am very scared to get my brows waxed mainly cos i would tear up a waterfall. these ladies here knows my problem and will try anything to make it as harmless as it can for me. they were sweet and they take lots of time on you. :) i would totally recommend this place to anyone who is just like me.. a scary cat ;p I gotta admit though. it does look ghetto in there especially for fountain valley. Never judge a book by it's cover. We've all heard this cliche before but this truly describes this salon perfectly. I heard about this place from a coworker who always has perfectly groomed eyebrows. And since I am always on the hunt for a good eyebrow wax I decided to give this place a try. Breeze Salon is located deep into Fountain Valley which is partly why I deducted one star. But the outcome is always worth it. The salon is located in a seedy strip mall right behind a Sizzler and next door to an old school video rental shop. It's not the greatest neighborhood so just be prepared for that. I've never felt unsafe but it's not a area that I normally hang out in. From the outside it looks ghetto. And on the inside, guess what? It's GHETTO! The inside is way outdated and dingy, but I am telling you that they shape the BEST eyebrows! I have been to numerous salons to shape the perfect brows. Just look at my past reviews! I've spent as much as $25 (not including tip) at Nordstrom for waxes done by the experts trained by Anastasia (She does all the celebrities brows, has a salon in LA, and her own brow grooming line sold at Sephora). And not even they compare to these ladies for the price. For ten bucks (Yes, that's right TEN bucks) They wax, thread, AND tweeze your brows. They are gentle which is always a bonus. Plus, they are very meticulous and they really do take their time on you. A single session will last about 25 minutes. I've come in with my brows looking a complete mess but walked out with perfectly shaped brows. They do prefer to keep your brows pretty thin and arched but if that's not what you like then I am sure they'd be happy to accommodate any requests that you may have. This is a total 'hole in the wall' place by all definitions. The brow stylists don't speak much while you're under their care but they will get the job done so no complaints from me. Plus, there's no awkward silences or nervous chatting from me. A bummer about this place is that they're CASH ONLY. Another bummer is that they can get pretty busy especially on the weekend so maybe try and go during the week but preferably during the day. Additionally, the room that they use is kinda cramped and you will be sharing the room with other customers at the same time. But even with all these downers I still return to this place month after month for some much needed brow grooming. read more

Honestly I didn't even tell her how I wanted my brows, but as she was doing it, I realized she didn't ask, so I told her and she showed me and whatever she had already done was freaking awesome. I have never been more happier with my eyebrows. Granted my brows are very light and thin, but she shaped it in a way where it was just beautiful. $10 cash only. You lay on this blue table thing that's covered in plastic. It looked very uncomfortable and was very unsettling, but I did it anyways. I was recommended by a friend so decided to give it a try.
