This nail salon is now under new management for those familiar with the previous owners (Cindy and her family) - myself included. I used to be a semi-regular customer but took a six-month break from getting my nails done, so I hadn't been back until recently. I only found out about the management change after seeing the updates on Yelp. While they've kept the same name, Polished Nails, the business is completely independent from the previous management. I visited the other day for a gel-x soak-off after my three-week trip to Asia - I was long overdue for a clean-girl manicure and pedicure. I initially walked in without an appointment (rookie mistake!), so I definitely recommend making an appointment if you plan to visit. Steven was working on another customer when I arrived, but he kindly scheduled me to come back later that day - totally fair, given I hadn't called ahead. Steven and Hannah (new couple) completely remodeled the space, giving it a fresh, modern look. They've also expanded their selection with new polish colors and trendy design options, including textured effects like velvet (cat-eye), intricate 3D art, minimalist styles like micro French and nude diagonals, and bold finishes such as liquid-metal chrome and aura gradients. Steven and Hannah are offering 20% off for all services since they just had their grand re-opening. I requested a basic gel manicure ($35.00), organic basic gel pedicure ($42.00) and my gel-x soak-off ($10.00) - the total was $90.00 and with the 20% off, everything came out to be $72.00 (tipped separately). Though I only got a regular manicure without any designs, I was honestly so impressed by how meticulous and detailed Steven was. I change my nail color pretty often, and I've always wanted that perfect deep burgundy but for some reason, other salons/nail techs could never quite get the tone right. When I showed Steven the shade I had in mind, he did something unexpected: he mixed two different burgundy colors to create the exact tone I wanted. I've never had anyone do that before, and the result was spot on! Even with shaping, I usually have to "inspect" my nails afterward and request small fixes but not this time. Steven got it right on the first try, both in color and shape. It was practically perfect from the start, which says a lot! Regarding this specific Yelp page, it's important to note that it has been acquired by the new owners, Steven and Hannah. I recommend filtering the photos by "newest first" so you can see the updated nail designs and work done by them from August 2025 onward. Any older photos (prior to August) reflect the previous management - Cindy and her family, who no longer operate the salon. By doing this, you'll be able to see the difference in results and style between the previous management and the new one. Lastly, if you're someone who prefers a quiet, relaxing environment and wants to escape the loud, crowded nail salons in the area - while still getting quality nail art and care - I highly recommend coming here. Love my set!! Usually i go for gel x extensions but I opted for the builder gel set this time to grow out my natural nails. Steven did an amazing job with the french tips and shape of the nail, I wanted a more square shape even though my natural nails are more rounded. Did Zelle and they called me afterwards to say the Zelle didn't go through and that annoyed me a lot. They ended up letting me know that they knew that Zelle sometimes takes a while to get through but they still bothered me about it even after I sent a screenshot of the email confirmation. So definitely pay cash. I was the only person there that morning so that was nice. Steven did my nails and he absolutely ate down these hand drawn designs! They are exactly what I asked for and are perfect for the Halloween season. This is my second time going to Steven and he does not disappoint! The salon itself is also very organized, stylish and spacious. I like to come early to appointments and said I was okay with just waiting when I came 15 minutes early but they were happy to start on me early! I was able to find this place when I had to get my nails done last minute while everywhere else was too busy to get me in. This is a great location literally across from mile square park, and there is plenty of parking in the plaza. First impression was that the interior was nice and clean. Apparently, this nail shop is under new management by a lovely husband and wife. Steven usually does my nails. He definitely knows what he's doing. He's great in nail art and likes a challenge. When I show them a picture of what I like, they're always able to follow it and make my nails come out perfect! They're always able to match the color exactly (or very close) to the pictures I show. I appreciate my almond shaped nails coming out evenly and not crooked or weird. One of my pet peeves is when a nail tech paints but leaves the edges of my nails bare with no color. Well, that never happens here! It just shows the attention to detail Steven and his wife have. Another thing to point out is that I don't go home bleeding or with cuts like with some other places where the nail techs are rushing. If you're in the area, support Polished Nail Studio!
