Therapist got sick and had to stop my 90 min massage after 20 min and they think its appropriate to only offer a free 30 min for the "uncomfortable situation". Feel like you should do what it takes to make client happy when you screw up but apparently they don't agree. Here's the story: Had a girlfriend in town for NY so we scheduled 90 min relaxing massages at the round rock location. Everything started fine-we were promptly greeted and given a foot soak while we filled out paperwork. Went in with my therapist and appropriately discussed my desired outcome for the massage. She gets started and about 20 min in she has to suddenly excuse herself from the room. She comes back shortly to start again and for the most part she was doing a decent job-little sporadic but I'm trusting what she is doing. About 5 min go by and she has to excuse herself again. I wait. I wait some more. And I wait some more getting uncomfortable by the minute. Finally, after a good 10 min wait, a guy that I hadn't met comes in the room while I'm laying their completely undressed, which was slightly awkward and uncomfortable. He tells me she is pregnant and got sick and won't be able to finish my massage. I feel bad for her and completely understand. He says I can either wait for my friend to finish and then her therapist will finish mine or they will offer a mani or pedi while I wait. I explain I don't want to make my friend sit for an hour and wait, which is why I booked them at the same time and I ask if I can just get a voucher to come back another day. He says sure so I get dressed and just wait totally bummed I didn't get my massage I desperately needed. Stuff happens and I understand but still sux. Friend finishes and we go down to check out. He says I have to pay for the thirty min that I actually received. Didn't really receive a full thirty min but I can deal with paying for what I got. Ask them how to get my certificate for the hour massage they were going to comp for the situation and am told that I don't get a free hour, but only a free 30 min. Are you serious??? I scheduled 90 min for a reason and I merely got a teaser. I think given the circumstances I should have been comped the hour I didn't get since that's what I scheduled in the first place. I'm not going to come back for a 30 min massage and then pay for the rest. While I understand, I set this up for us to have a girls days and am put in a very awkward and uncomfortable position and you think merely giving a free 30 min makes up for this. Needless to say, I won't waste my time going back there. I have worked in service a long time and when you screw up, whether valid or not, you should bend over backwards to make it right. I will go back to spa reveil in the Domain bc they are awesome and would do the right thing if that happened there and do whatever it took to make it better for me. It boils down to the principle of the fact that my day was completely a bust. Totally sux. Has I only scheduled an hour then the free thirty min would be fine, but when I specifically schedule the 90 then that's what you do. Not happy and will not waste my time. So, if you go and don't have a sick therapist I'm sure it will be fine, but if you want someone to take care of you when they screw up then this isn't the place. read more

There is one reason why I love this place....her name is Sarah. I followed her here to this salon because of how amazing she is. She can do amazing things with hair. I have gone to her for haircuts and color. One time she did another one of her famous cuts and highlights and the front desk clerk was so amazed at the job, she went and scheduled an appointment with Sarah. Sarah works at multiple locations....please don't miss out!!!! She has a lifelong customer in me. Also, Sarah has worked on my hair now for almost two years and during that time I was pregnant. She kept cognizant of how I was feeling each and every time I visit. She also helps you come up with a plan for your hair. I am not a person that can easily change hair color with my job. Sarah was so amazing that she took me from a dark blonde/brunnette to a light blonde with highlights without many people at work realizing my got changed. MacKenzie Peterson did a fabulous job on my hair color she was honest with me and she told me everything she would be doing. Explained the hair color I was trying to achieve would most likely take a few sessions which I didn't mind because my hair was pretty black. I never felt rushed, she was very kind talked about different things, customer service was great!! After the processing she rinsed my hair did a treatment on it to help protect the color and it was so relaxing. And after a blow dry and brush through it came out better then I could have ever expected it to. The color was fabulous hair was smooth and soft had a lot of dimension! I can't believe anyone gave anything other than a FIVE star to Breeze -- seriously, Wal-Mart in Georgetown got 4 stars!!!!!!!!!!! I've been going to Mary Melhado @ Breeze for almost 4 years, and I totally trust her with cuts, and especially color. She is not high-pressure, and I can tell her "do something different", and she doesn't go crazy (I'm 37...), but gives me a look that is age / occupation appropriate, and I end up with a chic new do that I would not have thought of on my own. She can and will recommend product, but only if it WORKS, not so she can make commission! I have been coming to see nicole for years for haircuts and just recently had my hair lightened with an ombre style ( idk if thats the right terminology). Nicole has an amazing way of being able to take your ideas and advise you with an expert eye on what would work best. She also is great at getting a feel for your comfort level. For example i always keep my hair natural and it is a dark color so choosing to go lighter is a big deal for me. She gave me the change i wanted with a degree i could handle. So happy! I've been looking for a salon that I can go back to consistently in the Round Rock, Cedar Park Georgetown area, but have had no luck. I saw Breeze Salon a while back, but overlooked it because it said it was an Aveda Salon, so I figured it was over priced and pretentious. Boy was I wrong! I think that this Salon and Spa is the best around. The staff is very accomodating. From the front desk, to the assistants, to the very end, all was very nice. I would definately pay the price to get my hair done the right way. Breeze Salon and Nail Spa is a hidden gem! I recently had a manicure and pedicure, and I was thoroughly impressed. The staff was friendly and attentive. The salon has a lovely ambiance--clean, modern, and relaxing. I loved the wide selection of colors and treatments available. The first time I decided to stop in and get a haircut the place was packed! When I made my way to the desk and asked If it was always this busy, I was told prom was that evening. I laughed and said I'd come around another time. The young lady asked me to wait and returned with the owner/manager. She stopped what she was doing and cut and styled my hair. It is Supercuts with a high sticker price. Bad service and owner is very rude! They will not refund your money even when they admit the service went all wrong! I was very disappointed with the amount of money I spent to come out with dry frizzy damaged hair. My hair was ruined after getting the keratin smooth out. It was brittle, dry and frizzy. The owner and the general manager would not give me back a full refund. And the general manager kept trying to blame me with several excuses and each time she realized that was not the case she came up with more. read more
