There was only one guy in the rental areas when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon mid February. We waited a super long time "1st in queue" until someone finally arrived to help the other guy out. It took like an hour all told to get our gear, which is just silly. We got a huge snowstorm the next day so maybe they didn't prepare for that? We did put in our rez online in advance though so they knew we were coming at least. The gear we got was pretty used and well worn looking, though it got the job accomplished. Our family members rented just off mountain near their place and had much nicer/newer gear. I would not rent from here again, even considering how close it was to our condo unit, just for the timing and shenanigans. We rented "demo" ski packages (the mid-line package here) here for a 4-day trip to Park City. It was very conveniently located to our rental and part of the EPIC program, so we got a discount. Staff were pleasant enough, but it's a small operation. I went to pickup my skis on a mid-morning weekday and got stuck behind a large group of 13. Only 2 staff on at the time really could not manage the fittings and everything in a timely fashion. It wasn't their fault. A 3rd staff came on at the end, but that was after that large group was pretty much done. Staff were friendly and helpful. I left like 45 minutes later with a beat-up pair of skis and boots which had definitely seen better days. One of the bails on my boots was twisted and deformed. It still worked, but looked like total garbage. The poles didn't even have basket clips to hold them together. Everything looked like I got it at a ski swap. I mentioned it to one of the staff who checked me out and he just said it was the end of the season (I'm thinking, what, like before COVID?). I even met another person at the hot-tub in our building who also rented from them (for the same reason - EPIC) and had exactly the same sentiments about her equipment. The equipment did work, and when we had to leave early, they did refund us for the unused days in accordance with EPIC policy, but I would not rent here again. There several other rental places nearby and I would definitley check them out for next time we go to PC. read more

My son and I arrived last Thursday at 3p to get our gear for the next day. Staff was very grumpy and did not take the time to properly fit our boots or skis. The boots were so sloppy we had to return mid day to get a different size & brand. Then another time to get the proper length skis. Thankfully their computer was down and they sent us to Legacy Rentals where we received great service and selection of ski gear. I will never use Breeze again. read more

Rented skis here for the weekend. Unfortunately was dealing with a double knee injury the week prior and decided after I picked up my gear I wouldn't ski. Customer service was absolutely superb. My group had also gotten gear mixed up so was able to come back day 3 to return the right helmet and receive a full refund. Great value, location, and people. A couple things really bugged me about this place. My family rented 8 sets of skis and bought gear for a whole week, spending over $2000 at this place and yet we were treated with impatient attitudes and rude comments, especially from Michael Thomas who I believe is the store manager. A couple of us tried snowboarding this year, and later decided to switch to skis. When we asked to switch the workers acted like it was such an inconvenience to them even though they weren't busy, and even threw in a comment that, "Skis are for girls." As soon as you buy gear from them they cut off and throw away the tags so you cannot return them so be extra careful before buying anything! I bought a pair of glove liners which I decided were too big and tried to switch for a smaller pair not even 5 minutes after buying them and they wouldn't allow it. I would have appreciated a heads up on their non-existent return policy. When we checked our gear back in we asked for a receipt of the total cost of rentals and were told that's not possible, which I can hardly believe. Personally I think they were just being lazy. This Breeze location needs a serious overhaul in customer service. Last year we had a great experience with Breeze, but totally opposite this year. We won't be renting from here again. read more

So I was a bit nervous after reading the first review on here about Breeze ski rentals as I was only going to be in Park City for a few days and I wanted good ski's. The staff at Breeze (Brenton was the guy I worked with my entire stay) actually called the day prior to my arrival to confirm when they would deliver the skis/boots and arranged a time that worked, as my flights had changed. I could not believe how flexible there in making sure I could get on slopes the day I arrived. Right on time he showed up at my room with the ski's, poles and a few pairs of boots to try on. They ended up fitting perfectly. Brenton was so patient as I was in the middle of a work call while trying on the boots. I originally booked the ski gear until Sat - for three days, but do to the fresh powder we got I kept them until Monday. Breeze called me on Sunday and Monday to make sure that was what I wanted and then Brenton came and picked them up on his own time on Monday afternoon. Not only was Breeze the cheapest delivery services and half the price of getting ski's at the hotel it was a pleasure to work with them, and the ski's were of great quality. My friends (all 7 of them) have agreed to rent from them next year!! read more

Context: Our family were the only customers in the store during this entire experience. We rented from Breeze and I will say the equipment was adequate; however, we were treated very poorly from the very moment we walked in. This was the first time our family came to Park City from out of town, and we weren't familiar with the ski rental process. We walked into breeze to try and rent skis and we were immediately asked to leave because we didn't have an appointment. Fine, so we made an appointment online. When we walked in the second time after we made an appointment, the worker that was helping us started rambling on about how the rental could take up to 24 hours to come through their system making us think we were going to have to rent from somewhere else; we then apologized and said we were unaware with the process. He then assured us it would all be okay after ranting about how inconvenient it was for him (the employee). We went to get some food while he figured out our rental. We came back to the store after our breakfast and were immediately shamed because we made the rental "at the wrong location 10 miles away" so we apologized once again and he said he would figure it out. We were so close to getting our skis we didn't want to leave since we had already been through so much with this guy. In retrospect, we should've left then. The worker who was helping us brought boots for us to try on and then proceeded to walk 10ft away and turn his back to us while we tried our boots on. Two of us needed a different size shoe because ours wouldn't fit so we had to get up and get his attention (he did this on purpose in my opinion). He proceeded to make petty remarks when I was reading the waiver (out of principal I always read contracts) like, "just sign it you aren't signing your life away." In conclusion: these people hid behind their computer system either because they were lazy and didn't want to deal with us, or they just had a stick up their *** for outsiders. read more

People were very friendly and helpful - great service. There were great deals for families if you book online. They are located two levels down from the ski lifts so you will have to carry your skis or snowboards further than other shops (but the deals are better). Free resort valet for your skis fills up early on busy days so drop off early (they don't store equipment at the store). There is some flexibility between their 3 locations if you ask nicely. read more

READ BELOW - We rented a packaged that allowed us to ski for 6 days. On the last day, 2 of us wanted to swap out one day of skiing for snowboarding and they said no problem!! We had ski lessons the next day at Deer Valley Resort and we needed to get our gear early to make it in time for our lesson. Sam told us they weren't open until 8 am so we were planning to just pick up our ski rental equipment right when they open. When we came down around 7:45 am, we saw he was open and were super happy that we got our gear and everything we needed to make it to our ski lesson on time. Super happy that the equipment wasn't smelly or stinky which was a fear of mine when renting ski boots. Definitely great customer service since renting was such a breeze! read more

I would not recommend this rental facility at all. There are MUCH better ones nearby. The main reason is that the staff is very rude and not helpful. Three of us arrived to pick up our skis and were rushed by staff who told us to hurry because they were going to be slammed. Then, staff stood around and talked amongst themselves for 20 minutes while we were trying on our equipment (they did not get slammed). When I remarked on the very squeaky boots and asked if they had powder to make them less squeaky, they said that I shouldn't worry about that and that the squeakiness is normal. When I said that I've rented boots at 20 other places and have not had such squeaky boots, the staff person said I should focus on my skiing skills and not on the boots! They did not have boots large enough to fit one member of our group of 3. They told us that we should to to one of the other rental places nearby that had a much larger selection. They were right--other place was much better. Drop off was a madhouse. Skis and boots strewn all over the store. No staff to turn the skis and boots in to. They told me to just leave them on the floor and they'd scan them in later. I have to note, however, that their phone sales staff were very helpful and nice. Not nice enough to overcome store service, however. I'd definitely recommend that folks go a few doors down to one of the other places with a much friendlier staff and much larger selection. read more

The manager is very rude. He needs to work on his people skills. He speaks to his staff and customers with a condesending tone. I wanted to return one item of 12 items rented and he told me that I would have to bring all of our rented equipment back to be scanned. We both knew that this would take an hour for a family of 4. We both knew it wasn't worth my time. I asked him if he could overide the system and credit me for the days ahead that I didn't need it and he said that as manager he couldn't. I was offered no other options to reconcile. He confirmed that his system doesn't allow for him to service us any other way. I respect their policies, but they are not designed with customer service values that make exchanges and returns a simple transaction. read more

I stay in Park City for a week every year at the Marriott mountainside. I am a snowboarder and I bring my own bindings. The Marriott promotes slopeside rentals with a 25% discount. I had used them before but this year I went there and asked if they would put on my bindings. They said no. Not safe for them to use any bindings other than their bindings. I let them know they had done it before. They said "I don't think we did." I said check the system, I am in there. "We don't have a system he says". I grab my bindings and go right to breeze. The owner said of course we will put on your bindings. They even added a screw that I told them I had lost. The owner and tech Gordon were great! They gave me a discount as well and they were cool.
