We came for Magical Dining last night and will not be coming back any time soon. It's located right in downtown Celebration and the parking seems limited along the lake though there's also valet. The hotel itself is very pretty and there seemed to be plenty of seating even though we made a reservation. The server warned us service would be on the slower side and they unfortunately ran out of the chicken entree and offered no subsitituon. Most of the food lacked flavor and our server seemed a bit confused at times. When they came to bring our entrees, they had to wait for the server to come and clear our appetizers. Our waters were not refilled and they served cans of soda and there were no free refills. We enjoyed the French onion soup and chocolate dessert but didn't care for anything else. read more

We decided to try Lakeside on the Magical Dining menu just based on the French onion soup. We both ordered the soup to start. Flavor was good, but cheese definitely needed to be a bit more baked. The crouton they used was also too large so it soaked up the broth quite a bit. I still enjoyed this overall due to the flavor. I made the mistake of ordering the garlic chicken. It was just ok. As you can see, the fries were well done. My husband's steak was phenomenal though and the favorite for us both. The desserts were standard and as expected. Other things I wanted to note: Our server was on top of everything. We were auto-grated for a table of two, which we have never been before. A can of soda was $5. We found a new favorite spot in Celebration! We came for Magical Dining and had a much better meal than we expected! My boyfriend had the french onion soup, fried chicken, and key lime and I had the pork belly, bucatini, and olive oil cake. Seriously we loved every single thing we had. The portion sizes were generous but not over the top. Everything came out perfectly spaced out. It was just such a good meal! The staff were very friendly, including our server. The hotel as a whole is very nice and the restaurant was no exception. It was not very large but it had a great vibe. We sat inside because it is hot out but seems like they may have outdoor seating in the lake, as well. Apple and I initially were located at the exterior lakeside patio however, the sun was shining at little too harshly and I didn't want to be included in any photo line-up of the most terrible tan fails of all time. So of course we moved ourselves to an interior table. And that brings us to the food. We both ordered the Beer Battered Grouper Sandwich. The Sandwich consisted of Crispy Beer Battered Grouper, Malt Vinegar, Tartar, Harissa Mango Salsa and Kohlrabi slaw on a Brioche Bun served with French Fries. The grouper serving was large and both crispy and airy. DELICIOUS! As to service, it was warm and welcoming however, somewhat slow and disjointed. Our server forgot my drink order and didn't follow-up with our table to see if we needed anything else. This is the reason for the four instead of five star review. I met my yelp friend Ronnald M. for a Sunday lunch here. Reservations were easy with open table. They are a must as there's not that many tables here. This is at the Marriott lakeside hotel. We were seated outside but it was so hot in the sun we moved inside to the hotel lobby area. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. The only complaint would be the service was incredibly slow and even there was a lot of staff you wonder if they are understaffed. The table waters were warm and I could not see a server until we got the check to order anything else to drink. The food was great! We both had the grouper sandwich which was worth 5 stars for sure! I visited this restaurant a couple days ago with my friends. We decided to try the magical dining here, and it was definitely a great experience. The server and Chef were very nice and catering all our requirements or questions. The ambience of the restaurant was my favorite since it was a very elegant, but casual dining. This place was meticulously elegant. The decor was beautiful and very romantic, even for brunch. I had the Blueberry Feta Steak salad and the French Toast. The salad was pretty basic and a little overloaded with French fried onions, but the star of the show was the French toast. It was soft, flavorful, and pair very well with the Grand Marnier syrup. This place has a special place in my heart. I evacuated from Tampa to Celebration and stayed in the Celebration Hotel for 3 nights. The restaurant stayed open throughout the hurricane and was super kind and accommodating to guests by running a special menu. We are here for 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts and the food was absolutely amazing. The appetizers are HUGE and should have a portion warning - the celebration calamari is truly a celebration. I cannot rave enough about the service and the kind and personable people that work at this hotel/restaurant. After spending so much time there during the hurricane they truly felt like friends & family. Even through the renovations of the hotel and restaurant, the service and food is top notch. I will probably end up driving back to this area to go to the restaurant for the nostalgic vibes and good food lol. read more

Brunched here with a work party of 10. We had fabulous service from Rihanna who made sure all of our needs were met! I ordered a hot tea served in a cute little teapot as my coworkers went with coffee or water. I debated for some time on what to order and probably shouldn't have picked the Pulled Pork Benedict as I'm not a big fan of bbq sauce for breakfast, but I was hopeful and went with it. I was surprised at the lack of hollandaise so I did request some extra. The bbq sauce on the pulled pork was too sweet for me. I added salt and pepper, but it wasn't cutting the sweet so I ended up taking the pork off and just eating the egg and English muffin. The potatoes were good though! My wife and I met up with some friends for Sunday brunch. There were five people total in our group. We had made reservations, which is highly recommended. Two of the people in our group opted for the bottomless mimosas, a couple had coffee, and I stuck with water. The bottomless mimosas do have a two hour time limit, which I think is pretty standard. For breakfast, my wife and I decided to split the Brunch Burger and an order of the Custard Dipped French Toast. I ordered the burger medium and with the tomato bacon chutney on the side. I thought the burger was cooked at the right temperature and had a great flavor. The chutney does add a nice element to the burger. The fries were cooked perfectly and had a nice crunch. While the French Toast was delicious, I didn't find it to be anything special. I guess I saw custard dipped and got excited and expected something different. It was a very well done French Toast, that is all. Now, what was exciting was the citrus whipped cream. I had a few bites with the whipped cream and a few with the maple syrup. Our friends did make comments on how delicious their food was. Our server was great and on top of things. It did take some time for the food to arrive, maybe about 30 minutes from the time we ordered. We had a nice time, and all agreed that we would like to go back and try a few more items. It is worth noting that this restaurant is mainly in the lobby of the hotel. Also, allow yourself extra time if you are visiting on a Sunday during the hours of the Celebration Farmers Market, as parking can be hard to come by. I do think the hotel does offer valet. read more

We came late in the evening (830p) and the weather was wonderful on the patio ... I'd come back just for the setting. The menu looks great ... but we came on a day / time where two things we asked for were not available (one was no pears for the pear salad, though green apples are a better replacement than, say, bananas). Another bummer was that the crab cakes aren't crab, they are a vegetarian option. Man, would have loved crab cakes! Meal was tasty - the chicken, the fish and chips, and the pear-with-no-pear salad. This happy was AMAZING! The definition of getting your moneys worth! For $6 we got a classic cosmo and a margarita. The bites were both adequately priced and tasted fantastic. I was SO surprised by the wings. The were crispy and full of flavor. The service was also fantastic. The signs on the table say to visit the bar yo place an order but while we were seated browsing the menu, the bartenders came over to take our order and it felt like a full service meal. Tried a new to us restaurant in Celebration for the first time. Located in the Hotel Celebration. The server was very good. The dining area was pleasant and the lunch crowd was light. Parking is in two lots nearby or on the street. Some walking involved but not bad. We ordered the strawberry waffle and the brunch burger. The waffle was nice to look at and wifey enjoyed it. My burger came with tasty fries and an egg on top. Once I bit into the egg it juices flowed all over the burger and made the bun soggy. It was good messy eating but I used a fork near the end. Excellent like every visit! This has become one of our favorite places for brunch. Between the food, the ambiance and the service everything is top tier. We always sit outside to enjoy the lovely outdoor balcony with views of the water and the trail that is nearby. Did I mention they have bottomless mimosas every day from 6:30a-3pm? Win win! I have came to eat with here with multiple friends and everyone loves it. The only thing I would say is missing i some music outside as it is so peaceful and quiet you can clearly hear everyone's conversations. Otherwise, this is one of the top brunch places. For being inside a hotel, this restaurant has some seriously good things going for it. First, the outside patio is beautiful. It sits directly on the lake, has a nice breeze, and great shaded spots to enjoy the food or drink. Also, the staff has been very friendly on each visit. My personal favorite thing has to be the apple bourbon cocktail. It is a perfect drink, extra perfect for a the 'chilly' fall nights by the lake, but stunning during the whole year, nonetheless. The pan seared snapped has been my favorite menu item so far. Went for brunch and had pretty common breakfast fare - nothing too exciting. The brussel sprout appetizer is pretty tasty and a super large portion. The Joyce Farms Chicken was also pretty standard. For the food, we ordered the stuffed French toast, strawberry shortcake waffles, pulled pork eggs Benedict, and corned beef hash, 3 coffees and 1 OJ. The total was $85ish. The French toast and strawberry shortcake waffles were delicious. I'm usually not a fan of sweet breakfasts but the few bites I had, they were tasty. The cake was a little dry but that's what the syrup is for. My husband ordered the pulled pork Benedict. The egg oozed but the flavor for the pulled pork wasn't there. A bit bland. The corned beef hash: the presentation was rustic and looked great but the execution for eating it was not ideal. I ended up having to use a bigger plate to combine the two. The corned beef was rolled slices with 2 eggs on top in a small cast iron skillet. The other small skillet had the potatoes. It was difficult to cut and eat. The potatoes were cooked perfectly though. The overall dish was on the salty side though. Overall, the presentations were beautiful, the food was good, the service was good. We went here for Magical Dining. We were disappointed. I will break it down into the pros and cons. Pros: The food is plated very attractively and feels very upscale. The lake view is very nice, that was the highlight for us for sure. The service was fine. Cons: We did not enjoy our appetizer or main course. The desserts were good. We won't be going back, the food was just too disappointing in taste. It looked great though so if you want something you can post on social media while enjoying a great view this would be a great option. read more

We had a gift card that they could not honor (WTF MARRIOTT?) but we didn't mind. We found bar seating. Ordered a hot chocolate and a 3 berry tart. The hot chocolate had refills. Wasn't bad. The 3 berry tart was good. Nice and warm. Should've gotten a scoop of ice cream to go along with it. The waitress at the bar was great. The restaurant was renamed 'The Fix Burger Bar' when we visited. Met my sister here for afternoon snacks and drinks. We sat outside on a beautiful sunny spring day and the deck was perfect. The exposure of the tables varied from full sun - where we sat, to some shade to full umbrella coverage. The service was great with servers who appeared to really enjoy their jobs.
