We stopped here while traveling. This is a pizza and burger spot, with pizza dough that is made fresh daily. It's a friendly spot where many people know each other. And the prices are incredibly affordable. We ordered the Rodeo and the Hawaiian pizzas - both were very good. We also ordered the Rodeo Burger and a BBQ Bacon Burger with an order of fries - also very good. Everything was served at the same time, steaming hot! A great feat for a single cook with our multiple orders as well as everyone else, and served in a very reasonable time! I'm giving this a 4 star, not because you have to come here, but if you are driving through - this little burger/pizza place is a great and affordable place to stop. read more

My qualifications for my review? My parents owned a popular pizza restaurant when we were growing up. l made and ate a lot of pizza! Visiting from Missouri, we wanted pizza for dinner and our SIL suggested Brenda's. We've ordered twice and have not been disappointed. The crust is definitely hand thrown, it's chewy, tender and delicious. The sauce is very good, light, not too tomatoey, I wouldn't be surprised if it was fresh. Generous amount of toppings and cheese, it makes for a great pizza. This time around we tried the fried mushrooms, they were excellent. My only complaint is I wish they used fresh mushrooms on their pizza instead of canned but even that little bump doesn't take away from the deliciousness of the pie! read more

I have to update. Nothing has gotten better about their pizza. I moved away for 3 years, came back, and have been back for 2 years and if actually got worse. I got two XL pizzas on their specials day where the price was cheaper. For these two pies, I was charged $55 with them saying the rate only applied to 1 pie. I would've booked two orders then. How rediculous. We've tried some of the other selections and they are hit and miss. Genuinely, they are my last choice in Philly and we have gotten to the point we will drive to Evans Mills or Watertown versus using them. Just an FYI - Stewart's sells pizza and so does Philly Fuels (along with a lot of other options). They are both MUCH better. Pizza Hut in Evans Mills has wings to die for. I've tried many times to like this place but end up saying I'll never go back every time. Horrible customer service and food, sad because this is the only restaurant near. One time I ordered and showed up when they said, an hour later, they said it'll be a few minutes. 30 minutes later after sitting in the lobby I asked again and they said they lost my order and never cooked it. Then ordered tonight and the subs tasted so unbelievably bad. The Italian sub tasted like nothing but peppermint tooth paste for some reason and the chicken philly tasted like old freeze burned chicken that sat in a fridge for a few days. I've been wanting to try this place since we moved to this small town months ago. My teenage daughters were resistant. Their classmates all informed them that Brenda's "sucked." However, it's the only pizza place nearby and Papa John's and Pizza Hut in the nearby town do not deliver here. So I was hopeful for a local pizza place. Plus, I just like mom and pop establishments. We ordered 20 wings with honey mustard, a cheese pizza and a pepperoni and pineapple pizza. The wings were good. Brenda's offers several sauce choices for the wings. They weren't any different than other wings I've had, but I will probably return for the wings. The pizzas we didn't like. The cheese is the type that is extremely greasy, so we had to sop it up with napkins. The crust and sauce tasted fresh and simple, which I usually like, but not this time. There was too much dough for the size of the pizza so we ended up with these big blobs of crust to chew on. And the dough was just bland. It needed salt. read more

PIZZA! I hear pizza~ We checked out this Pizza place as it is the only one in the town and WE were ready to eat! We ordered a Large Pepperoni Pizza and some soda. Pizza came fresh hot. The cheese was LOADED and ready for everyone to just grab a slice! The cheese just hooked up to the other slices as you pull yours apart from the main pan. Lightly crunchy on bottom but perfect. Sauce had just the right amount of garlic and seasonings in it. The thing I liked about the pizza was it was not thin or too thick. Crust was the type you wanted to munch down. Everyone filled up after one slice but you know how the lingering of the next piece just calls for you to get. yeah! The place was decent quick place to dine in and out. Not a white linen place but enough to take a load off your feet and share some giggles of your day with whom ever your with or even around. The pizza here is hit or miss. Some days the pizza is cooked to perfection. The next day you get some undercooked mess. For those who complain about how greasy the pizza is have probably never eaten true New York style pizza lol. If grease isn't running down your arm it isn't pizza lol. Other menu items include wings which aren't bad but not great either. Not much to complain about except they can sometimes go heavy on the sauce. We are new to the area and decided to check out their wings since there are a few yelpers that have talked about them. This place is nothing special, but we enjoy this small town and what they have to offer. The wings were good as in very hot and fresh. The sauces did need some work. They weren't nothing special. I've tried the burgers, fries, pizza, hot wings, and BBQ wings. ALL were Delicious!!! I'm from the south and the wing sauce is different then here.
