My initial thoughts were good. The owners purchased this auto shop from my parents years ago. at first the service was fine. When Leah, the owner was watching over the shop. But last April, 2023 I needed brakes. It was said they replaced all parts of the brakes, and the cost was over $800. at the time they seemingly did a good job, but 13,000 miles later and I need new brakes again. Now, I do not ride the brakes, or jam the brakes on. This has nothing to do with my driving. Never ever before have i had to replace brakes in less than a year. With no warranty, or anything. At the same time, the hose to my air conditioner was clogged so it was leaking into the front floor. They said there wasn't a clog in the hose, they tried to blow it out , nothing there. i took it to someone else I watched as they blew air in the hose, and all the water came gushing out. Soooo not that it was a huge expense, but they couldn't find the clog, which seemed like a super simple task. They actually tried to tell me that the water was coming from my windshield to inside the car and to take it to an autobody shop. Anyway, as far as I am concerned they are completely incompetent and I would NEVER take another car here! read more

Car they sold us was apparently already sold...poor communication at dealership. Bought different car (didn't have all safety stuff we wanted) which they did discount some because of mix up...then 3wks later original car we wanted was back on website..asked them to do numbers on getting original car.. then, surprise! They tell me car is already sold..again...Very poor communication..very poor. read more

Incompetent con artist! I was out right lied to and taken advantage of. They charged me double what they quoted me, sold me parts I didn't need, and did a horrible job on my car. When I brought up these concerns they basically told me to f*** off and it wasn't their problem. If your smart you will stay away. read more

YOUR MECHANIC SHOP SEARCH IS OVER READ THIS AND YOU WILL GET WHY!! These guys and lady where excellent, courteous, professional and honest. I showed up up a half hour before they open but one of them was there I had no appointment never been there before and desperately needed the broken belt in my wife's car fixed (it was unsafe). The guy was nice enough to take me inside and take all my info (mind u all before they where even open). They called me later and told me what the car needed at which point I asked if they could also change the oil, "no problem at all" that's what I heard, no ohh we are busy or other griping you and I have both heard from 90% of shops. Picked the car up I had never asked for a rice even when it was offered I was busy at work and just said it needs to be done just do it, although fully expecting a 1000.00 dollar bill, 4 tires on SUV, alignment, oil change all at a place I've never been...... I was amazed to not be overcharged the price was amazing. It was as good as the place I bring my 7 work vehicles who had been working on our trucks and cars for 25 years. In short Brennan's is great I was surprised, happy, and excited all at once. If your in north attleboro and in need of a mechanic u can trust look no further, I've found my local guy for life hope he doesn't retire before I do search is finally over!!!! read more

Just God awful. They tried to fix my vehicle 3 times and failed. The result was a blown engine in rush hour on 128. It had been serviced the third time 3 days prior. read more

The guys at Brennans are great. I am the Director of Operations for an HVAC company with approximately 15 vehicles and we bring our whole fleet to them. They get the trucks in and out quickly, accommodate our schedule (which often requires Saturday repairs) and charge a fair price. I have also brought my personal vehicle to them, as well as my parents and in-laws and they have taken great care of them as well. I highly recommend them and do so often! The woman who answers the phones is also very helpful and efficient! read more

We had a horrible experience with Brennan's Auto Service. I brought my truck in for brake service. I was quoted $600 - $700 & told if it's worse case scenario they'd call with an updated quote. However, they called to say my truck was ready to be picked up (that's the only call I got). When we got there the price was more than DOUBLE the quote!!! The price was $1,541.35!! They NEVER called to say the quote had doubled! So you can imagine my shock. They made an apology for not calling with the updated price quote. To me that's inexcusable, they should have called & given me the option to say yes proceed with the work or no not to. I'm extremely upset & would never recommend them. read more

Had several issues with this shop -originally went with John because of a recommendation. Last issue was a game changer for me. I had Brennan's replace my timing belt and water pump based on Mfg's recommendation. Paid roughly $600 for the job which isn't a BAD price. Roughly 15k miles later, I was driving home on rt 95 in the left lane when engine suddenly died. Barely made it over to break down lane. Next morning, my NEW mechanic diagnosed that the timing belt snapped causing head damage to the engine (basically requiring either $1300 to rebuild or to drop in a new engine). When I told him that it was a recently replaced timing belt from Brennan's he told me that although the water pump looked new, his opinion was that that was the original belt given it's level of wear and the fact that the bolts were rusted on solid to get to the belt. Unfortunately, I don't have sufficient proof or I would have taken Brennan to court as I ultimately paid for a service which didn't look to be done, resulting in my ultimately scraping a car that was otherwise great! Buyer beware, I would advise you to go somewhere else or at least ask to SEE all parts which were replaced to verify that you got what you paid for. read more
