We added on carpeting two sets of utility stairs (garage/unfinished basement), and then dropped the knowledge on him that we had purchased LVT for our kitchen and entry that we needed to install as well. Surprisingly, we were able to tack that on to the quote and job. I'm super happy about the cash discount offered!! Cash is Queen! The installers busted their backsides. The LVT guys were here a few days to prep (as we had flooring under flooring, and uneven underlayment). They did everything I asked of them and also presented me with options throughout the process. Because of this, I know that down the road if I change out this new flooring, the process will be easier. Very happy! They were also super clean and respectful of my home. The carpet installers were amazing! My dumb self made an error (couldn't find the remnants after install) and my word they were nice about it. (They were literally right in front of my eyes in the basement and for some reason, I couldn't see them. I felt so dumb. lol) The carpet looks amazing too! I just keep using that word---amazing. Chuck is the absolute RUDEST "business" person I have ever encountered and that's saying something is today's customer "service" environment. I called Tussings for the 1st time ever today and am appalled at his behavior. I simply was inquiring about tile as I had been referred there. He had such a rotten attitude. He asked me to text him 4 times despite being told 4 times that I didn't text. He even then asked me if I had a cell phone as if I was lying. I asked him if I could give him the number of the tile I was trying to match and he said NO! I then asked him if he had Internet access so as to look the tile up. He refused. When I asked for the owner, he refused to tell me who it was. Then I asked to speak to a manager and he once again refused. I raised my voice because he was mistreating me for no reason, despite being told that I was a first-time caller. He hung up on me. I called back again, asking for the manager and he refused to connect me again. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH TUSSINGS IF THIS IS HOW THEIR EMPLOYEE(S) TREAT PEOPLE. CHUCK YOU BLEW IT.
