Hicham made us excellent drinks and when we went back on our last night (again close to closing time) after he already cleaned up, he still made us drinks anyway which he totally didn't need to do. We've yet to have a bad meal here. Service was quick and attentive by our waiter and support staff which we appreciated since we were eating prior to the No Doubt concert. We went here ahead of a concert at the Sphere and I was able to make reservations for 6pm almost same day. When we arrived we had a short wait before being seated, but it was reasonable. This is located in St Marks Square in the Venetian. At first I thought I wouldn't like sitting right out on the square but it ended up being alright. The tables were private enough and it was nice to look at the painted sky on the inside of the canal shops. The service was excellent and I loved the menu options. It was good for vegetarians and the food was very tasty. I wanted to gnocchi but don't love pesto so they were able to switch it for a red sauce. We also got a margherita pizza for the table to share which was good. We also got the bread basket which came with several types of bread that were all tasty. Great for soaking up sauce as well. Brera Osteria is such a great spot for a date night or intimate conversation. Sitting at the bar may not give you the best people watching or views, but it creates the perfect cozy atmosphere to actually connect and enjoy the experience. The food is fantastic definitely on the pricier side but their happy hour from 2pm-5pm is awesome for both food and drinks. The staff were attentive, welcoming, and made the experience even better. Absolutely get the pineapple drink, and for food don't miss the buffalo mozzarella appetizer. It's easily enough for two people and comes with generous portions of prosciutto and delicious roasted tomatoes. So good! read more

Plenty of seating available and probably one of the more comfortable dining setups I've had in a while. I never felt cramped or rushed, which was nice. Service was quick and there were multiple waiters and waitresses checking in, but honestly I felt like because I was dining alone I didn't get the same experience as other tables. I noticed nearby tables were being told about specials and different menu options while I was simply handed a menu and left to decide on my own. I ordered a pizza because it looked great in other reviews, but the flavor just wasn't there for me. The crust itself was actually pretty good, but overall the pizza was underwhelming. I also ordered the bread plate for $10 and noticed my portion looked noticeably smaller than what other tables received, although I'm sure the price was the same. Overall it was just an OK experience. Nothing terrible, but definitely not memorable enough to return. I was happy to find Brera - although they did not have an open table, they were able to seat me at the bar. Went here for dinner after a conference day with a couple co-workers and I was so pleased with their choice. I usually never have an issue going out for Italian food and my biggest problem of the night was deciding what I wanted, as everything sounded so good. I saw squash blossoms on the appetizer list and insisted we get them. Everyone at the table enjoyed these, which were amplified by the pea pesto. We also got the bread service and beet salad to start our night. I had the saffron risotto with bone marrow. Out of this world. The bone marrow was so flavorful and the risotto was perfect. Friendly service and the atmosphere was fun. Located in the Grand Canal Shops in the Venetian so it looks like you are sitting outside but you are not in the hot Las Vegas sun! I especially enjoyed my Pineapple Sour drink. It was beautiful and had the right alcohol to mix ratio. My friend and I shared the Amatriciana Pizza. The pizza was wood fired with tomato sauce, goat cheese, pancetta and carmalized onion. The pizza was enough for us to share but I was not wowed by it. Attentive and friendly interactions. What impressed me the most was the food. Everything we ordered was delicious. It's not everyday I come across a restaurant that I like everything. I really like linguine with crabs and cacio e pepe. I'd love to come back and try other dishes next time. Personally I found the utensils to be too heavy for me to use. For a Saturday afternoon, it was pretty mellow for the resturant and decently quiet in the grand canal shoppes. They had a good selection of food and drink for happy hour. We decided to get the meatballs and bread plate as an appetizer. Super flavorful and the different types of bread were great to try. We ended up sharing the chicken piccata and cacao e Pepe. My personal favorite thing was the waitress took it in herself to have the one dish put into two servings so we wouldn't have to share one bowl! The restaurant is inviting and calm with the painted ceiling above. The wait staff was not only friendly but knowledgeable about the menu. We started the meal with the ceasar salad. The dressing was consistent throughout the bowl and the croutons were thin, crispy, and flavorful. The Diavolina pizza arrived next. The salame was spicy and not greasy upon a light and thin crust that still had excellent chew. The pizza is too big for most people and two of us split the pizza and salad and it was perfect. Went here for happy hour on a Tuesday..hours are 3-5. They seated us at a nice outdoor table and the ambience was very nice...I really felt like I was dining outside in Europe. We both ordered a happy hour beer for 7 dollars. Mine was nice and cold, but hubs was a little warm. We ordered the meatballs and pizza on happy hour. The pizza is pretty big and your typical Italian style pizza...not American by any means. It has a very thin crust with very little toppings, but we enjoyed it. The meatballs were average at best...the sauce they were drenched in was very good...next time I will order something else. I will be back if in the area for a nice light early dinner. My daughter and I ate here before the Backstreet Boys concert. I have to say that I miss the old restaurant. When it changed to Brera Osteria the food quality went down. Our pizza was watered down with the tomato sauce and our toppings fell right off. The flavor was mediocre. I will say that the pistachio crème brûlée we ate was very tasty and a great portion. The service was okay. Our waitress was super nice, but rarely came to our table so we waited quite a while to put in our order and get the check. If I want the ambiance of state fair style dining with Italian-American flair I'll come here again. Maybe a reservation would have been better. The evening service was busy and chaotic but they found my friend and I a table for two within five minutes. We were seated in their courtyard space, a fence separating the seating area from the Canal Shoppes and not five feet from the pickup station. The seating density was packed cordwood levels. No one could move past the table or my chair without bumping into one or the other. It was also exceptionally loud as people talked over one another. I rarely can stand one, but both made me super irritated. Nothing else redeemed the meal. Our server treated the table between indifference and inconvenience. He took food orders and dropped off food like I've only seen portrayed in movies - typically scenes set in diners, the waitress usually irritated young woman. The cacio e pepe likely would have been considered a crime in Italy. They committed atrocities to that dish. The noodles were soft and gummy, the cheese heavy handed, and it had cooled to the point everything congealed. The dish resulted in flashbacks of my preschool days and kids licking that thick white paste used in paper crafts. The Italian soda seemed completely absent of the soda. I could not wait to escape our fenced in captivity. Our waiter never asked about my practically untouched food. We paid and left to find a snack. read more

The crust is freshly made and wood fired to perfection. The cheese is bubbly and none of the ingredients overpower eachother. The green onion on our pizza was a bit different, but it was so subtle and perfect. The Caesar salad was well-dressed and not overpowering, but the capers were a bit strange from what I'm used to. Ever been pleasantly surprised by a tourist trap? Fake Venice or not, the Canal Shoppes at the Venetian are still a tourist trap. I just assumed I was going to get overpriced average food. That was just not the case at Brera. This place has excellent food at extremely fair prices with exceptional service. With so many Italian choices in Vegas, this has to be one of the better ones. No you aren't outside in a beautiful Italian plaza, but it sure feels like it. Being served by an extremely attentive wait staff that attends to every aspect of your experience makes for a great dinner with friends. Several times the staff wasn't happy with the glassware or correct utensils and made adjustments. Things they didn't have to do, but did. The food was far better than I expected. We shared several appetizers, both pizzas and salads and they were all excellent. Whenever I see eggplant parmigiana on the menu I can't pass it up. I was not disappointed, and at 20 bucks for an entree on the Strip, I can't complain. My wife's entree was 40 bucks, but for squid ink pasta di mare, you kinda expect it. Also excellent. Pasta was perfect and tons of seafood. Dessert and drinks were also top notch. We were never rushed and just had a great time. For 8 adults with 2 bottles of wine, many cocktails and apps with 8 entrees, including tip it came out to 720 bucks. Less than 100 bucks a person for all of that. After expecting the worst, we got great. If I'm ever in Vegas and someone wants Italian- I got a spot for you. read more

Went here with my kids and enjoyed some margherita pizza and spaghetti with meatballs. The kids pizza is a pretty good size, and is just right for an under-10 kid. The kids pasta was slightly al dente, but not so much so as to be off-putting to a kid with American tastes. The adult pizza was good and fresh. I wish the pizzas were not quite as charred--I know it's "authentic" that way, but I don't need to eat black bits as I'm munching my pizza (and they're a little annoying to try to remove, top and bottom). Service was good, and they have a bathroom on-site, so you don't have to use the public restrooms like in some nearby restaurants.
