This place is worse than eating sushi from a gas station…read more We arrived at the view at 6:00pm. (It was not busy and prior to arriving we called to ask for a wait time. We were told there was none.) We were seated promptly and the given menus. The waitress was walking by about 10 minutes later and I informed her that my group was ready to order whenever she is ready. She informed us that she will get us in just a bit after she gets the table behind us because they were there first (totally okay) we told her don't sweat it and take her time. She comes by about 5 minutes later and takes our FOOD orders and appetizers. She did not ask what any of us wanted to drink except me because I told her when I ordered my food what I wanted to drink. She then walks away. She is walking by about 15 minutes later and I asked her if she could get us our drinks please. (I understand if things are busy or she forgot, I get it sh*t happens sometimes). She then took down 3 of the 4 people at the table what we wanted to drink except my girlfriends (she asked me again because she didn't write anything down). Without asking what my girlfriend wanted to drink she started to walk away, I called out for the waitress to come back and take my girlfriend's order. After she did, we waited about 10-20 minutes to receive our drinks. Now at this point an hour has passed since we ordered our appetizers and food, we did not hear anything from the server that food will be out a certain amount of time or anything. Like come on, do the bare minimum if the kitchen can't cook food walk out and tell the customer that it will be ex amount of time. We decided to wait until an hour and 15 minutes to say something. After not hearing anything I asked a waitress there was walking by if there was a manager by chance inside because we just wanted to get our food or leave at this point. She told us that she will get the manager and asked what was going on. She told us that she would be getting the manager for us. She then came out a few minutes later and told us that she manager would be unable as they are bartending. By now we were fed up. I walked into the bar area and asked (what looked like a manager) if she was, she told me that there was no manager working that tonight, and asked me what was going on. I filled her in on what had transpired. She told me she will check in with the staff to see what was taking so long. I then went back out to my table and waited. About 15 minutes later our waitress comes back out with our food this time and our appetizers together. Upon her walking up to the table she said "sorry for the wait, I heard you guys were making a fuss". My burger was slightly warm, the cheese curds were room temperature, my fries were hard and room temperature, my friend's chicken wrap tasted weird and had under cooked/ pink chicken in it. My girlfriend's fries were cold, and her Mac and cheese bites were slightly edible. Then the real kicker, the table behind us was served COMPLETELY UNCOOKED/ pink chicken. (Pictures attached) they also received a burger patty that could have been used as charcoal. I'm sure if you would have hit it on the table it would have shattered. Their table and mine then walked into the bar to pay and leave, we were waiting standing at the bar waiting for a bartender or waitress to come over to us to help us pay and leave. We waited for about 10 minutes (it was NOT busy) they continued to completely and blatantly disrespectfully ignore us. The one bartender was about to walk back again to try and look busy when I decided I had enough and yelled out to her. She then ignored us all and our waitress came up to us. I ran her through everything we experienced while being there and have now at this time been there for nearly 2 hours just to eat sh*t cold hard food, and had to beg for drinks. She informed us nor the other group we had to pay and were free to leave but took down our names and phone numbers so that "the manager can call us". I'm not expecting a phone call from them anytime soon. While leaving there were 2 other tables that were completely disgusted about by what they served us and the other table that they had to go. Listen, I completely understand if you are short staffed or your cooks are incompetent and slow, but please INFORM YOUR CUSTOMERS THAT WAIT TIMES WILL BE SLOW and if you are serving your table, ASK YOUR CUSTOMERS WHAT THEY WANT TO DRINK ESPECIALLY ON A HOT SUMMER DAY. I have reported the food quality issues to the Chippewa County food and health department as well as the State of Wisconsin food safety and health administration.
