I brought my two sons age 4 & 6 for eye exams today. From the time we arrived, the staff was kind and helpful. Dr. Bowman took extra time with my boys to make sure they were comfortable with every different step of the exam. My boys who are usually a bit reserved were comfortable and stress free. When picking glasses for one of my sons, the entire staff were all helpful and extra patient with my boys who were, by that time, a bit active. I plan to continue exams for my boys here and also plan to have my husband and myself schedule exams here too. read more

This office was recommended by my sister and I was very happy with my overall visit. The staff was friendly and helpful - I was able to make an appointment for the same week I called and the location is great (in the Tustin medical plaza behind the post office off of Newport). The office is clean and nice - good selection of frames (several designers like Coach, Vera Wang, Ray Ban, etc.). I was looking for a particular pair of frames that they didn't have and possibly for a few more options - but i'm super picky and ended up finding something nice anyway. Dr. Bowman was very helpful and easy to understand when it came to what was wrong with my vision and what was needed to fix it. It's very evident that they care about their patients here, which is really important to me. I would definitely reccommend if you're looking for a new optometrist. read more

Went in about a month ago and all I can say is, I finally found the right eye doctor. First off, The front desk girls, Stephanie and Yesenia were super sweet and friendly. Booking my appointment was no hassle whatsoever, walked in to friendly faces and they were quick with checking me in and getting me ready. I saw Dr. Lin for my exam. I have been going to Dr. Bowman for over 10 years. He is extrememly professional, patient, and understanding. You could talk to him as a friend and he understands. He is available and there for you - not rushed!!!! His assistants, Brenda, Teresa and Alex are the greatest. They treat you as part of the family, make you feel at home. I buy all my sunglasses at Dr. Bowmans' - they have a great selection of glasses. The gals are their to help you select with the various designs of frame. I love it because they have Coach, Juicy Corture, Ray Ban, etc. nothing but the best - The examination is thorough and they always tell you what they will be doing. I went in for an exam and it was a pleasant visit. I took my 3 year old son with me and the staff was very friendly towards him and me. Because they were so friendly I asked to make an appointment for my son too. We came back for a second visit and both optometrists and the rest of the staff were very informative and treated us nicely through the appointments. I would definitely recommend this office to those looking for an optometrist. It is a very clean nice office and lots of space too. My experience at Dr Bowman/West Coast Optometry in Corona was not good , I had a problem with my brand new eyeglasses, my nose pads irritated my face to the point were I had soars on my face. I had to have them replaced with silicone pads; I was told that by replacing the pads to silicone that this may be the problem. Well it wasn't. Not only did they tell me that usually they charge $8 to change my nose pads to silicone they didn't bother to adjust them. After spending 548.00 and that's with insurance, I was so disappointed. I asked the assistant what happens if this doesn't work, she shrugged her shoulder and said "well I'll have to ask the doctor". I called to get my prescription so I can go elsewhere, do you think they bothered asking if how my glasses felt. I emailed Dr. Bowman on the 10th of October letting him know how I felt, never got a response or a solution. This is my fault to think this was a professional, caring and friendly business. I will make sure my experience with Dr. Bowman/West Coast Optometry was a very bad experience and will be well known through the Internet and word of mouth. I have not worn my glasses since. I don't mind spending more money ordering more glasses elsewhere so I can wear them comfortably. read more

Having recently moved to Corona, I was in need of an optometrist. Saw the Yelp reviews and selected Dr. Bowman. His staff is very pleasant, and they were able to get me in right away for an appointment. Dr. Bowman was both personable and professional. He took the time to answer my questions and provided a thorough examination. They have a good selection of eyeglass frames, and took time to review all options as I selected my glasses. They arrived a day earlier than was quoted, and the extended hours allowed me to stop by after work to have them fit. I am new to the Corona area and was in need of a good eye doctor. I did some research on line and Dr. Bowman's name cropped up several times, so I made an appointment for my annual eye examination. His office is very nice and in a nice medical building that is convenient with lots of parking available. The staff is very friendly, especially Teresa, his assistant. Dr. Bowman is friendly, personable, and thorough. I did not feel rushed at all and I felt that Dr. Bowman was honest in his comments and suggestions. He didn't try to pressure me into buying anything but let me know what was available if I needed it. I can unhesitatingly recommend Dr. Bowman and feel very grateful to have found him.
