Gotta agree with Natalie M. on this one. My wife and I have had scheduled appointments on multiple occasions, only to show up on time and the offices aren't even open yet. The most recent case, they were supposed to open at 10am. I showed up for my appointment early, which was scheduled for 10:30. They still weren't open (see photo below), so I called and left a voicemail. They called me back at 11, trying to get me to reschedule yet again. We're done with this place, and I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere too. read more

Warning!!! Do not go here! I had my daughter call the very next day after my appointment to cancel them making my eyeglasses because I found a better deal with kits.com. They lied and said the lab started working on it already and they couldn't cancel it and that I would receive my glasses within a week. Now they are saying there was a mix up and I have to wait even longer!! I'm furious. This is the worst optometry I've ever been to. It has almost been 3 weeks! I have been walking around with broken glasses ever since. And I have to wait even longer for their mistake!!they won't give me a refund. I just want a refund!!! read more

WORST OPTOMETRIST EVER DO NOT COME HERE! They don't even deserve one star. They are so unorganized and unprofessional. Too many glasses and files everywhere ! I had to call them to ask when my glasses were ready and all of a sudden " they were just about to call me" then they say my glasses got lost! It took 3 months for me to finally get my glasses! Rude rude rude!! Everyone is so miserable here. The eye doctor shakes her head and huffs and puffs when she is making adjustments. They are all so rude and disrespectful. I've been coming to Corona Valley Optometry since 2015, Dr. Rheeza Oriel is amazing. Finally an eye Dr. who truly cares about her patients. She has fixed what many doctors failed to do. I listened to her guidance and advice on how to treat my eyes with daily contacts instead of regular 2 week ones, best advice ever received. I've also purchased many prescription glasses and never experienced any issues. She knows me on a first name basis, knows my children who are now 5 and 2, I've been going since I was pregnant . I love how the staff make me feel so at home and welcoming. Isabel is wonderful! She makes everything so easy to understand with insurance stuff. The staff KNOW their patients and I never feel like a number. I trust this Optometry with everything. I saw some bad reviews and I wanted to comment how one isolated bad experience should never dictate the overall perception of any location. Just because you were angry and needed to blow some steam. Few things wrong here at this branch. I came in and the intial process wasn't anything to complain about except for the feeling of being rushed into my eye exam. As I was waiting for the doctor for my exam I requested to take a look at a pair of frames. I was told no, you can see them when you are done with your exam. So I sat there thinking that they would bring me right back. False, I sat there for a little bit over 5 minutes. Which is not a long time to wait but I don't understand why I could not just see a frame that I had already intended on getting, it wasn't like I was going to look at 100 frames. I stated that I knew the exact set I was going to get. Went through the whole process and had ordered my pair (which was special order) and was told 7 - 10 days. Sure, that sounds fair. I understand that my frames were special order because they did not have that on hand at their location but it took 3wks. I could have ordered them on ebay and gotten them in 1 week. I think if you state a certain timeline to your patient/customer, if the time has passed initial stated timeframe, just a quick call to notify your customer would be greatly appreciated. And finally, the mark up on frames is so ridiculous. I happened to choose a pair of sunglass frames because I liked the look over conventional eye glass frames. They charged 150, which is actually the retail price from the original manufacturers website. Only problem I had with that was that that price was for the polarized lenses versus the plain jane lenses. They purchased the plane jane lense frames so I don't understand the reasoning behind ordering the $150 polarized lenses when the gave me the $100 non polarized set. I know this because of the box they gave me. They even refused to give me the original lenses that came with the set stating that because i used my insurance (which I pay a premium for monthly), they will not give me the original lenses because they want to make sure that I needed the glasses and not taking advantage of my insurance company. Wow, to flat out tell me that I may be committing fraud. I could easily buy these for $60 so why would I be trying to "get over" on the insurance company. I paid more than $60 total for my visits here on this one pair. I just don't understand why i was overcharged originally on the price and then refused to be given the lenses that came with the pair i PAID for. I will definitely research further into the matters listed above. I wouldn't recommend coming here due to their shady practices but that's just me. read more

I was in desperate need of an eye exam after years of not having one. I called corona valley after seeing there great reviews and was able to get an appointment quick and easy. Day if appointment I got there and was a little confused by the look on the outside of the door. It seemed cluttered and disorganized. I went in and was greeted promptly by the 2 women working but again the back counter behind them was full of papers and stacks of stuff as well as a full corner call if filed. Just didn't have a clean look. I started the process and they had me fill out some basic information and then started the tests. I was a little surprised the machines were right in the front room and not in a more private area since it's easy to get distracted by others coming in and out. The assistant helping me cleaned all machines and was very good at informing me of the process. I did 2 tests and my results were quick and I was asked to wait for the doctor. The doctor guided me to back room where she started her thorough exam. The room was clean and nice and she was very friendly. She went through a series of slides until I was comfortable and could see much better then before. After I was guided back to the front room to be assisted finding a pair of frames. Again the women were very nice but the classes were piled on top of one another and not easy to see. I was able to find a pair for an ok price and was told they would be ready in a few days which they were. When I picked up they helped me adjust and fit properly. Overall very friendly staff and great results but the office could do with some cleaning and organizing to better appeal to those spending a good amount on glasses. read more

I was in the market for a new optometrist and came here as a recommendation from a friend. I've been switching around for several years now, never really being satisfied with my services, but I'm so glad my friend told me about this place and I'm especially glad Isabel was around to help me through the process! The new customer setup was fast and simple, the optometrist was quick and professional. One of the problems I've encountered with other optometrist is they don't listen or seem to care about the problems I'm having. At Corona Valley Optometry, they took the time to hear about my issues and concerns and addressed all of them. They were very patient with my indecisiveness with which contact lens brand I wanted to choose from and even gave suggestions on what would work best with my concerns. The staff always knows exactly why I am there and they are very friendly and remembering who I am. The girls who work here look miserable. The main girl in the office doesn't know how to work the insurance for your full benefit. I purchased some generic sunglasses with scratch resistant lenses, and purchased the warranty. I was told if anything happens I just bring my eyeglasses in. Well I got a scratch, took them in and I had to pay an extra $25 for it, I was never informed of this fee. The usual place I go to does not charge an additional fee for warranty repairs. Anyway, when the eyeglasses are returned to me I asked them to adjust my frame because they were a bit loose, the main girl says, "okay, but if I break them I'm not responsible". Wtf!!!! How the hell are YOU not responsible!!! Ridiculous! I'm not coming back. read more

First time going to this place. Worst experience of my life! I called to set an appointment in advance and they told me that they opened at 10 so I asked if I can get an appointment at that time the next day. When I arrived the day of my appointment, (9:57am) I noticed the lights were off and no on was in sight. I proceeded to wait 15 minutes in my car and saw a lady running to open the door. I told her it was my first time there and she replied with "I can't control the traffic on the 71 fwy!" My husband and I have owned a business before and know better than to speak to a customer like that. It is no ones fault that our freeways are saturated with traffic but there is absolutely no way that she should have barked at me with that tone. I immediately left as I know better than to be "talked to" in that manner by someone I am giving a lot of business to. My husband and three boys will just have to get their eyes checked elsewhere. So sad that some people don't have manners, especially when they are managing a business. Very disappointed with this place as it conveniently located right by my house. read more

Bought a pair of glasses here and said it would take 1 1/2 weeks to get. Picked up my glasses and saw a scratch so they resent it out and I had to wait another 1 1/2 weeks. After waiting another 1 1/2 weeks, I called to see if it was ready an found out there was another scratch on the other lens!! So now I have to wait possibly another 1 1/2 weeks!! Unacceptable!!! If you want professional service.... Go somewhere else because a "sorry" just isn't cutting it!!! read more
